In a few minutes Allyson got to the venue picked by Daniel.


'You have 5 mins to explain yourself." Allyson said to Daniel as soon as she arrived at the venue and settled down.


'Thanks for coming, Allyson." Daniel thanked Allyson as soon as he saw her.


Daniel was always known as a very straightforward person, he was not going to bite around for any reason. He went straight to the point.


'Please the main reason why I called you out was because I want to plead with you to help me beg Vanessa. I know I offended her but I am willing to pay any price as long as she forgives me but if she continues to stay in your place she won't consider me. Please put in some good words for me. I want you to help me plead with her, I swear I am sorry for everything." Daniel pleaded with Allyson.


'And what makes you think that I would do that for you." Allyson asked him angrily.


'Allyson, it's because I know you are a good person and you know I am willing to change.


'You made my best friend a laughing stock in the company, someone to always gossip about in the company. You made her go through pain and all you want now is a come back like nothing happened."


'I am so sorry."


'Really so now you want to apologize, well save that for Vanessa."


'I have tried reaching out to her but all to no avail, she had blocked me on all social media and also blocked my calls. I have tried everything possible but she keeps turning me down."


'I actually don't know what you want me to do for you now, because I don't think I can be of help on any way." Allyson replied him.


'Please Allyson,"


'Don't beg me you know what right for you to do so do it, you can expect me to beg her on your behave. You are the one who offended her so apologize to her yourself."


Daniel begged her to please put in good words for him when she get back home. She partially agreed to do that for him. They were done talking so Allyson letting the venue.


'Thanks for coming Allyson" Daniel said to Allyson as she entered her car.


Daniel was so happy he was able to meet with Allyson, he went back home fulfilled with a little hop that Allyson was going to put in good words for him and it would make Vanessa have a rethink.


Allyson's house…


'I think you should consider Daniel, at least listen to what he wants to say to you so we could know where to start from." Allyson pleaded with Vanessa.


'I know it's not easy, but I would really like to hear what he wants to say to you" Allyson continued.


'Can you stop this already, you know that all this is not necessary. I don't care about what he wants to say to me right now."Vanessa said to Allyson angrily.


Allyson was also scared with the way Vanessa reacted. She knew it wouldn't be easy for her to convince Vanessa.


'Nessa are happy staying at my place? Are you really sure that you are comfortable staying in my place knowing fully well that you are a married woman even if it's a contract marriage? The fact still remains that you are married. Nessa is this how you want to end ii? Remember that you will never run forever and people will continue to talk." Allyson advised Vanessa calmly.


It was obvious in Vanessa's face that she was already getting convinced.


'I think it's better you both meet up and at least talk a little, hear what he has to say besides it's been three weeks already."


'Allyson, why are you trying to make this really difficult for me?"


'I am not trying to make it difficult for you, I am only trying to make sure you are happy and you are taking the right steps."


'Hmmm…" Vanessa signed.


'Seriously Nessa, please think about it." Allyson said to Vanessa as she stood up and was about to leave her room before Vanessa called her back.


Allyson was so happy when Vanessa called her back she immediately turned back and went to sit on the bed very close to Vanessa.


'But Allyson, what if I go back to Daniel and he does this again? What if this time around it becomes worse?" Vanessa complained to Allyson, in a very sad tone.


'Vanessa this is not the time to think of the worst and besides I don't think Daniel would do such a thing again." Allyson assured her.


'Why are you sounding like you are trying to take Daniel' side? Have you been talking to him or seeing him?" Vanessa asked Allyson curiously as she looked deeply into her eyes.


Allyson was not ready to answer the question because she knew she couldn't lie to Vanessa while looking her in the eye so she looked away.


'Allyson I am asking you a question, have you been meeting up with Daniel?"


'Nessa! Vanessa!"


'Allyson, can you please answer the question already?" Vanessa asked, curiously.


Allyson was so scared that she just couldn't lie to Vanessa.


'Yes, I met him yesterday when I stepped out, remember." Allyson replied to her.


'Really Allyson. So you now meet with Daniel behind my back."


'No, it was just once and that was yesterday."


'Okay let's say yes you met him just once and that was yesterday. What did the both of you talk about?"


'Nessa I swear I only met him yesterday and he begged me to plead with you so you could forgive him, that's all." Allyson explained to Vanessa as she tried touching her.


'Don't you even dare touch me. Why Allyson? I thought you were my bestie and you were at my side." Vanessa asked Allyson angrily.


'Vanessa calm down okay. If you want me to leave your room I will do so immediately so you can calm down a little." Allyson said to Vanessa as she stood up from the bed and was about to leave the room.


'Allyson stop this. You know I am not saying you should leave my room, it's still your house regardless."


'No Vanessa , I am actually not angry, I only want to leave you so you could think about the whole thing." Allyson said to her as she walked back inside the room.


Allyson came closer to her and knelt down in front of her, she held her hands and said to her.


'Vanessa, I want the best for you. I want to see you happy and I know that staying in my house and locking yourself up all day would not make you happy. You need to meet with Daniel and hear what he wants to say, then we would know the next step to take." Allyson advised Vanessa.


'Allyson, so you think meeting with Daniel is a good idea?" Vanessa asked Allyson, curiously.


'Yes Nessa, just hear him out. If you don't want to go back to him then it's okay we would look for an alternative or maybe terminate the contract."


'Terminate the contract?"


'Yes even if it would cause us a lot of problems we would have to do it because your mental state and your happiness comes first." Allyson advised.


Vanessa did say anything for a while and she tried rephrasing the whole thing in her head. She thought of the consequences, the termination of the contract would cost her.


'Nessa I think I would have to leave you to yourself so you could think properly about it and know if my advice for you is good or not. I will ask you tomorrow morning about your decision so think wisely okay." Allyson said to Vanessa as she exited the room.


'Okay Allyson, I will see you tomorrow. Good night." Vanessa replied.


She laid on the bed and thought carefully about it. Few hours later after so much deliberation and thought she came to a conclusion.


'I think it's better for me to go see him and hear what he has to say just like Allyson advised me earlier." She said to herself as she turned off the light and went to bed.
