Chapter 72


The drummers, singers and dancers made the entire place lively and colourful.

Anthonia was seated with Aditi by her side receiving gifts from well wishers.

Kaeya and Janvi were present and among the dancers.

"Anthonia…"

She looked up to see who had walked up to her.

"Maya!?"

Maya grinned happily.
"Yes…me.."

"I got you something." She said handing over a gift box to Anthonia who took it.

"Good evening sir…" Maya bowed slightly and Aditi nodded.

"Congratulations to you two. I pray that your union would be even better with the arrival of your child."Maya wished .

"Thanks a lot Maya." Anthonia smiled and she left.

Admist the invited guests,a lady dressed in a black saree walked in.
Her shawl covered her hair and she had a dark shade on.

She stood at the corner of the mansion and glanced around till her gaze landed on the couple.

"There you are…" She muttered with a grin.

Kaeya walked up to Deven.
*Hey!" She hailed and he turned away from his friends to see Kaeya.

A smile appeared on his lips.

"Hey…you dance really great." He complimented and she chuckled.

"Have you seen Anthonia? She's a pro at dancing." Kaeya chuckled.

Deven only stared deeply at her.
She was beautiful…always.
Just like Anthonia.

"You never told us you have a girlfriend Deven." One of the guys teased.

"We aren't…. "

"Well …now you know.." Kaeya chipped in and Deven faced her stunned.

They cooed as Kaeya turned to wink at Deven.

"Come with me." He said taking her hand in his and led them out of the house.

When they had gotten to the field, Deven stopped walking and faced Kaeya.

Before she could utter a word,he cupped her face and claimed her lips much to her surprise.

He broke the kiss staring into her surprised eyes which shone under the moonlight.

He had finally paralyzed her senses.
She felt …drunk…

He dived in, kissing her again.. and this time…she responded greatly pulling him real close to herself as her fingers ran all over his hair.

They both fought for dominance and no one was ready to surrender.

They finally parted breathing heavily.
They had both kissed each other's senses out.

"Why?" Kaeya muttered searching his eyes.

"It's because I love you." He confessed without hesitation and she was stunned to the core.

"You.. you love me?" She stuttered and he nodded then hugged her.

"From the very first day I saw you…I did fall for you." He sighed and she blushed holding him tight.

"I wish you would also feel the same way for me too." He whispered and Kaeya pulled away looking into his eyes.

"You..are my definition of Mr Perfect. You and only you will be my Mr Perfect." Kaeya said and he smiled.

"I love you.." she confessed and he smriked.

"That's a rare thing for a girl to do."

They both laughed heartily.

"I love you too Kae…"

Nathasha glanced at Anthonia's direction before taking the call.

"Where are you?" She asked going to a secluded and quiet corner.

"Am right behind you.." The person replied through the phone and Nathasha turned to see a lady wearing a saree and shade.

She ended the call.

"Diya .." She grinned.

"Nice disguise.." Nathasha chuckled and Diya rolled her eyes behind the glasses.

"I have seen that little rat already." Diya scoffed.

"She really is enjoying the wealth of that family yunno." Nathasha said.

"That wouldn't last for long. My men are here. Upon signal,make sure you get her out to where we can easily get her. Make it quiet and quickly. No one must find out so as to ensure that she is dead before being rescued." Diya ordered and Nathasha smiled.

"Trust me on this."

Diya nodded and walked away.

Nathasha turned watching her leave and smriked.

"I will get rid of you as soon as that girl is wiped out from this earth surface." Nathasha muttered and shrugged before walking away.

The party had ended already and the guests began to find their way home.

Anthonia was taken up to the room by Janvi and Krishi.

"How do you feel?" Krishi asked as Anthonia sat on the stool at the dressing table.

"Worn out." Anthonia groaned and began taking off her jewelries.

"It's totally normal." Krishi chuckled.

"Where's Soni?" Anthonia asked as Janvi took off her hair pins.

"With Pradeep. We'll be leaving soon." Krishi replied and Anthonia nodded.

"I have been meaning to ask…" Anthonia said and Krish faced her.

"Go on…"

"Um…this is my first pregnancy yunno…" Anthonia began and flushed up.

"And um…I am kinda scared." She sighed and Krishi furrowed her brows.

"Why?"

"The birth process Krishi. Stories of it scares me." Anthonia groaned.

"Listen to me Anthonia…" Krishi said taking hold of her hand.

"It's just for a moment…the pains…screams …. it's all worth it when you finally get to hold your little life in arms…hearing their first cry…and beholding their cute features… you would instantly forget everything.
Trust me Anthonia…it's all worth it. I trust in you so much." Krishi encouraged and Anthoniateared up before hugging her sister waist who caressed her hair tenderly.

Janvi cherished that moment so much.

"Ok now…go shower. Aditi would be here soon. We will excuse you." Krishi said as they disengaged and Anthonia nodded wiping her tears.

They exited the room and Anthonia exhaled touching her stomach.

"Hey little one…" She muttered and chuckled.

"It's Mummy…."
"I can't deny I am nervous. In a month,I'll be holding you…I will be welcoming you. I can't wait to see you…to kiss you." Anthonia whispered and looked up at her reflection then smiled at it.

"And you…. you are very lucky…. so lucky.." Anthonia chuckled.

The guests had already gone but the Rathord were going to spend the night there.

Nathasha was at the room she was given pacing around.
She had less than an hour to make Anthonia leave the mansion but how?...

That part was so hard.
She definitely couldn't ask Anthonia out for a stroll because if she eventually goes missing…they would suspect her first.

"Aargh! I hate this!" Nathasha grunted and stomped off to the bathroom.

Diya sat in the jeep across the street watching the mansion.

Some sweet memories flashed into her memory and she sighed.

She was only doing this for love…nothing more.

Anthonia sighed turning on the bed facing Aditi who was asleep.

She just couldn't sleep.
Sighing,she carefully got off the bed and exited the room.

The entire mansion was quiet.
It was already late at night.

She stepped out and walked towards the field hugging herself.

The night wasn't so cold and she was glad because she didn't pull on any sweater before coming out.

The sky appeared beautiful that night and it reminded her of Diwali..
When Aditi had held her so close to himself there on the field just to teach her how to light a fire cracker.

She chuckled at the memory and exhaled.

Just as she tried to turn,an arm came from behind cupping get mouth blocking the scream that erupted at that moment.

Her eyes shone in fear as a cloth came over her nose and she struggled to get away but the grip was too powerful.

Slowly, she felt really dizzy and her fighting moves grew weak and she passed out limp.
