8. Will you marry us
Lucy
I screamed and stumbled back away from them at the sound of their growls and the sight of them.
I couldn’t believe it. My adoptive father went running away screaming before either of them could bite him. They turned back with their glowing red eyes. Their fangs glistened dangerously. I screamed again. I shut my eyes as they came closer, expecting them to bite me. One of them pushed his nose against me.
I shuddered and opened my eyes as I heard the car we had come in return. I scrambled towards the car. I flung the door open and crawled inside. The two of them jumped inside just after me and someone closed the door. I pressed myself against the other door, staring at them and panting in terror.
The two white wolves with glowing eyes looked between each other and me the whole way home without saying a word.
When we got back to the house. I hurried up to my room.
“Lucy, wait,” Matt called after me. He caught me around my waist. “Just take it easy. It’s okay.”
I was trembling. I couldn’t speak. So much had happened so quickly. I couldn’t even fight him.
Matt carried me down the hall to a room that wasn’t mine. It was huge, and there was the faintest scent of Tony’s cologne in the air. Tony walked ahead of us and ran a bath. Matt sat on a small bench and started to undress me. I turned away from him.
“Shh,” he said, pulling my shoes off. “It’s okay. You’re safe now. You’re safe.”
I sniffled, unable to say anything as Matt continued to undress me. He made soft pleading noises, kissing my lips and neck, but I couldn’t say anything. I was so cold. Then, Tony picked me up and carried me to the tub. The heat of the water and the soft scent coming from it made everything seem less scary.
Tony’s chest rumbled beneath my ear. He didn’t try to get me to talk. He just held me. Soon, I felt Matt join us in the tub. His hands slipped over my skin.
I eventually realized that they were bathing me. I gasped and tried to push their hands away, embarrassed, but Tony caught my hands and kissed me.
“Let us take care of you.”
I couldn’t fight him after that, so I let them do what they wanted.
“We shouldn’t have left you alone,” Tony said softly. “I didn’t know that they would be there.”
“Who?” Matt asked.
“Evelyn and Gina,” Tony said. “… among others.”
I shuddered, wondering if those two women were Evelyn and Gina or if they were someone else, but I didn’t ask.
“Oh,” Matt said. “What does that matter?”
“Matt, just because you tell someone that you’re done with them doesn’t mean they accept it.”
“Right… So?”
Tony lifted my head and looked into my eyes.
“They’re the reason you were on the floor, weren’t they? Someone who mentioned us? Women?”
I turned my head away and nodded.
“Why didn’t you say anything?” Matt asked, his voice gentle. I flinched away from him, not wanting him to touch me.
It was all too much.
Tony held me still. “Answer him, Lucy.”
“I… didn’t know what to say.”
“A woman poured a drink on me,” Matt said. “And tripped me, or whatever would have been a good start.”
Tony cupped my jaw. “I know you don’t understand what it means to be our mate, Lucy, but you will.”
He pressed a kiss to my forehead. “It means you’re the most precious thing to us. That we’ll protect you and love you. You might not be able to keep up with all the sex, but that’s okay too. We’ll live.”
“She’ll learn,” Matt said.
“She’s only half,” Tony said again.
“You keep saying that. What do you mean?”
“You’re only half werewolf. You’re half-human,” Tony said. “I’m not sure what that means completely, but it means you’re not quite like us.”
He looked over my head at Matt. “Expecting her to keep up with one of us is a lot. With both of us would be impossible, and you know it.”
“I think you’re not giving her a chance to try,” Matt said. “Maybe she’ll like it so much she won’t care. It’s not like she needs to work.”
Tony sighed. “Matt—”
Matt pulled me out of Tony’s arms and kissed my neck. His hands slipped over my breasts and gripped them gently, massaging them as I gasped.
“What do you think, Lucy? Do you think you’d enjoy being pleasured for hours on end? Having that be your only job?” He nipped at my shoulder. “It’s probably a better deal than wherever you worked before.”
I shivered at the thought.
Tony shook his head and sighed, but his eyes didn’t leave me or Matt’s hands.
“You’re terrible.”
“I think we should give her a proper orientation,” Matt said. “Isn’t that what they call it when you have a new employee? Orientation?”
“On-the-job training is what you’re thinking of.”
He groaned and shifted his hips closer to me. “That sounds so good. What do you think, Tony?”
He eyed me. I knew I was turning bright red. The pleasure was building in my body the longer Matt touched me. He looked like he didn’t want to agree. Why, I didn’t know, but then he turned to me and slipped his hand between my thighs, stroking me. I arched and cried out.
“It will have to be a very thorough training,” he said. “And you are a terrible influence.”
“I’m the only reason we ever have any fun,” Matt said as Tony kissed me and licked into my mouth.
One of his fingers slipped inside me. I gasped. Matt cooed in my ear.
“Just let him,” he said. “Let him make you feel good. This is just a warm-up.”
I didn’t know what I was supposed to do. I couldn’t speak with Tony’s tongue in my mouth. When he added another finger. I groaned. He pulled back from my lips and simply watched me as if I was the most interesting thing in the world.
His gaze made it hard to stay still.
“We should get out,” Tony said, pulling his fingers out of me.
“Yes,” Matt groaned and lifted me out of the tub. I tried to cover my body, but Matt was already carrying me out of the tub, dripping wet, and hurrying into the bedroom.
He dropped me on the bed and crawled on top of me, kissing me desperately.
“Don’t worry,” Matt said. “We’ll teach you everything you need to know, so you won’t ever worry about us looking anywhere else.”
Tony scoffed from farther away. Matt’s hands roamed all over me, massaging and stroking me. I felt like my whole body was filled with electricity when he thrust two fingers into me and rolled his erection against my hip.
“You sound so good, Lucy,” Matt whispered. “We’ll be so good to you.”
Tony crawled onto the bed beside us. I swallowed as I realized that he was hard and looking down at me. Matt kissed his way down my neck to my chest, and Tony lowered his head down to lick at the seam of my mouth.
“What he means is that even if you can’t keep up, there won’t be anyone else.”
Then, he kissed me, sliding his tongue into my mouth.
Soon, I was so relaxed and so lost in how good it all felt I could only feel the heat and pressure of one of them pushing into me. It didn’t hurt the way I’d heard it would to have him inside me. I wasn’t even sure who it was, but the other twin trailed his fingers across my back and tipped my head back to take my mouth.
Whoever was on top of me thrust slow and deep until I was shaking and screaming at how good it felt.
I lost track of how many times they passed me back and forth, how many times they had me, but when it was over, I felt so relaxed and safe, surrounded by the scents and snuggled between them, that all my fear seemed like a bad dream.
“Will you marry us, Lucy?” Tony asked. “Will you stay with us?”
“Yes,” I whispered, curling closer to him as I went to sleep, thinking that even if this was a dream, it was the best thing that had ever happened to me.
