Diana Pov

"Despite how late someone is,she is still perming up." I heard Delia snigger and they laughed.

"Did you girls by any chance take the dorm mistress soya milk again?" I asked and they giggled.

"Abigail was the one who brought it." Denise said followed by a loud smack and an 'ow' from Denise while Delia kept laughing.

I shook my head after fixing my badge then headed out leaving my crazy friends.

I walked hastily towards the school auditorium as I noticed the place bustling with excitement.

So many cars filled the parking area and the graduating students took lots of pictures in groups or alone.

"Hey! That's the girl who took over from Sam." I heard a senior say.

"Junior!" A call followed and I had to reply.

"Good morning." I greeted with my most polite smile.

"Yeah. Do you mind taking a picture with us?" The girl requested.

Wow!
I nodded shyly and the girls soon swarm alover me like bees.

I watched each and every senior go out for their certificates and prizes if any.

Soon enough, a long talk based on what they should expect in the world was given.

"Look at us,we get to listen to this amazing talk twice." Ryan who had been sitting by my side said to me and I chuckled.

So true..

I and Ryan were made to give a farewell speech after the previous president and assistant gave their speech.

Ryan intelligently gave them the best farewell speech ever as if he had been practicing it for years.

The graduation ended and each class headed for different places in the premises to host their parties with their parents in support of the school.

Class A had the large gym space as the place was transformed greatly, Class B had the basketball court as they were few and Class C had the football field.

"Our turns is so near." Ryan said as we strolled along the car park which was filled up so much and lots of escorts filled the place following every parent and ward.

"I can't believe we are partial seniors already." I said and Ryan chuckled.

"Yeah." He replied.

A girl or let me say outgoing student putting on a seductive black dress stopped before Ryan.

"Hey Ryan.." she said in a slurry tone and bit her lower lip.

I glanced at Ryan to see him scanning her seriously.

"Oh! Hello to you. My successor." She waved .

The ex assistant president and head girl.

She faced Ryan and began to talk to him obviously seducing him.

"I will have to lend him for a while." She said to me and pulled Ryan with her as he followed her like a robot


"Maybe you need tips on how to hold him tight." I heard a girl say and I turned in shock to see a very pretty blondie with pretty green hazel eyes.

Her skin was so rich and flawless.

Her shape, totally a killer shape.

She had a casual outfit on.
Blue plain pleated skirt stopping mid thigh and a baggie black long sleeved shirt tucked in only at the front.

Where the h*ll did she fall out of?

"Who..who are you?" I stuttered and she scoffed.

"It really doesn't matter." She said and circled me once giving me a deep scan.

"Still have his crazy taste huh" she stated and I furrowed my brows.

She stood before me and folded her arms.

"That snake just led your man away and you stood like a statue, unable to do anything so I thought you would need some tips on how to hold him tight." She began and I scoffed.

"Who the h*ll are you? And he isn't my boyfriend. He is dating Anthonia." I snapped and she rolled her eyeballs.

"That b*tch doesn't deserve a sweetheart like Ryan. Darling,that dude is a Playboy that penetrates every skirt and let the owner of the skirt go after a few days like a piece of rag but he's changed. It would be sickening if that snake get to have a taste of him cause her advances towards him is annoying for a year and half now. So I will advise you to hurry and get your man before it's too late." She said.

"He's not dating me okay!?" I retorted.

"Bambi!" I heard a call and we turned to see a girl dressed so chicky like the one before me waving.

"I have got to go." She said and walked off leaving me stunned.
Who is this girl?

She definitely can't be a student of this school but then, she knows so much.

I eye scanned the surrounding but he wasn't in sight.
Could that strange girl be righ

I began to think of where I could possibly find them and gave up soon enough.

I let out a weak sigh and headed for my dorm.

Ryan Pov

"I know you also want me like I do. Why don't you just grant this wish of mine? At least, a farewell gift." She purred, caressing my chest.

"You need to stop this Samantha. I can't get you laid, you have a boyfriend and besides,we are in school. Look, whatever charm I must have affected you without knowing, I am sorry for it but I can't." I said pulling her off me but she was too clingy.

"Please Ryan..just this once and I wouldn't bother you. After all, I will be leaving tomorrow." She pleaded and I groaned.

Diana Pov

It was almost 5pm and I had already gotten ready for the movie date.

No one has knocked on the room door since I got ready.
Ryan had told me he would send a student to me.

I sighed almost giving up when I heard a knock on the door.
I quickly checked it to see a student from between grade 7 to 9 due to her statue.

She was sent by Ryan.
I closed the door and did final arrangements to my dressing before heading out.

Ryan was leaning on the pillar when I got out and he stood up straight on seeing me.

"Hey!" He hailed and I only nodded then we began walking away from the dorm area.

The walk to the movie hall was quiet as many questions filled my head.

We arrived the building, showed our passes and headed in.

We took burgers and soda at the snack machine before getting seated.

In a short while,the movie began.
I ate my burger absently as thoughts if Ryan laying that girl flooded my mind.

"Are you okay?" I heard Ryan ask and I looked at him with questioning eyes.

"Where did you two go?" I blurted and he arched a brow.

I let out a sigh at how foolish I was.

"Sorry." I muttered looking away but he took hold of my face as our eyes locked.

"The orchard." Ryan said and my eye squinted.

"She led me there."He added and I felt the next question forcing it's way through my lips.

"Did you two..." My words hanged and he shook his head.

"We didn't. She tried seducing me but I didn't.."
"I swear." He assured me and I only nodded.

Now I am feeling so much like a fvcking jealous girlfriend.

We both faced the movie enjoying it so much.

I felt so relaxed and happy.
I couldn't decide why I felt so happy.

Is it because they didn't go over the border or the movie date?

I sighed slowly, earning a glance from Ryan.

Diana Pov

We were practicing hard for a game that would take place after our examination and a cheer stunt we practiced was Show 'n Go where a flyer would be tossed in the air and would make a pose before being caught again by the bases.

I was among the bases until Anthonia switched me to being the flyer!

"I'm scared of falling." I said and she scoffed.

"If you eventually fall then you would stand up besides, you aren't the only flyer. Bell and Cheryl aren't robots so get into position." Anthonia concluded and I sighed.

"Immediately after four throws, the flyers and bases are to switch to transitions. This time, Cheryl and Bell would hold up Diana while the rest remain bases." She further said

Seriously!?
We began with basic cheerleading stunts as we chanted.

"Let's get physical. Get down, get hard, get mean. Let's get physical and beat that other team!."

Then we moved to the Show'n Go stunts as we switched chants except for us the flyers who didn't bother to make a chant.

"Yeah, Yeah! Do we rock?. Yeah, Yeah!. Take it to the top?. Yeah, Yeah!. Are we gonna stop? No way!."

"Come on Royal Stars, what's your battle cry?" Anthonia chanted as we climbed.

"V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!. Victory! Royal Stars!".

The cheerleaders chanted.

"S for Super!"

At that chant, the bases threw the flyers in the air as we touched our toes and fell back into the bases hold.

"U for Unique!"

We flipped and fell back as the chant carried on.

"P for Perfect! Cause you know we are sweet."

Flip...

"E for Enthusiasm".

Flip!.

"R for Rap! So come on all you Elite fans! And Super Sonic stands back!"

I was thrown into the air but with so much force and I began to land, not into their hold but feets away.

I screamed crazily shutting my eyes as I fell with a loud thud.

My entire body began to ache badly as I sensed everyone gather me.

"Diana!" I heard Jane shriek as I groaned loudly.

"Diana. Are you okay?" I heard another girl asked.

"Excuse me!" I heard a male voice and someone squatted next to me.

"Diana..can you hear me?" I heard.
The voice sounded so familiar but my pains seemed to have blocked my senses.

In a jiffy, I was lifted into a pair of arms while I groaned in deep pains not wanting to open my eyes.

In no time, I began to perceive antiseptic odours and I groaned.

I could hear distant voices and rushing feets

In a while, my body made contact with a bed as I groaned.
It hurts!

"How did she fall?" I heard a lady asked.

"During cheerleading. The fall was mighty and she seem to be hurting real bad." I heard Ryan said.

Ryan!?

"Diana? Diana,if you can hear me, tell me when it hurts if I touch you." I heard the lady said and she began my touching my feet, then my ankle area up to my leg, and thigh...

"Ow!" I yelped as my right thigh began to ache badly.

She went up to my hip bone and I let out an agonizing scream.

"What's wrong Doctor?" I heard Ryan asked as I groaned endlessly.

"I think something is wrong with her hip. I will prepare her for an X-ray." I heard the lady replied.

I still didn't open my eyes.
I guess the test was done and I was back in the ward.

I was awake, I could hear and feel but couldn't part my eyelids.

I couldn't even move.

"According to the x-ray test,she dislocated her right hip bone and sprained her right wrist. The reason for her lack of movement is due to temporary paralysis which might lady for some hours or a day. Hopefully,of will not become severe. I will call a masseuse to come massage her bones in place although it would be really painful." The lady said.

No! No!

#Later...

Ryan Pov

I gulped as I walked back into the ward.

Diana's clothing had been taken off and she was dressed in a patient gown.

The lady nurse took out the items she used in wiping Diana's body before she would return to commence the massage.

Diana laid still and I could see the pained expression in her face.

The nurse returned with a massage oil and I sat on a chair next to Diana carefully taking her left hand in mine.

"You need to be strong for me Diana. Please." I pleaded and kissed her hand tenderly.

The nurse lifted the gown up to her hip and I had to fix my gaze on Diana's face, not after noticing how red and swollen that area of her thigh had become.

The nurse began her work , massaging Diana's thigh and hip as Diana's face crumpled deeply in obvious pain and she groaned.

In no time, the groan changed into great agonizing screams which tore my heart apart.

I reached and caressed her face tenderly as she yelled and groaned and screamed.

"Am so sorry Diana. Sorry." I muttered as my eyes grew hot and filled with tears.

The screams died down to groans as tears streaked out of her closed eyes.

She was crying...

Abigail Pov

We had gotten into the ward to meet an unconscious Diana screaming in pains and Ryan who was at her side didn't notice us.

The massage moved to her wrist leading to another round of pained screams.

Denise was already crying and Delia tried to comfort her but ended up in tears.

I swallowed the large lump in my throat as I watched the painful massage that lasted for so long.

When it finally came to an end, Diana was red alover and was letting our soft groans.

The nurse injected something into Diana's drip before leaving and we rushed to the bed.

That was when Ryan took notice of us.



Diana Pov

Pains... Pains... That was all I felt as my hot tears never seized.

Ryan was still by my side and soon, I heard the sad voices of my friends.

"Oh Diana! Look at how hurt you are." Denise groaned and I could hear sobs all around me.

I know I will be fine..

Slowly, I was pulled into a much darker world as I grew extra weak and the voices became distant but my brain captured a hushed statement.

"I love you." It surely belonged to someone.

Ryan Pov

I watched her sobbing friends who touched her carefully.

"How did this happen?" One asked_ Delia and I sighed.

"She fell during practice after been thrown carelessly" I replied as anger swelled up in me towards those bases.

"Diana is is stubborn. How many more accidents would she have before she quit cheerleading?" Denise groaned.

"How long would she be asleep?" Abigail queried and I sighed.

"All Night and maybe throughout tomorrow. She is suffering from temporary paralysis and dislocated bones." I notified and they groan tiredly.

"I will stay with her tonight." Delia said and the girls supported her.

"No. I will do that instead." I offered and Denise scoffed.

"What more do you want from Diana? Your girlfriend obviously plotted this to her and you are here playing Saint. Listen Mister. Handsome, let out friends be. Leave her the fvck alone! For goodness sake! You are totally bad news for her!" Denise snapped, stunning me to the core.

"Yes! Your presence around her endangers her more so let her be." Delia added.


"Look,we are only looking out for our friend. Just let her be. She has suffered enough already. Pay attention to your girlfriend." Abigail concluded

"Thanks for caring anyway. You may leave." Denise snapped and I sighed staring at Diana as I got up on my feet.

Am sorry for all the pains I must have caused you all these while.
Am truly sorry..

Abigail Pov

The door closed as Ryan stepped out and I let out a sigh.

Everything just doesn't feel right.
Could Anthonia have caused this?

It can't be possible.
She can't be so cruel to that extent.

Ryan Pov

I felt so restless.
I needed to see Diana and know if she has finally woken up.

But I know I can't go there else, those friends of hers would tear me apart.

I got a crazy idea and grinned happily.
Finally would get to see Diana.

I stepped into the ward as Diana still laid motionless on the bed.

I occupied the vacant seat next to her a carefully caressed her face.

"When will you wake up Diana?" I asked with a sigh.

The news of her accident had gone viral in the school as everyone wished for her speedy recovery.

A low groan emitting from her lips made me stunned as she opened her eyes.
