###Chapter 44
Chapter 44
I prepared for the day quite early as I didn't sleep much.
I showered and got dressed.
After applying my vermilion, I stepped out of the room.
I met Aunt Indu in the kitchen.
"Namaste Aunt." I greeted
"Anthonia... I guess you had a great night huh?" She asked and last night fight with Aditi flooded my head and I sighed.
"I guess."
She must have noticed how dull I sounded.
"What's cooking?" I decided to ask to change the mood.

Later..

"I have a great surprise for Aditi and Anthoniathis morning." Father-in-law announced and I furrowed my brows glancing at Aditi who seemed to have picked interest in what surprise Father was talking about.
I was still serving Granny tho.
I really wonder what it is.
"Tell us Father." Janvi urged and Father-in-law laughed.
"Since Aditi and Anthoniagot married, they haven't had enough time to bond so I've decided to send them away for their honeymoon!" Father announced and the table turned to a centre of jubilation except for Aditi and I who had stunned faces then Diya.
"Father, what are you talking about?" Aditi asked.
"Your Father and I had it planned weeks ago but due to the festivities,we didn't break the news. It had to wait for today." Mother notified and I gulped.
"We don't need a honeymoon. Besides,I have firms to run." Aditi pressed.
"Deven, your uncles and I would handle it. You two would be leaving for Cancun city in Mexico on Sunday." Father concluded leaving me with a gasp.
A happy one...
I know Mexico a lot!
Mother and I lived there for a year.
I was fourteen then.
Aah!
"You seem happy Anthonia." Jaya noticed and I nodded.
"But not about the fact I'd be stuck with him..." I said sparing Aditi a glance as he did same.
"Then why?" Lara asked and I shrugged.
"Mexico is a part of me." I replied.
"Oh wow!" Janvi exclaimed.
"That's a good thing." Mother said.

"So... you'll be leaving in two days?" Kaeya asked and I nodded like she could see me.
"Yes.." I finally muttered.
"Awwwn.. finally! You two would have a whole week... together... alone!" She chuckled as I rolled my eyeballs.
I hated the sound of that.
"Don't get so giddy B. We both know ion want this one bit." I groaned.
"Don't worry Anthonia. Am certain something good would come out of this." Kaeya said and I scoffed.
"You wish.."
Kaeya only laughed.
"You'll see. Gotta go. Bye... Love you.." she cooed.
"Yeah. Love you too."
Anthonia POV
I visited Krish yesterday, and had fun lots of fun with her.
It's Sunday, today and so far...my or let me say....our travel tickets are ready.
It's past 4pm and our flight takes off by 7pm..
It would not be an easy journey as it takes twenty five hours from Delhi to Mexico, then two more hours to Cancun city which is a day and three hours journey.
Ugh!
Going to Mexico might be fun but stressful...
I had only showered and contemplated on what I'd wear.
Will I really arrive Mexico wearing a saree?
I guess...
I settled for a black lengha choli with part of my stomach and navel exposed, then I had my shawl across my neck.
My jewelries were not left out and in the end....I loved my appearance.

6pm....

*
Everyone was at the sitting room as Aditi and I luggages were taken out to the jeep.
"Take care my child." Granny advised and I nodded pulling her into a short hug then pulled away.
Mother walked to me and took my hands in hers staring into my eyes.
"Anthonia...since you joined this family, only good things happen. Everything seem so perfect but something is missing." She said and I furrowed my brows.
"The joyful laughter of children." She finally dropped the bomb and my eyes dilated in surprise.
"It's our wish today that you and Aditi bless this family with a child. Be it a boy or girl. I'd love to hold my grandchild before next year runs out. Promise me you'd fulfill our wish." Mother sighed placing my hand on her head with pleading eyes as I gasped.
"Mother..." Aditi called.
"Yes Aditi...I also want a great grandchild. At least before I die.." Granny said and I walked to her not minding Mother.
"Don't say that Granny. No one's dying. Neither would you..."
"Them promise us Anthonia..." Granny interrupted.
I gulped heavily.
No matter how hard I try to run from this marriage, something keeps dragging me back.
"Please Anthonia.." Mother sighed as I exhaled.
Oh heavens!
Diya POV
This isn't good.
If they succeed in making Anthoniaand Aditi promise the chances of winning Adi would be low.
No!
I have to stop this.
"I..."
"O my!..they are already running late. Six twenty." I gasped as everyone faced me.
"We'll see them off." Mr.Aniket said and that was how I ended the moment.
Victory!
Anthonia POV
They waved at us as the jeeps rolled out.
I sighed relaxing on the seat.
A part of me is thankful for the fact that Diya ended the moment.
I almost made the promise.
Hm...
I had the total of four guards following us all the way to Mexico.
No sooner,we were at the airport and got checked in before heading for the all ready set up air plane.

We were led to the VVIP section of the hotel which had a great view of the city.
"Have a nice time here. Good day." Ths attendant bowed and exited the suite.
I exhaled tucking loose strands of hair behind my ear facing Aditi.
He was unto a call.
Jeez!
I feel super exhausted.
We were lodged in a really large and classy suite.
I dragged myself to get freshened up.
The bathroom was so cool! But I was too tired to admire it.
I had a long bath and walked back to the room just in a white bathrobe I had seen there.
My head felt heavy and I plonked myself on the bed, giving in to my drowsy nature.
