Chapter 108 Ruined Her

At Aurora Mansion, as the wedding day got closer, Thalia was losing it, getting more and more pissed off.

All because Michael had ghosted her, and The Tudor Group had even banned her from coming in.

Up in her room on the second floor, listening to the automated voice on the phone, Thalia's face twisted in anger, and she chucked her phone across the room.

It hit the edge of the table at a bad angle, and the screen shattered into a million pieces.

Already fuming, the sight of her broken phone just made her even more furious and jealous.

She clenched her fists, wishing she could rip Anna apart with her bare hands!

Why was Anna still trying to get with Michael even though she was already married?

Why did Michael never look at her?

She was the one engaged to him, not Anna!

Thalia gritted her teeth, her eyes burning with rage.

If Michael couldn't let go of Anna, she'd find a way to make Anna disappear!

Thalia squinted, a plan forming in her mind.

If she ruined Anna, would Michael still care about her?

If one Charles wasn't enough, she'd find a few more guys for Anna.

Then she'd see if Michael still wanted that bitch!

The next day, in an apartment in downtown Crystal City, after finishing a call, Trevor hurried to the hall and said to Neil by the window, "Mr. Walker, one of my men says there's a buyer for the new M-type liquor."

M-type liquor was a specialty of Brightfall, with a super strong, volatile smell.

Neil flicked the ash from his cigarette, blew out a smoke ring, and turned around lazily. "If someone wants to buy, then sell it. Do you really need to ask me?"

Trevor lowered his head, "But this time, the client refused to reveal any info. I'm just worried it might be a trap set by the Crystal City cops."

Hearing this, Neil raised an eyebrow and asked, "How much do they want?"

Trevor replied, "Not much, just two vials."

Neil smirked. "Such a small amount is really insignificant in front of those detectives."

Then Neil added, "Even if the cops wanted to play games, they wouldn't just have someone buy two vials. Knowing those guys, they'd probably try something dumb like sending a female officer to seduce us."

After all, ten years ago in Brightfall, his godfather 'Joseph' almost got caught by a police spy.

Hearing Neil's words, Trevor relaxed a bit. "Mr. Walker, I think you should keep your distance from that woman named Aurora."

Being in Crystal City, they were far from Brightfall.

No matter how powerful they were in Brightfall, they had their limits here.

If Aurora caused any trouble, Neil being too close to her could be risky.

Listening to Trevor, Neil nonchalantly lifted his eyelids.

Putting out his cigarette and tossing it into the ashtray, he sneered. "She's just a small-time reporter; she can't cause any trouble. Besides, she's so gullible she'd believe anything a stranger tells her. The cops wouldn't even think of using someone as dumb as her."

Before leaving, Trevor asked again, "Mr. Walker, it seems the Crystal City cops have been easing up on their investigations lately. Should we take this chance to head back to Brightfall?"

Neil thought for a moment and shook his head. "Let's not be hasty. Those detectives have been on our tail for too long; there's no way they'd just give up."

The current calm was probably a trap set by the Crystal City detectives.

The detectives were probably waiting for them to let their guard down and slip up so the detectives could nab them all at once.
