Chapter 12 - Talk with the Parents
As they left the bedroom, Dominick mindlinked his dad to see if he and his mom could meet them in the Alpha's office. On their way, they passed the office of the Beta just as he came out, followed by an outraged Amber. The Beta Jonathan gave them a friendly smile, but Amber glared as they continued walking.

"Dad, I don't care what you or the Alpha say. That bitch has to go." Dominick stopped to turn around, still holding Kaleigh's hand.

"Beta Jonathan, I want to remind you of my father's statement. If Amber attempts to cause harm to my mate or me, she will be banned from the pack." Dominick spoke with pure ice in his voice. Kaleigh had never heard him sound so cold.

"I was just reminding my headstrong daughter of what the Alpha said, Dominick. She will behave herself. I will see to it. Welcome to the pack, young lady. I look forward to getting to know you better at tonight's dinner." Beta Jonathan grabbed his daughter by the arm and led her to the steps. They could still hear her arguing with him as they walked.

"I pick up dark energy around her, Dominick. We need to watch our backs. I think it wouldn't hurt for me to put a protection spell around us, just to be safe. What do you think?" Kaleigh looked up at Dominick, who was smiling down at her.

"I think I love my mate even more. Do whatever you think is necessary. I don't think she could hurt us, but that doesn't mean she won't try something." He leaned down to kiss her before walking the rest of the way to his father's office.

"Hello, son, Kaleigh. Did you two get everything settled?" Kaleigh couldn't help blushing, thinking about their actions, but she kept her face straight.

"Yes, Alpha Dillon, we got settled. Your packhouse is beautiful. I can't wait for Dominick to give me a tour. It's very peaceful here." Kaleigh smiled at both the Alpha and Luna.

"I'm glad you like it, Kaleigh. Now, what did you two need to talk to us about? I am assuming it has to do with your commitment ceremony." The Alpha sat behind his desk while Luna Alannah stood slightly behind him.

Dominick led Kaleigh to the two chairs in front of the desk, where they sat, holding hands. She looked over at Dom, who slightly nodded his head, giving her the courage to talk.

"It has to do with that, but there is more to it. I'd like your honest opinions because I don't want to endanger anyone." Kaleigh was shaking with worry that they were going to send her away. Alannah saw her fear and pulled up a chair to sit next to her.

"Kaleigh dear, please don't be scared. Whatever you say, I'm sure we can get through it." She squeezed Kaleigh's hand in support, calming her a little.

Kaleigh took a deep breath and repeated everything she had told Dominick when they met. Her eyes went back and forth between the Alpha and Luna so she could read their expressions, but they didn't give away much. They both listened intently, nodding from time to time and asking questions to get clarification on a few details.

"So you see why I'm worried I'd be putting this pack in jeopardy. If the Dark Sphere Coven discovers my existence, it could be detrimental to everyone." Kaleigh was surprised when the older couple looked at each other and smiled.

"Kaleigh, Dominick didn't tell you what I am, did he?" Luna Alannah asked her quietly, still holding her hand in comfort.

"No, I assumed you were a werewolf." She looked at Dominick in confusion, and he smiled at her.

"I'm actually a hybrid as well, Kaleigh. I'm part werewolf and part witch. My mother was of the Crystal Moon Coven. We also practice pure magic. Kaleigh, you're the perfect mate for Dominick and will make a powerful Luna. If those black magic witches dare to come near us, we will be able to stop them. You're not in this alone. You're part of our family now, and we fight for our family." Kaleigh was still processing that the Luna was a hybrid, and everything else she said started sinking in. After all this time, Kaleigh felt like she was somewhere she belonged and didn't have to hide anymore.

"Are you the only witch in the pack?" Kaleigh asked curiously.

"Yes, I am the only witch here, or I was. Now there will be two of us. Everyone in the pack knows I'm a hybrid, but I don't go around casting spells all of the time. I have a feeling you're the same way. Am I wrong?" Kaleigh smiled brightly.

"You're correct. No one in my pack other than my aunt and uncle knew about me being a witch, so everything I did was in secret. I would do little spells on people to calm them down when they were getting out of control. I also would practice some things in the woods when no one was around, but I kept that part of myself hidden. I'd love to sit down and talk with you more about this sometime. My mom died when I was only five, so I have the knowledge that we witches are born with, but I never learned anything on strengthening my magic or understanding my full power." Kaleigh really hoped the Luna would help her so she could connect with her other half.

"Of course, we can talk, Kaleigh. Our covens were very similar, so we probably have a lot in common. Your parents would be so proud of the beautiful, strong woman you have become, and I can't wait to see you succeed even more." They hugged again, and Kaleigh felt the last piece of doubt leave her heart. Now she could fully commit herself to Dominick. Just as she was about to say something, they heard running footsteps coming from outside the door. Kaleigh immediately got worried, but Dominick groaned.

"Get ready for hurricane Felicia." At that moment, the office door flew open. A beautiful teenage girl came barreling in wearing jeans and a bright pink t-shirt.

Kaleigh remembered Dom said he had a sister, and she looked exactly like his mother, only shorter. She had long curly black hair, tan skin, and golden-brown eyes. Her eyes were on Kaleigh as she came running over.

"Is this her? Is this your mate Dominick? She's so pretty. My name is Felicia. I am this big dummies sister." Kaleigh stared at the girl in shock. Felicia was talking a mile a minute.

"It's nice to meet you, Felicia. My name is Kaleigh." She held her hand to the girl, but Felicia brushed her hand aside and hugged her. Kaleigh timidly hugged her back, she always thought Allie had a lot of energy, but Felicia would run rings around her.
"What pack are you from? Do you have any siblings? How far did you have to travel to get here? Your skin is so white, and your hair is pretty. Is that your natural hair color?" Kaleigh was trying to keep up with all the questions thrown at her when she heard Dominick whisper in her ear.

"Why don't you put a calming spell on her for us? No one would mind." Kaleigh held back her laugh as Felicia looked at him in confusion.

"What do you mean about putting a spell on me? Are you a witch?" Felicia's eyes got big as saucers.

"I'm a hybrid werewolf and witch. To answer your other questions, I come from the Pale Moon Pack. I have no siblings, but my cousin Allie is the mate of Dominick's future Beta Lenny. Our pack is only about an hour from here. This is my natural hair color." Felicia was still staring at her with her eyes wide.

"You're a witch too, like my mom? How did you remember all the questions I asked? I usually don't remember them because I say whatever pops into my head." Kaleigh smiled at her.

"Yes, I'm like your mom, and I have a good memory. Please don't apologize for being energetic, Felicia. You are perfect the way you are."
Felicia jumped into Kaleigh's arms again, hugging her.
"Dominick, you better not mess this up. I always wanted a sister. It will be your head if you take her away from me." Felecia was pointing her finger at her brother, and everyone laughed.

"No worries, runt, maybe we'll even let you come to our commitment ceremony." Dominick laughed at his sister's pout.

"You can't keep me away. I'm the Alpha's daughter." Kaleigh laughed at their banter. Their parents had been quietly watching the young people smiling at each other.

"Felicia, let Dominick show Kaleigh around and get something to eat. You will have plenty of time to spend with Kaleigh later."
Luna Alannah spoke firmly to her daughter.
"Okay, mom, I have homework to do anyway. Kaleigh, I will see you tonight at the welcome dinner. Everyone is super excited to meet you." Felicia waved as she left out of the office.

"I'm sorry about my sister. She can be a little overwhelming, especially with new people." Kaleigh chuckled at Dominick, who was shaking his head.

"She's lovely. When Allie gets here, I'm sure they will get along fine. They are a lot alike." The Alpha and Luna laughed.

"Yes, we met Allie briefly when they had their commitment ceremony. She's a charming girl. It's nice that the two of you will have some family here. Dominick, why don't you show Kaleigh around and grab a snack. We have some things to get ready for your welcome dinner tonight." Dominick nodded at his parents.

"I told you they would love you, Kaleigh." Dominick smiled as he took her hand, walking down the hall.

"They're fantastic, Dom. I already feel a real connection with your mother. Why didn't you tell me she was a hybrid like me?" She asked him curiously. Kaleigh knew that if he'd told her, it would have made her want to come to his pack even sooner.

"I wanted you to come here on your own. I didn't want you to think I was using my mom to influence your decision. Besides, spending the past week with you at your packhouse was nice. When you told me about being a hybrid, I knew that you and my mom would hit it off." As they walked, Kaleigh was taking in the surroundings.

They were still on the third floor, walking to the opposite end of where the Alpha's office was located. Dominick opened a door at the end and turned on a light. It was a beautiful office with comfortable furniture and large windows letting in lots of natural light.

"This is my office. I don't use it much right now, but after our commitment ceremony, my dad will want to start having me take over some of his responsibilities. I never liked coming here because it reminded me that I had not yet found my Luna. Now that I have you by my side, we can start decorating it and making it comfortable. You're my partner Kaleigh, so this will be our office, not just mine."

Kaleigh started walking around the office, taking it all in. There was an enormous desk with two chairs facing it. There was also a nice black leather couch, two black armchairs, and a teal-colored glass coffee table. The black furniture contrasted with the white walls and light gray floors nicely. Kaleigh would like to add some color, but there was plenty of time for that.

"I really like this office, Dom. I think we will work well together here. Thank you for calling me your partner. You're a true gentleman, my handsome mate." Kaleigh walked up to him and put her arms around his neck. He met her halfway, kissing her soft lips. Dominick's mind automatically went to their earlier activities, and he started to get aroused. Kaleigh pulled back, laughing.

"I guess you didn't get enough earlier. Maybe after our dinner tonight we can have some more fun. I don't need you walking around with a tent in your pants." She moved against his hardness, causing him to groan in frustration.

"Kaleigh, you are turning into quite the little tease. If you keep doing that, I won't be able to wait until after dinner." She smiled and used her hand to tease him a little more. Kaleigh could feel him getting harder in her hand, causing her to get excited.

"Now that we have your parents' blessing let's not wait for the commitment ceremony. I want to feel this inside me." She was still lightly stroking him.

"Kaleigh, are you sure? We can still wait, although if you keep doing that, I will need a new pair of pants." Kaleigh gave him one final squeeze before removing her hand.

"I'm sure, Dominick. I wanted to wait because I knew it would strengthen our bond, and if your parents didn't want me here, I knew it would kill me to leave. Now that they have accepted me and I have agreed to stay here, we no longer need to wait."

Dominick was speechless. He had been prepared to give her as much time as she needed. Now that Kaleigh was saying she was ready, he wanted to throw her on the couch and take her. Dominick would do it right, though, tonight after their dinner.

"Okay, Kaleigh, we'll do it tonight. If you change your mind or have any hesitation, please tell me. I won't be mad." He was still trying to get his erection under control from her earlier teasing when she lightly rubbed her finger over it again.

"I won't change my mind. If we had more time, I would say let's do it now, Dom. I think we better wait until we can truly enjoy it." Dominick leaned down to kiss her again, taking her breath away. His tongue was playing with hers, and she felt her knees go weak. He was devouring her mouth so aggressively she could hardly keep up. When he finally pulled away, they were both out of breath.
"Alright, Kaleigh, have it your way, but be prepared for a long night." Kaleigh chuckled as they headed out of the office.
