Anthonia POV

I rushed back into the room after the sweet show.
Am so close to frustrating her badly and the universe is totally on my side.

I chuckled evily as I headed to shower and prepare for school.


Location; K.H

I closed the locker after keeping my textbook.

"Com'on already Anthonia... I need to get that book." Kaeya whined.

"Alright... alright...am done." I gave in and we walked off.

"So how's your operation frustrate Diya going?" Kaeya asked with a smrink.

"Trust me B...am showing her..." I replied and we high-fived laughing.

"I feel you darling! Fill me in on what you've been doing." She requested and I did...

We finally got the book she needed and headed out.

"Wow..! You are such a bad a** B!" Kaeya exclaimed.

"Thank you.." I chuckled.
" I so love the bread part. Soon, she'll be out of that house. Seems you're getting interested in the marriage." Kaeya teased and I shot her a glare.

"May the goddess forbid. Kaeya!" I exclaimed.

"Sorry..." She chuckled and I rolled my eyeballs.

Later...

Time to act up...

Everyone got seated at the table except the Mother's and I


We began serving as I started with granny.

I love her so much!

I headed to Aditi's side...
Drama time...

I served Aditi his meal and he didn't even spare me a glance as he started eating.

I moved on to Diya who had a smrink on but I passed a sly smile to her probably leaving her confused.

I tried serving her some stew when I held my head as if I'd pass out and the stew ended up spilling on her laps.

"Aah!" She shrieked and I let the spoon fall holding my head and I flinched hoping I don't fall.

Surprisingly,I felt a powerful set of arms hold my waist from falling and I opened my eyes to meet the charming gaze gaze of Aditi.

Hold on..did I just think of his eyes to be charming!,

"O my goodness! Anthonia.."

Everyone exclaimed.
I quickly acted.

"Ugh! My head hurts..." I groaned.

"Aditi get her up to the room. Hang on Anthonia... you'll be fine." I heard the worried tone of Mother-in-law.

In a flash, I was swept up in Aditi's arms as he headed for the stairs after I had stylishly winked at Diya and she glared at me.

In no time, I was already in the room as Aditi laid me carefully on the bed and tried to leave when I held his hand.
He turned to look at me.

. "Let go Anthonia. I need to get your medication." He groaned and I left him.

. He soon administered the medicine to me as I eyed him badly.

I finally set the glass cup aside and exhaled.

"You should get some rest." He finally said and began to head for the door.

"You possibly can't leave me here.. can you?" I quickly asked and he paused on his track.

I slowly got off the bed standing akimbo as he turned to look at me.

"Do you expect me to sit here and nurse you? Giant baby." He scoffed to my awe as I gasped.

"How dare you huh? Am no giant baby?" I snapped.

"Of course you are..." He grinned.
"Am not..'

"You are.."

Diya POV

I sighed already getting irritated at their loud stup*d argument.

Damn that girl!

Am certain she had this all planned out.. to gain Aditi all night.

Ugh!

I ruffled my hair in frustration.
All thanks to this stup*d wound...I can't walk well else...I'd have already put a miserable end to her show tonight.

I sulked angrily as their noisy argument filled my room walls.

Anthonia POV

I picked up a big pillow throwing it angrily at Aditi as he swiftly dodged it

"Gee.... are you nuts?" He exclaimed.

"Oh yes, I am!" I snapped and he stared at me... deeply.

The sudden silence in the room lingered as his gaze began to have a slight effect on me.

My heart suddenly began to do flips.
I hated it!

For a moment, I admired his look...the one I can only hate!
Ugh !

I huffed arranging my hair as I headed for the closet taking out a night dress and headed to the bathroom.

After my business,I exited the bathroom drying my hair with a towel.

Aditi was seated on the bed operating on a laptop.

Upon noticing my entrance,he looked up to spare me a glance as I rolled my eyeballs at him then he scoffed looking back at his laptop screen.

I fixed my hair into a messy bun after brushing it, applied some night facials then headed for the bed.

. I got hold of two pillows and divided the bed as usual. .

I soon laid down to sleep comfortably.


***Days Later***


Anthonia POV

. The holidays had began two days ago and the yearly fast was approaching quickly.

It's a yearly fast known as Karwa Chauth, mostly carried out by married Indiana women for 24 hours and are to break by moon rise being fed by their husbands from their trays.

Singles or engaged could also engage in it for the good will of their to be husbands.

It's going to be my very first fast and also as a married lady.
Tho, I had never engaged in any of the fast, I would surely have to engage in this one.

I pulled on a lehenga choli of black colour.
I have missed this outfit so much!

I fixed my wedding chain around my neck and appiled some vermilion in my hair center cut..
. I had let my hair hang loose today.

As I alighted the stairs,they noticed me.

"Oh my dear! You're here.." Aunt Indu exclaimed getting off the couch scuttling to me as I fully alighted the stairs.

. "Come...come on my child." She urged taking me to the sitting area and made me sit on a couch.

All the ladies of the house were there, including Granny except Diya.

. I could guess.....with the numerous boxes of jewelries and sarees...one could know it's all about the preparation for the fast.

"Anthoniamy dear,it's going to be your first fast as a married woman. Aren't you excited?" Aunt Shyla asked from where she sat.

You wish...
I don't even like this marriage.

I slowly gave a fake smile.
"Go on... choose from these sarees." Mother offered and I nodded picking up a beautiful pink saree with sparkles.

This would do...
"I'll take this.." I said.

"Oh! But the red coloured saree is more auspicious." Mother said and I sighed.

"I'll just wear it on that day then. And go for the pink...on the night of the fast." I notified picking up the red saree.

It looked extremely beautiful and classy.

Everyone suddenly vegan to cheer.
"Told you she'd go for the pink first Mother!" Janvi chuckled and high-fived Jaya and Lara.

I furrowed my brows.
"My one thousand rupees Auntie..." Janvi requested and Aunt Indu made a frown opening her purse and handed Janvi the money.

"Nice doing business with you Aunt.." Janvi said and everyone laughed.

So...they made a bet on me picking this saree huh?

Later.. Granny picked a whole set of attractive red bangles for me, and a box of jewelry having a long pair of earrings, neckwear and hair pin.

Guess am all set for that night.
