Chapter 34: Accident

Aurora Mansion.

Thalia stormed back from the Tudor Group, barely keeping her emotions in check. Her eyes were blazing with jealousy and resentment, and her usually sweet and innocent face now looked downright scary.

The maid cleaning the living room was so freaked out by Thalia's expression that she almost dropped the cup she was holding.

Thalia didn't even glance her way, stomping up the stairs and bolting to her room.

Sierra had just finished her beauty routine and stepped out of her bedroom just in time to see Thalia slam her door shut.

Sierra paused for a second, then followed her.

Inside the room, Thalia was going nuts, sweeping all the bottles and jars off her vanity onto the floor. The sound of stuff breaking was enough to make anyone's heart race.

The smile on Sierra's well-kept face faded a bit. She frowned slightly and stepped forward, "Thalia, what's up?"

Hearing Sierra's voice, Thalia immediately burst into tears. She ran into Sierra's arms.

Sierra only had Thalia as her kid and usually spoiled her rotten. She patted Thalia's back and comforted her, "Thalia, don't cry. Tell me, who messed with you?"

Thalia's tears flowed like a river, unstoppable. "Mom, Michael said he likes Anna. He also said he got engaged to me just to make Anna jealous. He said he doesn't like me at all!"

Hearing this, a hint of malice appeared in Sierra's eyes. She wiped Thalia's tears away, and her voice turned cold, "Stop crying, Thalia. Remember, whatever you want, you gotta fight for it yourself, especially when it comes to love."

Thalia stopped crying and looked at Sierra. Sierra continued, "Thalia, the reason Michael is still hung up on that little witch is because he hasn't had her yet. Men are all the same; once they get what they want, they stop caring."

Thalia looked at her mom, her brows knitting, "So, do I have to send Anna to Michael's bed personally?"

She didn't want that. She had waited so long for Michael and Anna to break up.

Sierra gave Thalia a reproachful look. "Thalia, there are plenty of ways to make a man forget a woman. If necessary, you can even destroy her!"

Thalia's eyes widened. Sierra patted her hair, her voice softening, the malice in her eyes fading a bit.

"Thalia, to win a man's heart, you need to use tactics. In your current situation, you can't be as tough on Michael as Anna is. Michael doesn't have much affection for you to begin with. To him, you're just someone he can use. Thalia, what you need to do is find a way to secure your position, not fall out with Michael over so-called pride," Sierra said.

Under her mother's hint, Thalia got what she needed to do.

Seeing that Thalia understood, Sierra nodded in satisfaction.

"Thalia, never forget that showing weakness is a woman's ultimate weapon," Sierra said.

Sierra always believed every man in this world fancied a gentle and understanding woman. Being too strong would only make men annoyed.

After Sierra left, Thalia thought about how to win Michael back.

She had already called Michael several times, but he didn't answer any of them. Now, she needed to find an opportunity and couldn't let him get tired of her.

Thalia was pacing like a caged animal in her room. Just when she was about to lose it, she heard a voice from downstairs, "Samuel, you're back?"

Thalia stepped out of her room and stood at the top of the stairs, an idea starting to brew in her mind.

Downstairs, Sierra was venting to Samuel about Michael and Anna.

"Honey, with the way things are, Mr. Tudor still can't let go of Anna. Even though he's engaged to Thalia, there's no guarantee he won't call it off," Sierra said.

Samuel handed her his coat, "So, what's your plan now?"

Sierra took the coat, stood in front of Samuel, and lowered her voice, "Honey, since Anna chose to go abroad back then, she shouldn't have come back. Why don't we..."

Before she could finish, Samuel's face darkened, his voice turning cold and stern. He snapped, "Sierra, I advise you to stop! We've already done enough to Anya!"

Hearing this, Sierra's tone instantly became sharp. "Samuel, what do you mean? It's been so many years. Even if you help her now, your precious niece will never forgive you!"

Samuel looked irritated and was about to retort when a sharp scream suddenly came from the top of the stairs. Samuel and Sierra quickly turned around to see Thalia miss a step and tumble down the stairs.

Samuel didn't waste time arguing with Sierra anymore and quickly ran over.

Although Thalia's face wasn't injured, her arms and legs were covered in nasty bruises. Especially her elbows and knees, where blood was gushing out.

Before Thalia passed out, she tugged at Sierra's clothes. Sierra instantly got the message and shouted to Samuel, "Hurry up and get to Radiant Life Hospital!"

Meanwhile, at the same time.

Tina had just wrapped up a commercial shoot and got into the car with Julia, planning to grab a nice meal at a restaurant. But just as the driver started the car, a black Toyota came speeding around the corner from another road!

The driver couldn't dodge in time, and the Toyota crashed into the left rear of Tina's car. The massive impact flipped the entire car over. The Toyota that hit their car didn't even stop, not giving a damn about the people in Tina's car. It sped away, turning onto another road.

Soon, a military SUV that had been chasing the Toyota stopped next to Tina's overturned Mercedes. The passenger door opened, and a tall, handsome man stepped out.

His chiseled features exuded a cold indifference, his deep eyes sharp and unyielding, his thin lips tightly pressed together. He strode towards the overturned Mercedes.

He opened the car door and glanced at the three people inside, then carried the most seriously injured Tina out first.

From the military SUV, the driver's door opened, and Patrick Anderson quickly approached Austin Stewart. Looking in the direction the Toyota had fled, he asked in a deep voice, "Austin, should we keep chasing?"

Austin looked down at the seriously injured Tina in his arms, furrowed his brow, and said, "Save the people first."

Patrick nodded and quickly rescued Julia and the driver from the Mercedes, helping them into the military SUV and heading to the nearest hospital.
