Chapter 96 Vacation

Anna just couldn't resist him.

In the end, she found herself in his arms, being fed dinner.

"Anya, you full?" he asked.

Anna licked her lips, took a sip of water, and nodded. "Yeah, I'm full."

Before she could even finish her sentence, he took the cup from her hand and set it aside. "So, Anya, isn't it time for you to feed me?"

Anna glanced up at him.

She picked up some food and brought it to his lips. "Eat."

Charles opened his mouth and took a bite.

After swallowing, he pinched her waist and stared at her. "Anya, that's not what I meant."

Anna pretended not to get his hint. "Ah, you full?"

She calmly put down the knife and fork, pulled his arm away, got off him, waved her hand casually, and walked upstairs. "Since you're full, no need to feed anymore."

When Anna woke up the next morning, the scene before her was completely different.

Looking at the endless ocean, Anna blinked, then instinctively closed her eyes tightly. When she opened them again, the blue sky and sea were still there.

She looked down at herself, wrapped tightly in a blanket, with Charles holding her and the blanket in his arms.

They were watching the sea view together.

Underneath them, on the soft sand, was a large, thick mat with a soft blanket on top.

Seeing her open her eyes, Charles lowered his head and rubbed her head. "Awake, Anya?"

Anna didn't dare to move much because she was only wearing a nightgown.

She leaned against Charles and asked him in confusion, "Where are we? When did we get here?"

Charles cupped her face and pecked her on the corner of her lips. "Last night, after you fell asleep, I brought you here. I've been on business trips a lot lately and have been neglecting you. So, I took advantage of these few days off to bring you out to have some fun."

Anna clutched the blanket in front of her chest, worried that someone might suddenly appear. "Then I'll go back and change my clothes first. It's not good to be seen wrapped in a blanket like this."

Charles hugged her soft body tightly in his arms.

Suddenly, he found Anna so adorable.

"No one will see us." Meeting Anna's puzzled gaze, Charles explained, "This entire island belongs to our family. It's private property, and no one dares to come here."

In other words, this place only had him and Anna.

Listening to Charles, Anna turned to look at the "island" that seemed to stretch endlessly and once again gained a new understanding of the Percy family's wealth.

It was noon, and the bright sunlight reflected off the blue sea, with golden glimmers on the water's surface.

Seagulls playfully flew with the waves, occasionally stopping nearby, curiously watching Anna and Charles.

After enjoying the sea breeze for a while, Charles carried Anna to the villa behind them.

Although built on an island, the villa was no less impressive than the Percy family mansion.

Whether it was the decor or the furnishings inside, it could definitely be described as luxury.

The first floor had a large floor-to-ceiling window, offering a view of the endless sea outside.

When Anna came down the spiral staircase after changing her clothes, Charles had already prepared lunch in the yard.

It was a roasted rabbit.

On the grill, a plump rabbit was roasted to a golden crisp. It looked very appetizing and made one's mouth water at just a glance.

As Anna walked over, Charles had already cut the cooked rabbit meat into small pieces, making it easy to eat. "Are there rabbits on this island?"

Charles fed Anna a piece of cooked rabbit meat, watching her eat it with a smile. "How does it taste?"

"Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It's delicious," she said.

Charles continued cutting the rabbit meat and answered her previous question. "There are not only rabbits on this island but also quite a few chickens. Tonight or tomorrow, I'll make roast chicken for you."
