Chapter 66 - The Wedding
It had been a month since White Raven had defeated Josephine. The clean-up of the pack grounds didn't take long because the extra help they had for the fight also stayed to help with the clean-up.

Kaleigh and Dominick were getting ready for their wedding. They decided they would rather do a wedding than the typical commitment ceremony because they had already marked each other.

Kaleigh was in their bedroom getting ready, while Dominick was in one of the guest rooms. Kaleigh looked at herself in the mirror and adjusted her dress. She loved the dress because it was simple and not over the top.

The dress was off-white satin that fit her snuggly to her thighs. There was a slit running from her thigh to the floor, letting her move freely. The dress was sleeveless and had no accents or anything other than a thin green satin belt around her waist.

Her veil was long and attached to a gold crown that Alannah had given her. The bridesmaids were wearing emerald green dresses that were similar in style to her wedding dress. Jasmine and Brandie also had little green dresses the same color as the bridesmaids.

Allie, Mollie, Felicia, and Celeste were her bridesmaids. Nikki and Lydia would carry the twins down the aisle before the procession. After Kaleigh and Dominick say their vows, the Alpha would officially name Dominick Alpha and Kaleigh Luna.

"Kaleigh, you're beautiful." Alannah walked up behind Kaleigh with tears in her eyes. Kaleigh's dress may be simple, but she looked like a princess. Her strawberry blonde hair was done in a french twist with a few loose curls around her face.

"Thank you, Luna. This doesn't even seem real, I already feel like Dominick and I are married." Kaleigh turned toward Alannah, who was more like a mother to her now.

"I know, dear, but this will be nice for you to make it official. I'm glad to let you two take over the pack, so now I can focus on being a grandma." They walked over to where the twins were sleeping in their bassinets.

"They're getting so big, it feels like the time is flying by. Before we know it, they'll be finding their mates."

"Oh, Kaleigh, don't say that. The time goes by quickly, but enjoy every minute you have with them. Never take one second for granted, no matter how insignificant it may seem at the time. You and Dominick are wonderful parents, and I can't wait until we have some more pups running around." Kaleigh started laughing.

"Don't say that, Luna. Dominick is already looking forward to my next heat, but I want the twins to get a little older before we have anymore." Kaleigh was still getting adjusted to the two they had and didn't think she could take having more pups this soon.

"I'm sure you'll know when it will be the right time. In the meantime, we can all just spoil these two beauties." Alannah leaned down and kissed each pup's head.

Dominick nervously adjusted his tuxedo. Even though he and Kaleigh had already marked each other and had pups, he couldn't help being nervous. Dominick guessed that it went with the territory. Having the wedding just felt like it was making everything final.

"Son, you don't have anything to worry about. I don't think your mate is going to run away now." Alpha Dillon put his hand on his son's shoulder. He could see the worry on Dominick's face.

"I know, dad, but I'll still be glad to see her coming down the aisle to me." He checked himself once more before turning around toward his dad and groomsmen.

Lenny, Tom, Noah, and Vince were his groomsmen. Lenny walked up next to him and smiled.

"Dom, it seems like you were my best man just yesterday, and I was nervous like you are. Are you ready to say your vows and become Alpha?" Lenny ran his hand through his always messy hair laughing at Dominick's expression.

"Lenny, you're no help." Dominick muttered under his breath to his beta. Not only was he getting a wife, but he was also getting an entire pack. Lenny started laughing again to see the always put-together Dominick looking like a nervous school boy.

There was a knock on the door, and everyone turned to see who it was. Carla stuck her head in and smiled.

"Guys, it's time to get this show on the road. Dominick, you can head to the altar. Alpha, Kaleigh is waiting for you. Groomsmen, the bridesmaids will be out in a minute."

Carla backed out of the room with a heavy heart. She was glad everyone in the pack had been so good to her and Amber. Kaleigh had even asked them to help with the wedding, but she missed Jonathan. He would have been glad to see Amber with her mate and already pregnant with their first pup.

Dominick headed to the altar while his dad went to get Kaleigh. Alpha Randall and Luna Leila couldn't come to the wedding due to issues within their pack. So Dillon was walking Kaleigh down the aisle.

Their wedding was being held outside in the garden. When Dominick got to the altar covered in white roses, he turned around to wait.

First down the aisle was Luna Alannah, who walked up to her son and kissed his cheek before sitting down. Nikki and Lydia were next, holding the twins in their arms. Dominick's face lit up at seeing his daughters.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen were next. Dominick barely glanced at them as they took their places on either side of the altar. He only had eyes for one person as he held his breath. The music changed to Bryan Adams' (Everything I Do) I Do It For You.

Dominick felt his eyes tearing up at seeing his mate walking down the aisle with his father. Kaleigh was a vision in her white dress and heels. She seemed to tower over everyone walking regally like a queen.

Alpha Dillon was grinning ear to ear like a proud father. He loved his son's mate as if she were his daughter. When he gave Kaleigh's hand to Dominick, he could not have been happier.

Dominick and Kaleigh only had eyes for each other. It was as if no one else was even there. They barely heard the words of the elder who was officiating their wedding until it was time for their vows. Kaleigh went first.

"Dominick, you came into my life at a time when I thought I would never be able to accept a mate. Now you're not only my mate. You're my love, my heart, my soul, and my best friend. I love you with my whole heart in a way that can't be expressed by words or actions. I promise to be your faithful wife and mate today and every day. I promise to love you like no other. I promise to cherish you from now until forever. Whatever obstacles come our way, I will remain by your side as your partner. You are my light in the darkness, and I will always love you."

Kaleigh had tears running down her face as she spoke to Dominick. They didn't write down their vows. They had decided to say what was in their hearts at the time of the wedding. Dominick went next.

"Kaleigh, I had been waiting for my mate and true love for a long time when I found you. You are a vision of beauty and grace that makes me want to bow at your feet. I love you more and more every day. You have brought me love, excitement, and a feeling of completeness. You make me whole in a way I never thought possible. You're my soul mate Kaleigh and I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you as happy as you have made me by coming into my life. I will always love you."

"Dominick, do you take Kaleigh as your wife, mate, and partner from this day forward until death parts you?"
	"I do."

"Kaleigh, do you take Dominick as your husband, mate, and partner from this day forward until death parts you?"

	"I do."

"I now pronounce you man and wife. Mates and partners. You may now kiss the bride."

Everyone cheered as Dominick kissed Kaleigh passionately, not caring who was there watching. Kaleigh was blushing, but she kissed him back just as hard. When he pulled away, they both had tears running down their faces.

Alpha Dillon and Luna Alannah then stood up next to the couple to officially pronounce them Alpha and Luna.

"Pack members, family, and friends. Not only is today the day my son takes Kaleigh as his wife, but they are also now your Alpha and Luna. Introducing Alpha Dominick and Luna Kaleigh."

Dillon hugged Dominick and then Kaleigh. Alannah did the same. Dominick looked over at Kaleigh and smiled. Their world was now complete. They held hands as they walked toward the packhouse where the reception was being held.

Everyone followed behind the new Alpha and Luna. The pack had hope for a brighter future and a new beginning. Today was a day filled with love and laughter. Tomorrow was yet to come, but the pack knew they could handle whatever obstacles were heading their way.
