Ryan Pov

Watching that dude hug Diana really made me feel strange within, as if I should go strangle him already.

No sooner, Diana walked into the building which got me thinking about why she was going there.

I headed into the building and for the class where my practical would hold, class 11A.

I walked in to meet Diana already seated and she looked up to see me and pulled on a stunned expression.

"Y.. you are here?" She suddenly asked and I arched a brow heading to where she sat.

" Yes.. I offer physics and I have a practical today" I replied.

" Whoa! Buh.. you are a private student so why are you here?" Diana quried and I groaned.

" Mixed. Nevermind tho" I sighed and grabbed a seat on a stool behind her.



Diana Pov

This is so not good.
If our practical schedule fall on the exact same day and time again, then it would be hard to avoid Ryan.

Besides, seeing him makes me feel confused about my feelings towards Dave.

Students began to troop in soon enough.
I guess I will never come for practicals so early again.

After a really interesting physics practical class, I gathered my things after putting down some few points.

I got off the stool not wanting to turn back and behold Ryan so I just headed for the exit.

I have cheer practice in the next few minutes and it is so exhausting right now.

Thinking about physics practical class, Ryan is a private student so why did he get mixed up with us?
Although, he wasn't the only private student around.

Hmm

I had a pretty long walk to the main basketball court where cheer practice would hold and quickly got changed into a fitting black leggings and hugging black top which was short sleeved.

As I packed my hair into a ponytail, Anthonia walked into the change room.

Diana Pov

"Thanks.." I appreciated Ryan who handed me a wrapped sausage and coke.

We both sat on one of the chairs at the basketball court.

"The game is tomorrow.." Ryan said and she ate from his burger.

" Yeah.. "I sighed.
On my way out of the building, I bumped into the into Ryan who asked if we could hang out and due to how bored I felt, I agreed and here we are.

"I really do love watching you practice your cheer dance" Ryan spoke up after a short silence and I glanced at him to see he has already been staring at me.

I averted my gaze feeling warm already without knowing what to say.

"Did I say something wrong?" Ryan asked and I shook my head negatively.

" You didn't"I said and he smiled dropping his burger before reaching out to tuck my loose hair behind my ear.

"Much better" He muttered locking gazes with me as it felt as if I was swimming in his wonderful ash-brown eyes.


Anthonia Pov

"Come have a look Anthonia" Lesley said in a low tone and I looked in through the closed entrance french door glass to see my Ryan talking happily with that girl!
He even touched her!

I made my fist very hard and fumed angrily having only little self-control and stormed off before I end up destroying that b*tch face.



Paige Pov

Lesley and I had a silent hi-five with knowing smrinks on our faces.

The newbie would get it hot!

We nodded at each other pulling on apologetic faces and rushed after Anthonia.

Diana Pov

No doubt, hanging out with Ryan is really magical.
He really made my day no doubt.

After recess, I and Dave met immediately after my driver's class and headed for music.

My day was greatly spent no doubt.

I had cheer practice in an hour after lessons so I made use of my time to get some rest before heading for practice.

By the time I arrived, Anthonia was already present and I gave her a faint smile as she looked my way but the look on her face and glaring eyes made my smile vanish.

"You are fvcking late Diana!" She snapped and I scoffed glancing at my watch.

" Practice would begin in few minutes so I am still early" I defended and Anthonia scoffed slowly approaching me.

" Really? "She drawled and I felt so surprised.
She had a cold aura around her which was so weird and different.

"You being new around doesn't mean you are special and let me warn you... You are making a mistake" She seethed letting only me hear the last part of her sentence before leaving.

I stood totally stunned searching my memory over what I could have obviously done wrong but found none.

Few girls came in after me and Anthonia didn't attack them like she did to me which meant she has a resenting feeling towards me now, but why?

During practice, Anthonia found fault in all my moves which got me super angry within.
I never liked her for once but today, she made me begin to grow detest towards her.

Diana Pov

"Her strange attitude is really weird like you said Diana". Delia said.

" Do you still hang out with Ryan?" Denise asked and I sighed.

"Not really. He only asked me to be his friend yesterday and then today, he offered to hang out with me"I replied.

" Did Anthonia see you two? "She further asked.

"No. We always stay at the basketball court alone." I replied.

"Diana.. stop seeing Ryan. Don't even befriend him. Aren't you wise to notice that he has alot of drooling admirers but no female friend except Anthonia? "Delia groaned.

" You know what girls.. am done. Anthonia is not married to Ryan neither are they dating. Dude has rights to have a female friend"I retorted and they sighed shaking their heads.

" What? "I asked arching a brow.
"Diana.. Anthonia is not someone you would want to mess with. She could get you expelled" Delia warned and I scoffed.

" Oh really? Psst.. that's mad"I said.
" She made a student get expelled last year.. our old roomie" Denise suddenly said and I gasped.

" Rose our old roomie was a newbie and got in with a scholarship. She came across Ryan and befriended him. Next thing, it got to Anthonia's knowledge who made her time here in Poshville High a living h*LL before expelling her with her power as the daughter of the Governor advisor. Am telling you Diana.. you really wouldn't wish to be in her bad book" Denise concluded leaving me gobsmacked.

Diana Pov

Today.. I got my cheerleading uniform of glittery materials and two red pom-poms to hold.

My shirt had the inscription that stated ' R. A. S' meaning Royal All Stars.

The game would start by 7pm which is three hours from now.
My very first performance here.

I spent most of my time thinking about what the girls told me last night.

How is she related to the principal that she could get someone expelled?..

That fact actually scared me.
My family aren't so rich and popular so it must have taken my Father so much to get me admitted here and I seriously don't want to let him down but on the other hand, I find Anthonia super annoying.

Ryan deserves to have female friend aside her..

Writer Pov

🗣️.. the moment we've all been waiting for. The 2019/2020 interteam game season 1!... 🗣️

Loud cheers followed from the students who had already gathered to watch.

Meanwhile, at the changing area, Diana and her crew got ready to go out and make a display while the team of Ryan known as the 'Elite' got ready for their game against the other team known as the 'Supersonics'.

🗣️.. and now, let's make welcome.. the R.A.S!... 🗣️.

The cheerleaders all rolled out in a cartwheel style and began some amazing moves before the game which awed the crowd.

Ryan from where he sat admired how great Diana moved her body.

Time went on and the game began.
Diana and her fellow cheer girls did cheer stunts at every awesome move made by the Elite while the Supersonics had a masscot.

No sooner, Ryan knocked the ball into the basket and the cheerleaders did a cartwheel and teddy sit moves together with the crowd screaming in excitement and the game continued.


They played on and on as the Elite emerged as winners beating the opposing team 99-40 and had only one goal to make it a hundred.

Ryan team mate's and fans cheered him on as he searched through the R.A.S and found Diana giving her a big smile which she returned before joining her team to display around waving their pom-poms.

Lesley and Paige noticed it and glanced at Anthonia who must have seen it as she had a look of pure hate and anger which made them happy.

Diana Pov

As I and the cheerleaders talked about the game happily, I noticed some of them squeal and I turned to see Ryan standing behind me giving me a shocker.

"Hi Ryan.." They giggled and suddenly left.
Weird..

"Congrats" I said hoping to end this meeting soon before Anthonia sees us together and gets the wrong idea.

"Thanks" He smiled out dimples making me smile.

" You played great back there" I complimented and he chuckled.

" Born talent. More seasons are yet to come tho" Ryan replied.

"Interesting.." I muttered.
"Yeah.."

Anthonia Pov

" Thanks for the compliment girls but I really need to congratulate my Ryan"I said with a grin.

" Um.. I think she must have beat you to it" Paige suddenly replied and I turned to see Ryan and Diana talking and smiling freely.

Anger swelled through me as it felt as if I would explode and I stormed off.

"Anthonia!" The girls called after me as I headed for the exit.



Diana Pov

"Com'on.. it's late. Let me walk you to your dorm" Ryan offered after the court became almost empty.

"No need Ryan. I will be fine" I assured.

"I insist Diana" He pressed and I sighed.

"Fine".

"So.. how long have you been playing basketball?" I asked as we made an exit.

"Since I was a kid, twelve years to be exact" He replied.

"Wow! Well, before you ask, I started cheerleading on my own according to my Mum from age three"I notified.

" Interesting.. "Ryan said and took a bend away from the normal path to the dorm.

We began to pass between buildings away from students.

"Why aren't we following that way?" I asked.

"I prefer a much quicker walk Diana" Ryan replied.

"Okay" I said and rubbed my palm on each of my arm due to the cold as he glanced at me.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Yeah.. I am" I replied arranging my bag and rubbed my cold arms again and he stopped walking and faced me.

"What?" I asked and he dropped his small duffel bag he had been carrying placing it on the ground and began to unzip his wooly jacket before taking it off.

Staring into my eyes, he took my pom-poms from my hold and placed them on his bag before lifting my right arm.

"What are you doing?" I whispered.
"You are cold and I am going to wear you my jacket"Ryan offered and I tried to speak.

" Shh.. I insist cherry" Ryan said with a grin and wore me the sweater making his awesome scent swirl alover me.

His gaze lingered on mine long enough to make me weak and his gaze slowly fell on my quivering lips and back to my eyes.

He took a step closer and I backed away.
He stepped forward again and I backed away with my back colliding on something and I had no more space.

Ryan took a step further as my heart began to race.

"R.. Ryan.." I called in a low tone.

"Shh.." He hushed lowly sending shivers down my spine and the gap between our lips began to close till I felt his cold lips resting on mine and my eyes shone in great surprise.
