Chapter 290 Jerry, Do You Want to Make Love with Me

Jerry shot me a sideways glance, didn't say a word, and grabbed my leg to keep me from pulling it back. He whipped out his phone and made a call. A few minutes later, a waiter showed up with some iodine swabs and a tube of ointment.

Jerry snapped the swab and gently dabbed the iodine on my cut. His long lashes hid his feelings, but his voice was kinda muffled. "I don't care how you've been living before. From now on, you gotta take care of yourself. If you can't, let me do it."

My heart did a little flip, and my eyes got all teary. I felt like crying. Turned out, crying wasn't only a response to feeling down.

Before I could say anything, Jerry unscrewed the ointment. He once told me he sucked at delicate stuff like treating wounds, but here he was, doing it with crazy precision. I'd never seen him this serious, not even when he was signing those multi-million dollar deals.

The cool ointment felt like an electric shock, making me flinch.

Jerry frowned a bit, holding my ankle to keep me still, and said, "Now you feel the pain?"

"No, it doesn't hurt," I replied honestly. The cool ointment provided a relief far greater than the discomfort from the wound rubbing against my shoe.

Jerry finished applying the ointment, set it aside, grabbed my waist with both hands, and lifted me onto his lap.

He pressed his forehead against mine, his brown eyes full of helplessness, and said, "Hope, I'm hurting. I can't stand seeing you hurt. Not even a little bit."

Jerry's stubborn and bossy voice hit my ears, and I suddenly looked up and kissed him.

But this time, I didn't close my eyes. I wanted to remember his deep and passionate look forever.

Even when I'm old, I wanna remember these moments filled with so much love.

I'm not great at kissing, and when I take the lead, it's usually a mess.

But Jerry still loved it. When I felt his body's reaction, I blushed and pulled back. The alcohol was kicking in, and I felt weak.

His eyes were full of desire. He straightened my clothes, which he had messed up, held me close with one arm, and pinched my cheek with the other. "Drinking makes you bold, huh? Now you're trying to seduce me?"

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Sophia stood there, grinning mischievously. "What seduction? Did I hear something juicy?"

I quickly got out of Jerry's arms and stood up, my face burning, feeling a bit dizzy but trying to steady myself. "Sophia!"

Jerry didn't budge and asked, "Why didn't you knock?"

Sophia looked guilty but still shot back, "Didn't I just knock?"

"Who opens the door and then knocks?" Jerry chuckled, pulled me back to sit down, and seeing that the ointment on my wound was almost dry, he slapped on a band-aid while looking at Sophia, lazily asking, "Got any flat shoes in your car? Hope's foot is hurt."

I quickly stopped him. "No need to trouble yourself, a band-aid is fine..."

"It's cool, I always keep spare shoes." Sophia pulled out her phone and called Neil, then walked over and said, "I asked Neil to bring them. Don't sweat it; guys are meant to be bothered."

"You should learn to bother Jerry more often. You are only one he would care about." Sophia added.

When Neil brought the shoes, the party was still in full swing.

Tonight, Neil had been glued to Madison, making it clear to everyone about Madison's ties with the Ortiz family.

So, everyone was extra keen to get on Madison's good side. After all, Neil was known for being a tough nut to crack.

By the time Jerry and I got back to Tranquil Haven Estates, it was already past ten.

In the elevator, I hit the button for the sixth floor, but he didn't press any. When I looked at him, puzzled, he pushed me against the elevator wall.

His big hand gripped my waist, pulling me close, his voice all husky. "Has the booze worn off?"

"Not really," After switching to flat shoes, I was worried Madison had drunk too much, so I downed a few glasses for her. On the way back, I dozed off a bit and still felt kinda dizzy.

Jerry grinned, lifting me a bit, his voice low and tempting. "Then kiss me again."

"There's a camera!" I turned my face away, trying to hide in the camera's blind spot.

Jerry kissed my forehead without a second thought. "We'll be home soon."

The elevator stopped just as he finished talking.

I was about to slip away, but he grabbed my wrist and walked out with me, saying casually, "There's an electrical problem at my place, and I haven't had time to fix it."

I must've really gotten bolder from drinking. After we got inside, I leaned against the hallway cabinet, my eyes locked on him. "Jerry, do you wanna have sex with me?"

Jerry didn't flinch, his gaze steady, filled with intense desire. "Yes, I've wanted to for a long time."

"A long time?" I was a bit stunned. I hadn't been back in the country that long.

Jerry stepped forward, pressing me against the hallway cabinet, his deep eyes burning with desire. "Since I recognized you, or rather, since I became a man before I found you, I've wanted you."

With that, he didn't give me time to react. His scorching kiss covered my lips, like he wanted to consume me whole, body and soul.

Jerry had never been this urgent. His low, muffled, trembling voice echoed in the quiet room.

I didn't know if it was his blunt, explicit words or his overwhelming possessiveness, but my body started trembling uncontrollably as his touch ignited a fiery passion within me.

I murmured, "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry."

I knew this time wouldn't be like before, just a kiss, but I had no intention of stopping. The usual questions that would pop into my head were all thrown aside. My mind was hazy yet crystal clear. The intoxication made me reckless, but I was acutely aware of whose arms I was in at that moment.

Jerry lifted me to his waist, whispering in my ear, his breath hot. "Baby, do you want to go to the couch or the bed?"
