Anthonia's POV

. I walked in tiredly almost the same time with Laura and Jaya.

I quickly headed up to my room so I could freshen up.

Luckily, Aditi wasn't back.
Great!.
Everyone has been hoping that one of these days I and Aditi will get along even if it's to have a little talk but too bad it can't happen.

All I just want to happen is to get a divorce from this hellhound.

I took of my uniform and went into the bathroom.

"Our school interhouse sports competition is coming up next week Saturday right Anthonia?" Jaya announced and I only nodded that with a light smile then continued with serving.

"That's great! Anthonia..what are you participating in." Mum-in-law asked.

"Marathon race mother." I replied as sweet as I could and I noticed everyone pull on a stunned faced.

"You can run?" Father-in-law asked amazed.

"Er... yeah.."I replied confused and glanced at Aditi to see him rolling his eyeballs.

Whatever!

"That's cool!. Adi... your wife can run! I'll definitely attend the event." Janvi exclaimed.

"We're all going..." Father-in-law added.

"Except me...as usual.." we all heard Aditi say in an icy tone as he sipped from his juice.

I paused in serving for a moment staring.
Huh?
I scoffed.

It's even much better.
Who does he think he is?

Everyone kept watching me till I sat down to eat probably expecting me to baby-talk Aditi into attending but I ignored them.

"Son...it's important for you to be there. Especially over the fact that your wife would be participating in the games." Mum-in-law finally spoke up but Aditi didn't say anything until dinner was over.

I helped in taking the dishes to the kitchen.

"Hey! Anthonia..." Janvi hailed walking into the kitchen.

"Yeah...hi.." I replied with a light smile.
"Look...am sorry my brother acted so stupid back at the table but truthfully,it's always been like that. He hates attending school functions." Janvi notified to my surprise.

He hates attending school functions?
Hm...
None of my business tho.

I shrugged.

"He's free to suit himself." I replied nonchalantly and I could clearly see shock written alover her face.

"Hold on Anthonia.. you aren't affected?" She asked and I scoffed.

*Why should I?"

"Jeez! You are married to a man like Aditi and the fact that he won't attend such event doesn't even bother you? Wow." She exclaimed.

"You are definitely the right person to calm my brothers' madness." Janvi grinned and I smiled lightly

"Thanks Janvi. Let's forget about this topic and talk about your school. What's popping?....."

Anthonia POV

I was jogging on a spot when someone pushed me lightly from behind and I staggered to keep my balance.

The h*ll!?
I turned ready to release my venom only to see Nathasha!
Huh?

She grinned at me and stood akimbo.
"Can see you're practicing so hard but what's the use?..." She freed her arms and slowly went around me.

"...when your husband wouldn't even show up..."
She added with sarcasm and I clenched my fists.

"Or...am I lying?" She paused staring into my eyes fearlessly.

How did she get such any idea?
She let out a soft chuckle.
I seriously can't let her have fun in ridiculing me.

"And whoever said he wouldn't come huh?" I blurted and she pulled on a stunned face and I smirked.

"If you want.... I'd make him come. He's my husband..." I added with pure pride and I could feel the heat of her rage then suddenly.....

"Everyone...! Attention! Attention please!." Nathasha called out drawing every single attention to us.
Huh?

"Guys! Anthoniajust said she'd be able to get India's superstar Aditi who is her husband to attend our schools inter-house sports festival. Isn't that great!?" Nathasha announced to my horrific surprise and joyful murmurs began.

Nathasha faced me with a wide smirk.
"We'll be waiting for Mr. Popular....Mrs.Popular.." she at me and cat walked away .

What just happened!?

I quickly headed for my class to get a quiet time.

"Anthonia!.." I heard a surprise call and lifted my head off the desk to see Kaeya.

"What happened out there? I heard you... you agreed to making Aditi come to the event." She said and I exhaled tiredly.

"I didn't bargain for that Kaeya. Nathasha did." I said and she gasped.

"She had come to taunt me and out of pride... or maybe anger...yes... anger, I bragged about getting Aditi to attend the event and Nathasha yelled it out to the school." I narrated.

"This is so not good, Anthonia." Kaeya said.

"We both know he wouldn't attend the event and now the news is all over the school that he would be coming and you sure don't want to disappoint the school now do you?"

"Kaeya....are you trying to help me or what?" I snapped and got off my seat.

"I'll have to find a way to get Aditi to attend this event... I have to." I said with determination and Kaeya sighed.

I walked into the room slowly closing the door behind me.

Aditi was on a couch operating on his laptop and smoking.

I rolled my eyeballs and exhaled.
I really have to get Aditi to attend this function no matter what.
I can't lose to Nathasha...no way!

I headed for the wardrobe and took out a night dress before heading to change in the bathroom for a change.

I stepped out when I was done and headed to where he sat contemplating on how to get him to attend.

A sassy attitude won't help now ....can it?

I cleared my throat.
"Aditi..." I called but got no response except for the tapping of buttons.

I rolled my eyeballs since he couldn't see me.
If he doesn't want to answer, I'll still talk anyway.

"Aditi... about my school function....." I began then paused to watch his expression but he didn't seem shaken, not even for a bit.

"..I need you to attend it..." I further added and he took the stick up to his lips drawing some smoke then he let it out slowly out of his nostrils and lips.

I was forced to scoff.
Seriously!?

How can a guy this handsome...no!
Am I seriously admiring him?

He shut down the laptop and dropped the stick on the ash tray then got up to his feet with a glass of spirit I didn't notice sat on the table before.

He walked to the window staring out as he drank from it and I took my time to scan his figure since he wasn't facing me.

Quite some hair he's got, and his broad shoulders and perfect muscular figure...

I slapped my head.
So he's now really going to snob me huh?

He turned leaving the window replacing the glass on the table next to me not even sparing me a glance then headed for the bed personally dividing it and got comfy on his side.

"Turn off the lights when you are done." He finally spoke up and I was left stunned.

What did he just do!?

I scoffed finding it all surprising.
Aditi just.... acted as if I wasn't talking to him.
Aargh!

"Arrogant id*ot." I muttered under my breath as I stomped my way to my side of the bed.
Hmph!
