###Chapter 69
Chapter 69
Everyone was at Granny's ward except the men.
Deven was the only one present.
The Doctor had earlier told them the result was out.
Janvi was at her bedside when the Doctor walked in.
"Good morning everyone." She greeted with a smile and everyone glanced at her direction as she walked in and moved to examine her patient.
"How is she Doctor?" Aditi's Mother asked.
"No improvement so far. Like we said, prayers are needed." The Doctor replied.
*That won't work." Diya thought with an eye roll.
A sad sigh went across the room.
"How about the result?" Janvi asked eagerly.
She was scared.
She hoped the prints found wouldn't be that of Anthonia.
Maybe there wouldn't be any print at all.
"Oh…yes. The result." The Doctor said and glanced at Diya's side before handing over a small white envelope to Aditi's Mother who opened it.
She quickly glanced through it and her brows furrowed.
Shyla took the paper from her.
"What does that mean?" Aditi's Mother asked.
"Well….there was no print found on her body that must have caused the fall." The Doctor said and Diya's eyes grew wide and she scoffed inwardly.
"No way." Diya said.
"No print was found? Then how was she pushed?" Diya asked through clenched teeth.
"I don't know. The culprit will tell." The Doctor replied as Diya glared at her for a short while.
"Could it be Anthonia's innocent?" Mother asked and the silence in the room was tense.

Location: Prison.
Three days and still counting.
It was just last week she finally found the true meaning of love…but the universe definitely was against it.
She felt cold…sad…guilty.
She didn't push Granny but she felt guilty.
She was unable to help the poor woman.
"Hey!" One of the inmates snapped and Anthonia raised her head to see the supposed boss of the cell.
She was standing before Anthonia.
"Stand up. I need a massage." She ordered and Anthonia furrowed her brows.
Did she hear her well?
She decided to ignore and rest her head again on her legs which she hugged.
A sudden grip met her hair as she screamed in shock and pain.
"I am still talking to you b!tch!" The inmate snapped and dragged Anthonia up on her feet with her hair as she struggled to free herself.
"Let me go!" Anthonia yelped.
"You have no right to ignore me here. You do exactly as I say…! Got it!?" She screamed at Anthonia's face.
Her mouth really stinked and Anthonia almost threw up.
"Answer me!" The inmate snapped and sent a heavy slap across Anthonia's cheek sending her to the cold floor.
"Aargh!" Anthonia screamed as a hot pain shot through her back.
She groaned holding onto her stomach as if to protect herself.
"Please…let me be." Anthoniacried unable to bear the raging pain and the other inmates started laughing.
The place suddenly started going in circles and the voice of the laughing inmates grew distant every passing second.
The darkness was slowly swallowing her and she sought peace in it as she embraced it passing out cold on the floor.

Location; Hospital.
Diya banged the door close and walked to the table as the Doctor stood up.
"What stupid show did you put up back there?" Diya snapped and the Doctor kept mute.
"I asked you to do one simply task. Just one …make it seem as if that person is the culprit. Upload her bio-data…but you did other wise. You really don't want things to go well between us. Fine…he would find out." Diya threatened.
"You wouldn't dare." The Doctor said calmly and Diya scoffed.
"And why?....how would you stop me." She sneered.
"With this…" the Doctor said tapping on her phone screen and played a clip of their transaction the previous day leaving Diya in shock.
"Leak the news of my twins real father to my husband and your family would see this. I can't send an innocent woman to prison because of your selfish interest Miss." The Doctor replied and sat back on her seat watching the amusing look on Diya's face.
Diya couldn't believe the Doctor had outsmart her in such a game.
She glared at her before storming out of the office.

Aditi stayed back in his car staring at the building.
The building his wife was in at the moment…as a prisoner.
He exhaled and finally alighted the vehicle.
He wouldn't deny the fact that he missed her so much and had to see her.

"Hey….!"
"Hey…!"
Anthonia heard the distant call and slowly opened her eyes to see a cop outside the cell.
"Get up sleepyhead. You have a guest. You're really lucky." The male cop said and she furrowed her brows standing up weakly.
The gate was opened and she stepped out.
As they walked to the waiting area, she suddenly began feeling cold.
She felt her rising temperature and sighed.
She needed no one to tell her that the prison isn't healthy for her.
The were heading for a different visiting area.
A private one..
"There's your visitor." The cop said and Anthonia looked ahead to see the person she least expected.
"Aditi..?" The name slipped right out of her lips.
The cop left and Aditi got off his seat and picked his steps to where she stood.
She looked pale, different..
Her glow was fading.
His wife….
"My love…" He wept hugging Anthonia really tight.
Anthonia smiled weakly hugging him too.
"Am so sorry…. please forgive me." He apologized trying to fight back his tears.
"I am a bad husband."
They disengaged as he cupped Anthonia's face.
"Goodness…what are they doing to you…you look pale." He exclaimed and he felt as if something left him when he saw the marks across her cheek.
"Who the hell did this to you?" Aditi asked in a tone that made Anthoniashiver.
"It's….the inmate. The supposed boss. I dunno why she hates me so much." She sighed and she could clearly see how mad he was.
"She would regret it. Don't worry. I'll get you out of here soon okay?" He assured and she nodded.
They both walked to the table and sat next to each other.
"I ordered for something you would eat." Aditi notified arranging her hair.
"Am certain the food you are giving here isn't good at all." He added and kissed her forehead.
Anthonia chuckled and he stared at her amused.
"What's funny?" He asked.
"Are you avoiding my lips? Don't worry. I brush…" Anthonia said and Aditi laughed heartily for the first time in a long time.
"Am not avoiding them darling. I thought this situation isn't the best for this." He grinned and pulled her closer to him before lifting her chin.
His lips finally landed on hers as they kissed hungrily.
Anthonia fought the urge to straddle his laps to deepen everything.
Aditi on the other hand missed the kiss they share so much and he never realized it till that moment.
They both broke the kiss without being satisfied.
"If we go on,I might take you in right here." Aditi whispered into her ear and shr giggled.
"It's private. I don't care." She replied and he stared into her eyes which was filled with mischief.
"Silly." He laughed softly,as he tapped her nose.
"I didn't come here for that Anthonia. It could wait." He said and hugged her.
Anthonia's face burned with blush and her cheeks began to hurt due to the wide smile.
The food finally arrived and Aditi opted to feed her.
Well…she accepted…she wanted it.
"Janvi was here." Anthonia notified and Aditi faced her.
"When?" He asked.
"Earlier today. She was coming from the hospital then. They had actually conducted a test on Granny's skin to know if any print could be found." Anthonia notified.
"Tell none wasn't." He said immediately and Anthonia smiled.
"Of course no one would be found." Anthonia replied smiling.
"I am innocent Aditi. I would never want to kill her." Anthonia assured.
"I believe you okay? Just hang on. I'll get you out soon." He said and kisses her shortly then carried on with feeding her.
"Hold on…. visiting time doesn't exceed an hour. You are still here…" Anthonia noticed and he chuckled.
"I believe you know my status around Delhi especially …" Aditi grinned and Anthonia laughed.
"You must be kidding Aditi."
"No my love."
"Am done eating. Kiss me Adi….I need it badly." Anthonia groaned and Aditi could barely hide his surprise.
Anthonia quickly straddled his laps and slammed her lips on his and his arms instantly wrapped around her waist pulling her real close to him.
A cop wanted to walk into the room but saw the couple.
She giggled and quietly shut the door before retreating.
