Epilogue

Jasmine and Brandie were running around the packhouse in excitement. They turned five today, and the pack had a big birthday party planned for them. Kaleigh heard the twins running her way, and she smiled.

Jasmine and Brandie were identical in appearance, but that is where the similarities stopped. Where Jasmine was outgoing and afraid of nothing, Brandie was quiet and cautious of everything. They complimented each other well, though.

When Jasmine was getting too wild or doing something that Brandie knew would get her into trouble, Brandie was the one who could redirect her. On the other hand, when Brandie was too introverted, Jasmine would push her to be more adventurous.

Kaleigh and Dominick couldn't have been happier. Their girls were the light of their lives. As they were standing in their office looking over plans for expanding the training facility Kaleigh rubbed her swollen belly while she waited for the twins.

Kaleigh was pregnant with a male pup and was due within the next month. Once everything settled down from their wedding and becoming Alpha and Luna, they were working non-stop. Between the twins and the pack, they barely had time to breathe.

"Mommy, mommy, when will our party start?" Jasmine came flying into the office and ran full speed toward her mother. Dominick reached out and grabbed the pup before she could reach Kaleigh.

"Jasmine, you know you have to be careful because mommy has a pup in her belly." Dominick hugged his daughter and kissed her forehead.

"I know, daddy, I wasn't going to run into her. When can we have our party?" Jasmine obviously had a one-track mind. Dominick tickled her before putting her back on her feet.

"It's almost time, girls. We are just waiting for your grandma and grandpa." Kaleigh walked over to her two little pups and crouched down so she could hug them.

They looked so much like her that it still sometimes shocked her. They had her long hair and emerald green eyes. The only difference was their golden tan skin.

"Mommy, when will our brother be here?" Brandie put her hand on Kaleigh's belly to see if she could feel the pup moving. He was an active pup, and Kaleigh said she had a feeling he would come out running.

"He will be here in a few weeks. You two will be amazing big sisters to this little guy." Kaleigh smiled at the two excited little girls.

"Who is ready for a party?" Dillon said as he and Alannah walked into the office with big smiles.

"Grandpa, grandma, you're here. We've been waiting for you." Jasmine and Brandie ran over to their grandparents. Dillon scooped up Jasmine, and Alannah did the same with Brandie.

"We wouldn't miss this for the world. Are you two ready to go downstairs? Everyone's waiting on you." Alannah kissed Brandie's cheek.

"Yes, let's go, let's go." Jasmine said excitedly.

"Jasmine, you know mommy and daddy will take us when it's time." Brandie said quietly. Kaleigh smiled at them.

"I think we should go now, don't you, daddy?" Kaleigh looked at Dominick, giving him a wink. They had a surprise for the girls.

"Yes, I agree, mommy." Dominick walked over and put his arm around Kaleigh.

As the group made their way downstairs, they could hear music coming from outside. Jasmine and Brandie were practically bursting at the seams in their grandparent's arms.

When they walked outside, there were tables spread throughout the garden around the packhouse. One table was filled with presents, and several others were filled with food. Jasmine and Brandie giggled when they saw everything.

The entire pack was there, including Allie and Lenny with their three-year-old pup Devin. Vince and Lydia had their newborn pup Jillian in a stroller. Noah and Celeste, who had decided to stay with the pack, were there. They had two cubs. Hannah is four and is a hybrid werebear witch. Kyle is two and is a werebear.

Kaleigh watched as the twins were looking around for someone. She knew who they were looking for, and that was their surprise. Kaleigh looked toward Dominick and nodded. He put two fingers in his mouth and whistled loudly.

"Daddy, what did you do that for? I think my ears won't work anymore." Jasmine put her little hands over her ears, staring at her dad.

"I was letting you and Brandies surprise guest know it's time to come out." Jasmine and Brandie looked at each other and then looked back at the crowd.

Out from behind everyone walked Felicia, who was pregnant with her first pup, and by her side was her mate, Gage. Jasmine and Brandie jumped from their grandparent's arms and ran to their favorite auntie.

Felicia felt tears in her eyes as she looked at her nieces running toward her. She hadn't seen them in months due to how far her mate's pack was from White Raven.

"Auntie Licia, you made it." Jasmine squealed with delight.

"I wasn't going to miss my two best girls' birthday party." Felicia squatted down with the help of Gage so she could hug the girls. She was due any day but had to see Jasmine and Brandie.

"Felicia, how are you doing?" Kaleigh walked up to her sister-in-law, helping her back up so she could hug her.

"I'm okay, but tired all the time. This little pup is taking it out of me. I don't know how you did it with two, Kaleigh." Felicia smiled at Kaleigh and then hugged her brother. She missed her pack, but she loved her mate. Gage put his arm around her, and his other hand went to her large belly.

"Felicia, you've been amazing, still trying to do your Luna duties while hauling around our pup." Gage looked at his mate with nothing but love in his eyes. Felicia felt herself blushing; he was so good to her.

"Gage, how is your pack doing up north?" Dominick shook Gage's hand. He was thankful that his sister had a good mate.

"It's gotten better. We had that rogue issue, but now it's under control. Felicia wasn't going to have it any other way. She said there was no way she was missing this party, and I wouldn't let her come on her own." Jasmine and Brandie held Felicia's hands, smiling at her.

Felicia had been their nanny until she met her mate a year ago. They had both been so upset when they realized that she would be leaving their pack to be a Luna in another pack. Felicia missed the girls like crazy, but she was happy in the Rock Mountain Pack.

Dillon and Alannah walked over, smiling. They had insisted on traveling up to the Rock Mountain Pack and riding back with Felicia and Gage. They split their time between the two packs now.

"Well, girls, I don't think those presents will open themselves. maybe I should see if any of them are for me." Dillon laughed at the little girl's faces when they looked over at the mountain of presents.

"No, grandpa, those are for us, but you can help open them if you want." Jasmine, a definite grandpa's girl, ran to take his hand as they walked over to the presents.

"Is it really okay if we open them now, mommy?" Brandie asked quietly.

"Yes, honey, go with grandma." Alannah took Brandie's hand and led her to the table, where Jasmine waited impatiently while the other guests gathered around. The other four adults hung back to watch.

"Have you told them yet, Kaleigh?" Felicia asked quietly while she leaned against Gage as they watched the girls.

"No, we thought we would do it tonight. I'm worried about what this means for them, but the Moon Goddess said it would all be explained when necessary. I don't like not knowing what is coming and how it will affect my daughters." Kaleigh rubbed her belly, which was almost as big as Felicia's.

"What exactly did she say again?" Felicia asked.

"She said that when the girls get their wolves, they would be like Skylar and know magic. The difference is one of their wolves will be all white, and the other will be all black. The black wolf will know all black magic and how to defeat it. The white wolf will know all pure magic, not just from Emerald Stone, but all pure magic from other covens as well. Together they will be needed to defeat what's coming. She wouldn't say more than that, but she said we have time to let them enjoy their childhood."

Kaleigh was scared that her daughters would have to face something worse than Brielle or Josephine, but what could it be? She knew that they were strong and their wolves would be strong too, but with any fight, there is always a chance things can go wrong.

Dominick wrapped his arms around Kaleigh. He could feel her worry. He tried to tell himself they needed to let things happen as they will, but it's hard to say that when it comes to his little girls.

Dominick wanted the world to be safe for them, so they never had any worry. That doesn't seem to be the case, though. In the years to come, they would have a fight on their hands that made the two he and Kaleigh had look like child's play.

Dominick watched as they opened one present after another, squealing with excitement with each gift. He knew they were strong and would get through whatever was going to happen. He and Kaleigh would also be there to help in whatever way they could. Dominick would keep the faith that everything would work out.
