Chapter 112 Let Go of Me!
"Anna, you rely on Charles so much because you two had sex, right? It doesn't matter, we can do it too." His voice was obsessive and cold, like a madman.
Anna bit her lip hard, trying to stay awake. Her lips were almost bleeding from her bite.
Michael propped himself up and tore off the tie around his neck right in front of her.
His deep gaze seemed glued to her, never leaving for a moment. "Anna, my biggest regret is not making love to you in those eight years. Last year, on your birthday, you rejected my proposal. That night, I should have made love to you. Every time I went abroad to be with you these past two years, I shouldn't have let you go. But every time you said 'too fast' or 'don't want to,' I softened and let you go. Looking back now, I was truly foolish."
He should have made her his long ago!
Even if she had gone to Charles two months ago, would he still want her after everything she's been through?
Seeing him approach, Anna shook her head and tried to back away. "No, Michael, calm down."
But as soon as she moved a little, he grabbed her ankle and pulled her back! "Anna, I will erase every trace of him from you. After tonight, I'll take you away from Crystal City and back abroad. I will never let you set foot in Crystal City again!"
"No!" As he leaned in, Anna frantically scratched and clawed at him, trying to protect herself from his violation.
Grabbing her hands that were slapping and resisting, Michael's face showed impatience and anger. "Anna, you're being very disobedient! You were always mine! I raised you, I grew up with you, I sheltered you from the storm. Your body, your heart, everything about you should be mine! Anna, you'd rather make love to a stranger than give yourself to me?"
"No! Get away from me!" Anna's voice was almost hoarse, using all her strength to kick and push him away.
Michael thought that with the aphrodisiac in her, she would have no strength left, but she still fought back desperately.
Grabbing her kicking legs, Michael pressed his body down on hers.
He looked at her flushed cheeks and cruelly smirked. "Anna, you're drugged. Tonight, only I can save you. Be good; I won't hurt you."
Her eyes filled with tears at some point, crying out in despair. When he tried to kiss her, she bit him fiercely.
Due to the angle, Anna only bit the edge of his ear.
But she seemed determined, biting down with all her strength and refusing to let go.
In just two or three seconds, Michael's ear was bleeding from her bite.
The sharp pain made him stop momentarily.
She kept calling Charles's name, making his anger and jealousy reach an unprecedented peak.
Taking advantage of his momentary pause, Anna's fingers frantically searched for the water cup on the table.
She grabbed the cup, instinctively wanting to smash it on Michael's head.
But just before she could, Michael noticed her movement and raised his arm to block it.
The glass cup fell to the ground and shattered into pieces.
Michael's eyes were bloodshot.
Anna's face grew redder, her body hotter. She bit her tongue hard, the pain bringing back some of her strength.
She hugged her knees, curling into a ball, her body trembling slightly. "Michael, don't make me hate you more."
"Hate?" Michael wiped the blood from his ear, his face cold and terrifying. "Then hate me even more, Anna. We were always meant to hate each other."
As he approached again, Anna's despair reached a breaking point.
She grabbed anything she could and threw it at Michael.
Pillows, blankets, and the box of tissues by the table.
Michael's fingers clenched into fists at his sides, watching her lose control like never before.
Two months ago, when he tore off his mask, she was also in despair and pain.
But that despair was nothing compared to today.
All this was just to stay faithful to her so-called husband, Charles?
In just two months, Charles's influence on her was this strong?
Michael stood by the bed, quietly watching the desperate and out-of-control Anna. She had thrown everything off the bed until she had frantically grabbed her phone from the corner of the bed.
Seeing her hurriedly unlock and open her contacts, Michael's calm facade shattered.
He strode forward, kneeled on the bed, and snatched the phone from Anna's hand, throwing it to the ground.
His cold fingers gripped her chin tightly.
His voice was as cold as ice. "Anna, who were you trying to call? Charles?"
Anna pressed her lips together, not saying a word.
Michael's breathing grew heavier, looking at her eyes filled with hatred and disgust, his heart felt like countless needles were piercing it, a dense and painful sensation.
He tried to ignore the pain, keeping his tone as normal as possible. "Anna, I've let you act out for so long. You should learn to behave. Even if you cry yourself to death on this bed tonight, I won't let you go!"
At this moment, neither Michael nor Anna noticed that when she frantically opened her contacts, her finger accidentally dialed the number for 'Emergency Contact' Austin.
And now, on the phone lying on the ground, the call had already connected.
