###Chapter 54

Chapter 54

Anthonia POV

The day went by pretty fast, probably because I had slept almost all through the day after getting back from the mall.

Aditi wasn't around when I returned.
Hm..

It was way past 7pm and I was certain we were leaving soon enough.

I changed into a sky blue saree that was definitely looking expensive.
My ornaments weren't left out and so was my vermilion.

I wore a stylish black flip flop due to my injury.
While I arranged my hair, the room door opened and Aditi stepped in with the guards who carried our luggages out.

I carefully stood up leaning all my weight on my good left foot.
Aditi didn't even spare me a glance as he operated on his phone and walked out leaving me with a guard.

I soon followed suit and out of the building to where the jeeps are .

The ride to the airport was long and quiet…as usual with Aditi not looking away from his phone screen.

We arrived the airport pretty early and had to wait for an hour before our plane was announced.

Once settled in,I let out a low breath looking out of the window.

The preparation to welcome Aditi and Anthoniawas being made.
The twins and I were in charge of preparing their room in the most 'romantic' way ever.

I got a text from Anthoniathat they were about to board the plane so they will be arriving by morning, latest 5 to 6am.

Gosh!
Am so excited to have Anthoniaback because I miss her so much!

"Com'on Jaya, get me the flower petals." I requested scanning the room.

Diya POV

It felt as if the Lord was about to descend.
Aunt Indu and Aunt Shyla had already gone to the market to get some groceries as they planned on preparing Adi and that girls' favorite meal.
Ugh!

Everyone kept talking about how they miss Anthoniaand hoped to hear some great news soon enough.

"Come here Diya….come help me set the prayer plate." Mother requested and I sighed heavily and headed to go meet her.

Anthonia POV

If there was a word greater than being tired then I would gladly use it.
I felt so exhausted but not like the day we travelled to Mexico.
I sat in a plane for more than 20 hours!.

"Son!" I lifted my weary head to see father-in-law and uncle who walked to where we stood.

"Good morning Dad, good morning Uncle." Aditi greeted and they chuckled patting his back.

"Welcome son." Father-in-law said and faced me.

"Namaste Father."I greeted palming my hands and he gave me a bright smile.
"My dear…" He beamed and I bent touching his feet and that of Mr Aniket.

"Welcome Anthonia." Mr Aniket said as I smiled.

"Come on.. everyone awaits." Father urged and we moved on.

Location; Singh Mansion

As the jeeps rolled in, I took in the sights of the premises.

Just one week and a few days away from home everything felt so different.

The guards rushed to open the door for us as we are alighted and headed for the entrance.

The door opens from inside revealing Mother's smiley face.

"Bring the prayer plates." She requested smiling at us and soon enough our welcome ritual began.

Mother moved the tray in a circular motion before us and applied right colour dots on our foreheads then sprinkle yellow flower petals at us as did the rest of the family.

She finally gave Deven the plates and pulled us both into her arms in a motherly embrace.

"Welcome home…"

"Brother!" Janvi rushed at us pulling Aditi into a great hug as he only smiled.

"I missed you and your grumpy self so much." She whined and I giggled.

"Oh Anthonia…"she exclaimed, hugging me too.
"You really have a lot to gist me." she said pulling away and winked at me as I gasped.

The twins welcomed us, so did Deven and Grandma.
I missed them all so much!.

We were led to the house and offered seats.

"Adi…" I turned the see scuttling to where we stood, walked past me and hugged Aditi tightly.
I watched in surprise as he lifted his arms to hold her waist.

"I missed you so much." she cooed and I scoffed.

She was still hugging him and no one objected.

What was I expecting?
Diya is so close to them, but Aditi is my husband.

"I missed you a lot more dear." Aditi finally replied saying disengaging from her.

"Seriously Adi… you forgot my birthday."Diya said with a pout and I scoffed getting irritated.

Aditi cupped her cheeks as they held gazes.

"I'm so sorry treasure. I was so busy with work. I promise to make up for it." Aditi apologized and she smriked.

" All right now. That's enough. Don't forget my grandson is married." Grandma spoke up and everyone laughed.
I didn't find it funny one bit.

"Go on now you two. Go freshen up and I'll set the table." Mother urged and I sighed making an exit.

I tiredly opened the room door and walked in searching for the light switch and finally turned it on.

"Whoa!" I marveled and I heard the door closed.
I turned to see Aditi and faced the view before me again.

The bedding was deep red, so was the duvet and I could see rose petals on the bed and a bouquet of white roses around giving the room is sweet scent.

I smiled brightly.
Definitely Janvi's idea.
I heard Aditi scoffed.

"Girls.."

I rose a brow and turned to stare at him.

"It's pretty yunno." I said but got no reply as he began taking off his jewelry before heading to the bathroom.

I shrugged lifting my suitcase and unzipped it as as I began to unpack my things keeping them in place including the clothes I had bought in Mexico I'll give them to Janvi later..
