Chapter 110 Give Her to Me

Seeing Anna sprawled on the ground, Thalia's lips curled into a wicked grin. She sauntered over, stood beside Anna, and whipped out her phone to send a quick text.

In no time, six hulking guys emerged from a nondescript black car parked deep in the lot.

Thalia had brought these guys in from out of town.

Because everyone in Crystal City knew Charles doted on Anna, and she was tight with the Percy family. No one local would touch this job, no matter the cash.

The leader of the group crouched down, taking a good look at Anna's gorgeous face.

After a moment, he stood up, looking a bit unsure.

Anna was drop-dead gorgeous and classy. Was she really just some loose woman with no connections, like Thalia said?

The more he stared, the more something felt off.

Thalia, worried about hanging around too long, snapped, "Get her in the car, quick. She's a knockout, right? She should keep you all entertained."

A flash of cruelty crossed Thalia's eyes as she added, "Don't hold back. Play rough. Doesn't matter if she kicks the bucket."

The leader didn't feel any better hearing this; in fact, he got more nervous.

"Ms. Howard, are you sure her dying won't come back to bite us?" he asked.

Although they were lecherous and loved gambling, they didn't want to lose their lives over women.

Thalia thought better of it and said, "Just keep her alive."

If she died, the Percy family would definitely come after them.

"Make sure to record a video. If things go south, you can say she came on to you. Once the video hits the internet, everyone will believe you over a drugged-up slut." Thalia's words seemed to ease the men's nerves.

If the boss said it was cool, why worry?

They'd get to have their way with a beautiful woman and score a hefty payday.

Thalia glanced around, then hurried to her car. "Move it, don't drag your feet. If someone spots us, we're screwed."

The men nodded.

Two of them lifted Anna off the ground, ready to toss her into the car.

But just as they were about to shove her in, a cold, commanding voice rang out from the parking lot entrance. "Stop!"

Michael didn't even bother turning off his car. He jumped out and rushed over to the thug in front. "Put her down!"

Thalia had just slipped into her car when she saw Michael show up out of nowhere, and her heart skipped a beat.

She hoped the thugs would be gutsy enough to leave a couple of guys behind to stall Michael while the rest made off with Anna.

But in the next moment, she watched Michael throw a punch that sent the lead thug stumbling back.

The guy looked shaken, seeing Michael's raw aggression.

Michael grabbed one of Anna's arms, trying to pull her into his arms.

But the other thugs still had a grip on her.

Michael shot them a cold glare and growled, "If you don't want to spend the rest of your life in prison, let her go!"

The lead thug wiped the blood from his lip and glanced over at Thalia's car.

Then he spat on the ground and muttered to the others, "Let her go! We're outta here!"

Michael cradled Anna in his arms.

Feeling her burning up, he paused his chase.

He gently placed her in his car and quickly dialed Nolan. "I'm sending you a license plate number. Stop that car. Meet me at the highway surveillance blind spot in twenty minutes. You take my car and head out of town."

Five minutes later, Charles's call came through.

Hearing the phone ring from Anna's purse, Michael glanced at her unconscious form, his eyes narrowing.

He didn't stop the car or answer the call.

Instead, he floored it, racing towards the highway entrance.

Meanwhile, in a meeting, Charles couldn't shake a bad feeling, like something terrible was about to happen.

He abruptly ended the online meeting, walked out of the conference room, and called Anna, but no answer.

Charles's frown deepened, his jaw tightening.

After the call cut off, he dialed again.

Same result—no answer until it hung up.

Ignoring the shareholders waiting in the conference room, Charles headed straight to the private elevator, messaging Henry to get Cedric to take over the meeting.

Leaving Apex Holdings Group, Charles drove towards Radiant Life Hospital, ordering his team to check all surveillance footage around the hospital to find Anna.

Twenty minutes later, at the highway surveillance blind spot, Michael's Bugatti Veyron paused for a moment before speeding off towards the neighboring city.
