A new clue

Adam’s standing in front of the crowd, showing his huge black wolf. But that’s not the only thing the people are shocked about. The black wolf has two different golden aura’s floating around him. Showing the images of an immense bear and an owl, bigger than any owl in this world. In fact, the owl is bigger than a human! Nobody knows what to do and how to react. So they wait, they wait for their Luna or Adam to respond.

“Hi everyone, this is me: Adam. I’m different from anybody else, I’m the Moon Goddess’ child, she made me herself. But as you can see, I have multiple beasts. That’s because the Goddess made me a druid. Yes, I’m the first born druid, ever! I know this sounds weird, I can barely believe it myself, but I want you to accept me. The wolf in front of you is Ace, he’s my dominant beast and the one you will see the most. But I’ve company from two others: a bear and an owl, both with their own strengths.” We can hear Adam’s voice, loud and clear.

This is insane! Nobody has ever talked in their shifted forms before, but we can hear him now! I’m blown away, I’ve troubles digesting this information. I knew he was special, but I didn’t know about all this. The night they attacked me, I saw his wolf. His wolf is different from all the other wolves I’ve seen. Not only is Ace bigger than an average wolf, he’s also more ‘developed’ or something. I can read his emotions, and I can feel they’re intense and complicated. They’re almost human… That means Adam and Ace are incredibly strong connected to each other, a very powerful combination.

But the appearance of Ace is different too, he is certainly a wolf but at the same time you can see he’s not the same as others. The body proportions are slightly different, I can tell his wolf is incredibly agile and fast, and his head has bigger ears and eyes than normal werewolves. I guess it has everything to do with his sharpened senses.

I look at Adam and answer him: “Adam, my son, we’re honoured to accept you and run with you.” I shift in my own wolf, Aura, raise my head to the moon and start to howl. I hear bones cracking and others join me in my howl. Within seconds a humongous sound is filling the area. Adam’s wolf is still staring to the crowd and at the last moment, he joins the howl. His sound is pure and crystal clear, I know I will always recognize this voice.

-Adam POV-

Two hours later, we are back from the run. It was amazing! I know showing my druid-being to the people was shocking to everyone, but it needed to be done. I won’t hide myself from my own family. Once I will be their Alpha, they deserve the truth.

This was truly the best day I had in my whole life! I kiss mom goodnight and walk towards the packhouse, I want a nice hot shower and a bed to sleep in. I’m tired! But at this point I hear chaos behind me and one of the patrollers is yelling: “An intruder at our eastern border! Luna, he asked about you. What do you want us to do? Kill him for crossing our border, uninvited, or bring him here to our cells?”

One of the wolf laws is that you are not allowed to cross other territories, uninvited. If you do so, the pack can decide what to do with your life.

I turn around and look at mom. She answers the patroller: “What did he say? Where’s he from? What does he want from us?”

The guy answers: “He only said he’s from the Shadow Pack and escaped and wanted to talk to our Luna. It’s important.”

My heart stops beating for a moment. The Shadow Pack?

Mom looks at me and whispers: “Eve…”

I walk directly to the patroller and say: “Bring me to the eastern border, I will escort him back to our cells. GO!”

This is the moment we’ve all waited for. We haven’t found useful clues on the internet or library about the Shadow Pack. The only things we found was information about their wealth, the buildings and companies they own in the city. Nothing about the pack itself. Besides the rumours of them being merciless and bloody, we know nothing about them. Well, off course Bonnie could remember some things. She knows where they live, and how the packhouse looks like. She had been there a couple of times. But that’s almost sixteen years ago, they could’ve changed a lot since then. We don’t know.

But this, a wolf ‘escaped’ from the Shadow Pack is a big. It HAS to be about Eve. And I will found out...
