Chapter 56 - I Need You

Dominick watched as Lenny and Tom drug Patrick away. He still would have liked to rip his throat out, but that would have been too quick. Making him suffer was better in the long run. After they were out of sight, Dominick only had one thought. He wanted to be with his mate.

Dominick didn't say anything to his parents as he walked out of the room. He mindlinked Kaleigh and told her that Patrick was in the dungeon, so it was all clear. He also told her to make sure she was alone by the time he got to the office because what he wanted to do with her didn't need an audience.

Kaleigh was glad when she got the mindlink from Dom saying that Patrick was in the dungeon. She told Nikki the good news as well. Nikki took a sigh of relief and smiled at Kaleigh.

"Thank you, Kaleigh, for everything."

"You're welcome, Nikki. Why don't you go to your cabin and start packing your things? I will mindlink you when I have your room ready in the packhouse, okay?" Kaleigh figured this would be the best excuse to have Nikki leave before Dom got to the office.

"Okay, Kaleigh, I will. No rush, though. Please take your time." Nikki quickly hugged Kaleigh before opening the office door, where she almost collided with Dominick.

Dominick nodded at Nikki as she walked past him. He saw his mate and wanted to touch her soft skin. As soon as he was inside the office, he closed the door and locked it. He wanted no interruptions.
