Anthonia POV

As I approached the dining area Mother rushed to meet me.

"What's wrong with your leg Anthonia? You've been limping." Mother asked and I glanced at Aditi who stared back at me then looked away.

"It's nothing more than just a minor injury." I replied and walked over to sit beside Janvi.

"Anthoniadear,don't sit there." I heard Grandma say as we all looked at her.

"Diya." She called as Diya looked at her direction.
"Stand up and go sit next to Janvi. Anthoniawould be sitting next to Aditi from today hence." Grandma ordered and I gasped inwardly.

"Oh Granny…you think of only the best."Janvi cooed and planted a kiss on Granny's cheek.
Diya glared hard at me as she got off the seat and headed to sit next to Janvi while I headed to my new seat and rightful position.

As I sat next to Aditi,Diya obviously fumed.
I opted to serve but mother wouldn't let me and only said I should enjoy it.

Well…. breakfast went so well.
I missed homemade meals so much.

After breakfast, Aditi headed out to the office with Deven.
He didn't even wait till tomorrow.

Well… I'm now stuck with Janvi and the twins who eagerly want gists from the trip when I really didn't have one.

"Oh come on Anthonia. you can't tell me nothing has happened between you my hot brother for almost nine days!." Janvi exclaimed and I sighed.

"I'm being serious here. Mother had actually called to encourage us in getting close but I really don't want to." I replied.

"Why?" Jaya queried.

"Isn't it obvious?. Anthoniaand Adi never met before they got married and with the circumstances surrounding their union…. Anthoniacan't be blamed for not wanting to get close to him." Lara replied smartly and I felt so glad someone finally understands me.

"Forget about that. I'd love to see your pictures you took over there." Janvi chipped in and I nodded, opening my cell phone and connecting it to my laptop.

"OMG! you really dress like this over there?" Janvi asked in shock.

" Yes."I replied and watched as they scanned all my pictures.

" I have a super hot in-law." Jaya screamed.

"You are so weird, Anthonia. Why wear a saree now?" Janvi asked.

"Am in India now duhh." I replied with a chuckle.

"Look here Lara, she's curvy than Diya." I heard Jaya say and I grinned.

Days Later…

Anthonia POV

"Anthonia?."
I got off the couch and scuttled to pull her into a long hug while being careful not to hurt her now growing stomach.

"My little sister is so grown now." Krishi chuckled .

" Stop teasing me Krishi. We saw each other two weeks ago." I chuckled.

"Do I look like I care? Seems like you really enjoyed Mexico." She said and I smiled.

"How's my niece?" I asked and she laughed.

"What makes you think it's a girl?"Krishi asked and I shrugged.

"Felt it…"
"You're home alone?" I asked.

"Not really. Vidya's home." she replied.

Vidya is Krish's 23 years old sister-in-law and according to how Krishi talks about her, she is an awesome lady.

"Well… good for us…we have all day to spend together." I notified.

"Cool.."she chuckled.

Monday…
Time; 7 a.m.
Location; Singh's Mansion.

Anthonia POV

First day of resumption and I am already running late.
I picked up my school bag which is actually new and black in colour.

I took one last long look at myself and made an exit.

"Anthoniadear, come on ..over here
" I heard Mother calling and I walked over to meet her.

"We will be having a family prayer today and it would be nice if you led it.''she notified and I muttered an 'oh' and dropped my bag on the couch and took the prayer plate from her.

We both headed to a part of the sitting-room.
It was a bounded corner at the end of the sitting room having items meant for prayer.
The goddess statue,burning lamps and a lot more.

The entire family including Aditi was there and in no time, the prayer began.

It soon came to an end and I gave everyone prayer offerings.

I was about to leave the area when Mother asked me to wait.
She took up a small golden bottle jar and gave it to Aditi.

"Take this and apply it on her son." Mother said and Aditi opened it to see it contained vermillion.

I felt my heart do multiple painful flips. Mother indirectly wants Aditi to renew our wedding vows.

" Go on Grandson. It poses good luck for your relationship. Normally,you are meant to apply it on her daily but I don't need a soothsayer to tell me you don't." Granny spoke up.

"Seriously? is it necessary?"Aditi asked, obviously irritated, making me slightly arch a brow.

He is acting as if I really want to comply with this.

"Go on Aditi. Listen to them." Aunt Indu urged.

Aditi brushed his fingers through his hair and walked to where I stood.

I rolled my eyes looking away.
He took a pinch of the vermilion and I felt his thumb and index finger brush backwards directly in the middle part of my hair.

I felt the hairs in my body stand as in memory of our wedding flooded in.
He handed the bottle back to Mother and walked away immediately.

I let out a sigh tucking loose hair behind my ear.

" I will leave now." I was notified and made an exit.

By the time I had gotten out my ride was already waiting.

"Namaste Ma'am." my escorts greeted me but I was not in the mood to reply as I got in.

I headed straight to my class block after alighting the jeep.

It was the first day of school after two to three weeks and everyone seemed excited to see each other.

Along the hallway I heard a very familiar laughter and looked up at Nathasha and her friends.
They seem to be so engrossed in whatever they were talking about to see me and it was a huge relief.

"B!" I heard a loud squeal and I turned to see Kaeya.

She was running towards me and in no time,she trapped me into one of her greatest hugs and I received it.

"Gosh Anthonia!" she exclaimed as we disengaged.

" Did you miss me?" I asked with a chuckle and she hit my head

"That question is stupid. Of course I missed you dummy." she replied and I smiled.

"I got your request.'' I noticed and her eyes shone with excitement.

"Oh my word! Really!?" She shrieked.

"Yeah. We'll check it out later. For now… let's get to class and settle down." I suggested.

"Yeah…true…. you really do have a lot of gists for me." Kaeya agreed and I only shook my head.

Nathasha's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Anthonia.
The wealth of the Singh's family is really rubbing off on her.

As I passed a class, I heard cooes of girls and decided to ignore them as it would be only about boys and Aditi especially.

" I am certain my cousin enjoyed his honeymoon with her. Sincerely, Anthoniais the best sister in law ever."

I froze up on hearing Jaya's voice.
She was busy praising Anthonia!.

In a few months,the entire family already likes her.
Imagine three months from now, Aditi by then would be wrapped around her finger.

"I am this close to becoming an Aunt." she carried on.

"Gosh Jaya…you are lucky. Tho Aditi was once my crush but I prefer him for Anthonia. They are a perfect fit." A girl spoke up.

Aargh!!
