###Chapter 29
Chapter 29
4pm
Anthonia POV
I gave Mum a long hug then took blessings from Father.
I gave Nathasha and Jeet a short glance before heading into my ride.
I had to leave based on the fact that I needed to get back home and join in preparation of dinner.
The ride to the mansion was a long smooth one.
The jeeps rolled in and I noticed Aditi's jeeps were in the premises.
Jeez!
He is back...
A guard opened the jeep door and I stepped out then headed in.
No one was in the sitting room when I arrived.
I headed up for the room and the more steps I took, I became nervous.
Ugh!
Is it cause of Aditi?
Psst!
I ought not to be nervous else he would take me for granted.
I opened the door and stepped in only to get welcomed by an awful smell.
I coughed waving off heavy smoke.
My eyes widened in shock at the horrific sight.
Aditi was by Feb window smoking profusely!
"What the h*ll!" I blurted out as he let out mass of smoke then scoffed.
Jeez!
The entire room was smoke filled and an asthma patient wouldn't be able to survive this.
Why would he be smoking this much?
I dropped my purse and began to lift the curtains for the window as I opened it wide to let the smoke go out.
I headed for the next window where Aditi stood and did the same thing as he kept smoking.
I stared at his expressionless face for while.
How can he smoke this much?
He was about to draw more smoke when I snatched it from him throwing it on the floor and crushed it with my shoe before glaring hard at him.
"What's wrong with you huh!?" I snapped.
"Do you plan on choking me? For goodness sake Aditi..this is wrong!" I ranted as he only stared at me.
He doesn't even feel sorry.
He turned heading for the bed as he sat down and picked up a pack of cigarette taking out a stick then litted it to my surprise and he drew out smoke then let it out slowly.
"You should head for the kitchen Anthonia. This is no time for your big mouth." He finally said... coldly.
I got the chills.
What happened?
My tongue itched to ask but...
"Anthonia!" I heard Janvi call from outside the door as I glanced at it.
I gave Aditi a short glance then headed out.
"O my! You smell smoke." Janvi sighed and squeezed her face.
"Don't tell me Aditi is up at it again." She said almost immediately as I shot her a state.
"Is he always like that?" I asked and she nodded.
O my!
So many questions ran through my mind but I never got the chance to ask as Aunt Shyla came for us.
I will ask her later.

Everyone were at teh table including Aditi.
Mother-in-law, Aunts and I did the serving.
Janvi did a short gasp jaming her palms together.
"What is it Janvi?" Mr Samrat asked.
"Holi festival is coming up!" She announced.
"Oh!.." Everyone sighed.
"True Janvi." Jaya agreed.
"Am sure gonna shop for it." Lara added.
"Yeah. You know" Janvi chuckled as they both exchanged silly stares and I scoffed amused.
"Remember you wear white on Holi so what's the use of shopping? Ladies.." Deven scoffed.
"Sigh ." Lara and Jaya chroused as everyone laughed except Aditi.
Hm..
"You know,it would be Anthonia's first Holi in this family." Granny spoke up and everyone agreed.
"Am certain it's going to be one of her favourite festivals." Jaya said giving me a wink as I smiled.
I wasn't really moved by their talks as I thought if how to ask Janvi on why Aditi smokes and drinks so much.
I barely touched my dinner before heading to freshen up.
Aditi was at the balcony making a call by the time I was through bathing.
I packed my hair into a messy bun and headed out of the room heading for Janvi's room.
I needed answers.
I placed a slight knock on her door and next thing, it opened revealing her face which litted up on seeing me.
"Com'on in Anthonia!" She beamed opening the door further and I stepped in.
Her air conditioning welcomed me well.
I loved the way her room was... so- girlie.
She is my age mate and still living her teenage life well.
Unlike me, eighteen and already married.
We both sat on her soft bed.
"So tell me, on what do I own this visit?" She asked with a wide smile and I chuckled.
"Nothing serious Janvi. Just wanted to know um...." I paused as she stared at me.
"Why does Aditi smoke and drink alot?" I asked and she smrinked then exhaled.
"Well, let's say travelling far and wide influenced him. He is so used to smoking, drinking, clubbing and most importantly, playing. Like using girls and dumping them. He is a s*x freak." Janvi said to my surprise.
"He does all that?" I muttered.
"Yeah. Whenever he drinks, smokes or go clubbing too much, then something is up with him. But am certain he would be fine by morning. Honestly Anthonia, I believe you are capable of changing my brother." She said and I rose my brows stunned.
"Yes Anthonia. I know this is a force marriage but something good can come out of it. Aditi isn't as bad as people think he is . He hates lies, and doesn't joke with what he loves. He is a nice guy but too grumpy,cold... Ugh!" She groaned shaking her head as I chuckled lightly.
"Thanks for the information Janvi." I sighed.
"No problem Anthoniaand also take note. He has got a bad temper." She added and I nodded standing up.
"Thanks. Good night Janvi." I waved and headed for the door.
Her words niggled me.
If he smokes and drinks too much cause of something then what could that be?
I exhaled lowly.
I don't even know why am caring so much about it...as long as am concerned,am not happy about this marriage I am stuck in.
I seriously can't wait to gain my freedom tho,it would prove impossible.
I walked into the room to meet Aditi who was already asleep and the pillows dimacated the bed as usual.
I stared at him for a while before heading to lay down on my own side of the bed.

Next Day
1pm
I had earlier woken up to meet an empty bed... neither was Aditi around for breakfast.
Hm..
According to Jaya,he had gone to the office.
I carefully alighted the long beautiful stairs admiring how large the mansion is.
I think a little exploration would do.
♠♠♠♠
I visited so many rooms using many turns and hallways I couldn't believe were in the mansion.... downstairs.
I arrived a large room having tall shelves stuck to the wall with an open space in the middle containing relaxing couches, reading desks and more....a typical library.
I had a great time going through few books especially novels.
When I finally glanced at the clock in the room,it was almost 4pm.
"I guess it's time to head for the kitchen." I muttered.
After keeping back the book I was with,I turned and headed out of the room into the short hallway then I came across another path....left and right..
I began to wonder which path I had taken to get here then itched my hair in confusion.
"Did I come here with this way or that way?" I muttered to myself.
"No..left." I headed for left but stopped.
"No! I think right.." I turned heading for right but stopped again.
"Wait! Maybe left..." I turned again.
Writer's POV
This went on for a very long time that Anthoniabecome scared and it dawned on her.... she was lost!
Inside the mansion!
She was still in her confused state when someone showed up.
She turned only to see..... Aditi!
Her heart missed a beat as she stared at him.
He had met her muttering words like a crazy lady and stared at her in surprise.
"What are you doing here?" He demanded and she scoffed rolling her eyeballs.
"Am dancing. Jeez! What a dumb question." She sneered to his amazement.
She was speaking to him rudely without a tiny hint of fear!.
Anthoniarolled her eyeballs turning deciding to go left so she could leave him to mope about.
Aditi scoffed shaking his head then headed for the library.
Later.....
Dinner time came and Anthoniawasn't atvteh table.
"She's not upstairs Mother." Janvi announced arriving the table.
Aditi scoffed sipping from his juice.
She probably must have gotten lost around the mansion...he thought.
He's definitely not going to let anybody know... probably to teach her a lesson.
*Aditi... where's your wife?" Mr Aniket demanded and he shrugged.
"You all know I have got a crazy girl for a wife so she could be anywhere...I have no idea." He defended himself plainly.
