Chapter 74 Tina, What Do You Like About Him

Tina listened to Julia and gave a slow nod.

Julia then asked, "Tina, what do you like about him?"

Tina thought for a moment, her lips curling into a sly smile. "I'm totally lusting after his body."

Julia almost spat out her coffee at Tina's bluntness.

She coughed, regained her composure, and gave Tina a thumbs up. No wonder Julia mentored her; she was bold enough to say anything.

"So, you're sticking around just because you want to sleep with him?" Julia asked in a low voice.

Tina admitted openly. "Yep."

After thinking about what Julia had just said, Tina set her coffee aside and suddenly stood up. "Julia, you're right. Whether he likes Anna or not, I need to ask. Besides, she is already married to Charles. With Charles's character, there's no way he's divorcing Anna."

So, even if Austin really liked Anna, he had no chance. But if he didn't like Anna, she could still try harder. After all, she really wanted to sleep with him. So, she decided to take action.

Tina drove from Starlight Entertainment to the SWAT team was stationed. This time, she was outside and spotted Austin talking to someone at the entrance.

His face was as unreadable as ever. When he saw Tina waiting, he just slightly moved his eyes.

Tina didn't approach but waited on the side for him to finish his conversation. After about ten minutes, the person talking to Austin left, and Tina walked up in her high heels. "Austin."

Austin looked at Tina, his tone as cold as ever. "Did something happen?"

Tina tilted her head slightly. "Yeah."

Austin frowned slightly. "Go ahead."

Tina got straight to the point. "Austin, do you like Anna?"

Austin didn't expect that, and his gaze darkened.

Tina noticed the subtle change and asked again without flinching, "Austin, don't you really like her?"

Austin just stared at Tina with a deep gaze. "Who told you to ask this?"

"I wanted to ask myself," Tina said. "I like you, so I want to know if you have someone you like."

Austin withdrew his gaze and stopped looking at her. "It's none of your business."

He turned to leave but suddenly heard Tina say, "She is already married to Charles. We all saw it. Charles really likes her. He won't tolerate anyone coveting Anna."

Austin stopped in his tracks. "Thanks for letting me know."

Just as he was about to leave again, Tina quickly stepped forward, grabbed his sleeve, and asked, "Did you throw away the crystal I gave you last time?"

Austin looked at her and asked, "If I did, would you stop bothering me?"

"If you threw it away, I'd just give you another one." Tina held onto him, and this time, Austin didn't forcefully shake her off.

After a couple of seconds, Tina raised her eyebrows slightly and asked tentatively, "Why are you so concerned about her? Do you have some other relationship with her?"

Austin's eyes changed slightly.

Before Tina could react, Austin coldly denied. "No, you're overthinking it."

Not far behind them, a sleek luxury car had pulled up.

Behind the tinted window, Lester was surprised to see a young, pretty girl holding onto Austin's sleeve, and Austin not pushing her away.

Lester's eyes widened with excitement as he asked the driver, "Am I seeing things? Even Austin has a girl who likes him?"

The key point was that this girl was really pretty and looked familiar. Lester was racking his brain, trying to remember where he had seen her.

The driver laughed and said, "Mr. Stewart, that's the actress who's been the top star in the entertainment industry for three years. My daughter loves her and keeps asking for her autograph."

"Oh? So she's an actress," Lester said.

The Stewart family was the undisputed number one in Whisper City, only comparable to the centuries-old Percy family. But even so, Lester didn't look down on actors. In his view, all professions deserved respect. And considering how cold and unfeeling Austin was, he should be grateful that a girl liked him. 

What right did Austin have to be picky?

After a while, Tina left the SWAT team. Lester made sure to carefully observe Tina's expression as she left. Seeing no obvious signs of anger, he finally breathed a sigh of relief. 

Lester felt that his decision to come to Crystal City secretly was the right one. Although he came to see his niece secretly, he had just arrived and saw the future daughter-in-law of the Stewart family.

This "unexpected joy" instantly lifted Lester's spirits. He had originally planned to pass by the SWAT team entrance. Given Austin's special status, he didn't intend to go in and look for him. Not seeing Austin for a long time, if he was lucky, he might catch a glimpse of him at the SWAT team entrance.

Lester sat on the sofa, and Austin looked at him disapprovingly. "Dad, why are you here?"

Austin frowned. "Of course not. The international gang hasn't been tracked down yet. All the police stations in Crystal City might have their informants. Dad, coming here recklessly could bring disaster to the Stewarts."

Just as Austin and his SWAT team were determined to eliminate those ruthless and vicious criminals by any means necessary, those criminals, for their selfish desires, were also trying every possible way to eliminate these SWAT officers. 

Especially since they would rather kill a thousand innocents than let one go. This international gang leader had a huge background, with ties to the underworld and the dark forces in Brightfall. These desperados, who lived on the edge, had unimaginable means of revenge. 

This was also why, despite being born into a wealthy family, Austin didn't dare to gamble with the entire Stewart family.
