*A Week Later*

Location; India.

Anthonia POV

I smiled at my reflection.
My yellow saree suited me so well and my jewelry,they were cool.

My bangles were red so as not to forget the ancestral bangles.

I had a golden neckwear on with a matching pair of earrings.

I was busy styling my hair into a bun when Aditi walked into the room.
I stared at him from the mirror to see him head to take something out of the wardrobe.
He held a rectangular box with him and began to approach me as I furrowed my brows.

I was done with my hair and only had to make my tendrils perfect then fix in my hair pins.

"Here.." Aditi said stretching forth the box as I creased my brows.

"What is it?" I asked

"Open it." He only replied and I rolled my eyeballs opening the box.

My gaze fell upon the most beautiful hair pins ever!
Made right out of pure gold and diamonds!

"You.. you got this for me?" I asked puzzled.

"You don't like it?" He replied with a question.

"I.. I do."
"Thanks." I muttered and he nodded but didn't move away.
I guessed he wanted to see me wear them so I did.

I fixed them on as he watched.
They totally suited my saree

I picked up my vermilion box and opened it to take from it.

"Let me.." I heard Aditi offer as he took the box from me which was surprising.

I stood up facing him directly.
"What do you really want?"
"Why are you being so nice?" I demanded and he scoffed.

"Let me do this or we will go late." He replied totally ignoring my query and finally applied the vermilion on my temple.
He closed the box and kept it aside before leaving the room and also leaving me totally surprised.

Diya POV

I saw Adi alight the stairs without Anthonia.

"Where is her son?" Mother asked and we heard sounds of a court shoe steps alighting the stairs.

"I'm so sorry I'm late." Anthoniaapologized and my gaze fell upon something that made me gasped lightly.

Anthoniahad the very hair pin Adi made me test out back in Korea.
He had taken it into his possession and I was wondering if he wanted to gift it to me someday but Anthoniawas wearing it right then!

Anthonia POV

We all made for the exit.
Tonight is Krish's baby shower as she was already in her second trimester.

I rode with Aditi and the rest paired up in the other jeeps.
Soon enough,we were out of the premises.

I watched as Mother chatted with my Mum-in-law.
I eye scanned through the guests and found Aditi sitting at a table operating on his cellphone looking so ever pretty and I couldn't help but smile especially when I remembered he had gotten me an attractive pair of hair pins.

"Anthonia…."
I turned to see Vidya and I beamed happily.
We had a short hug and she felt the hair pin.

"O my! These appears super expensive Anthonia. How did you get them?." She exclaimed and I chuckled.

"It's a new gift." I said and she marveled.

"From your husband right?" She teased and I choked on nothing.

"It's so pretty." She cooed as I smiled faintly then glanced at Aditi to see that he had been looking my way.

Later

We arrived home pretty late after an amazing baby shower.
Everyone felt exhausted and we quickly headed to our rooms.

Aditi had stayed down to do something I do not know about giving me the space to get my outfit off.

I sighed sitting before the mirror and started with my bangles then my neck wear and earrings.
I reached for the hair pins and took them off.
They looked really pretty to behold and I still couldn't believe Aditi had gotten them for me as a gift!
Wow!

A sweet feeling suddenly enveloped me as I shut my eyes for a moment but was snapped back to reality by the closing door.

He was back.
I dropped the hair pins and watched him from the mirror as he placed his phones on the bed and began to approach the dressing table.

I still watched him as he began to take off his rings adorning his hands which looked so beautiful.

Wait!
Why on earth was I admiring him?!

I sighed getting off the stool then walked into the bathroom.

*Weeks Later*

Anthonia POV

I groaned as I alighted the jeep and headed into the mansion.
I was so worn out!

I finally had my last paper for high school.
Phew!

All I had to do was to wait for my results and finally graduate.

It was over a month since Krish's baby shower and Aditi had gotten a lot more busy that he would leave for the office before I get up and return when I was already asleep.

He had companies to run alongside being called for concerts and adverts.
Well…that was his headache not mine.

"Namaste Granny." I greeted and kissed her cheek while she caressed my hair softly.

"How was it dear?" She asked and I smiled lightly.

"Went well. I am really tired." I groaned and she laughed.

"Of course. You appear tired. Go get some rest." She urged and I nodded.

I was close to my room when I came across Diya who pulled on a scowl face and I scoffed.

"School girl.." she sneered and I clenched my jaw suppressing the anger she was trying to get out of me then walked past her finally going into the room.

Exhaling,I dropped my bag aside and headed to calm my tired nerves.

Dinner…

"How was your paper Anthonia?" Aunt Indu asked and I smiled still serving Aditi.

"It went well." I replied dropping the serving spoon then sat next to Aditi.

"I will be graduating soon." Janvi announced.

"Oh!..." Everyone muttered.
She had concluded her exams a week ago.

Luckily, Aditi came back home quite early after Father-in-law and Granny convinced him.

"Mmh…Anthoniahas really improved in her cooking." Mother-in-law noted and I smiled softly.
I prepared the sauce for dinner after Aunt Shyla had taught me how to countless times where most times,I would almost burn down the kitchen.

Aditi barely ate anything before excusing himself.

"Shouldn't you go check up on him?" Granny said to me.

"Huh?" I muttered surprised.

"Go on. After all,he is your husband"she shrugged.

Seriously!?

I nodded slowly and excused myself.
