Chapter 24 - Next Steps

Kaleigh woke up wrapped in Dominick’s warm arms; she smiled to herself and snuggled closer to him. His scent was all around her, making her feel calm. She could hear his soft snoring and didn’t want to wake him. She felt a lot better after getting some rest. Doing the spell on Amber had taken more of her energy than she had expected.

Kaleigh thought about everything they had learned, and she was anxious to get to the area where Amber had her accident to see if there was any dark energy there. It concerned her that Alannah thought so strongly that it was a witch that put a spell on Amber. Kaleigh couldn’t understand the purpose of a witch to place a spell on an individual in a wolf pack unless the spell was to act as a spy. She was still lost in her thoughts when she felt Dominick move behind her. He pulled her closer to kiss her neck and took a deep breath.

“How long have you been awake, sweetheart?” Dominick asked in his sleepy, sexy deep voice.

“Not long, what time is it? I feel like I have been sleeping a long time.” Kaleigh turned over, so she was facing him and kissed his lips. That was when she noticed that they were both naked; it was hard to ignore the large rod pushing on her abdomen.

“It’s almost dinner time. We have about an hour to get ready.” Kaleigh smiled to herself, thinking about what they could do in that hour.

“I don’t remember taking my clothes off before lying down.” She raised her eyebrows at him, and he smiled with a devilish look in his eyes.

“I just figured it would be one less thing we needed to do before dinner because I knew you would want to change.” Dominick smiled, thinking he had come up with a good excuse quickly when the truth was he wanted to feel her soft skin against his while they slept. Although now Ash was in his head telling him they still had plenty of time before dinner.

“Oh really, and your little friend that is poking me just wanted to say hi?” Kaleigh smiled as she reached her hand down between them, taking him in her hand. She began stroking him slowly while enjoying the look of pleasure on his face. Felling him get even bigger was exciting her; she could feel the wetness pooling between her legs.

She was still lying on her side facing him; she spread her legs apart, putting one over his hip while moving her bottom half until he was at her entrance. She pushed the tip of his penis around her hole, getting even wetter as they both moaned. Kaleigh couldn’t stand it anymore, so she guided him inside of her. When thy were fully connected, they both let out a sigh of satisfaction.

Dominick was going crazy being inside Kaleigh; he would never get over how good it felt. They both started moving their hips, meeting each other’s thrusts, but it wasn’t fast enough for him. Dominick rolled Kaleigh over on her back while holding one of her legs up so he could get in as deep as possible, and he started slamming into her. At first, he was worried he would hurt her because he was so big, and she was still new to this, but the look on her face told him otherwise. She grabbed his buttock and pulled him even faster to her.

Dominick started moving in and out as quickly as he could. Her juices were flowing all around him, making it a very slippery ride. Ash was in his head, howling with delight. Dominick was giving her everything he had. He was almost out of his head with her scent all around him and her moans of pleasure. When he finally felt her walls clenching around him as she screamed out his name, he came too. They were both panting as he fell on top of her. He was still deep inside of her and was not ready to leave that spot yet. He felt Kaleigh chuckle, and it almost made him get hard again.

“What are you laughing at? I can barely catch my breath, and you are laughing?” He tried to sound hurt, but he smiled back when he looked at her smiling face. Kaleigh rubbed her hand on his cheek.

“I was laughing because I know we have only done this a couple of times, but I already can’t get enough. I am thinking about returning after dinner so we can do some more. What have you turned me into, Dom?” She ran her hands through his short hair, looking into his eyes lovingly. “How much time do we have before dinner?”

“We can always be late. You did need your rest after all.” Kaleigh laughed again as she felt him getting hard inside of her.

Their second time around was faster than the first. After taking a quick shower and getting dressed, they headed downstairs for dinner. Even though they had done some extracurricular activities before coming down, they were only a few minutes late. Dominick led Kaleigh over to the table where the Alpha, Luna, Beta, and Carla were all sitting. Felicia was there too, but she was busy on her cell phone and barely paid them any attention. They all smiled when they saw the couple heading their way.

“Good evening, everyone. I hope you weren’t waiting for us for too long.” Dominick held out Kaleigh’s chair for her as he addressed everyone at the table.

“No, son, we knew Kaleigh was pretty tired from earlier, so we didn’t mind waiting.” Alpha Dillon answered his son as Dominick took his seat.

“Kaleigh, we have explained everything we learned today to Jonathan and Carla. We also explained the trip we wanted to take in the morning. So they are all caught up. Dillon also mindlinked everyone to let them know about the protection spell you would be placing on the pack. They have been very receptive to it, so whenever you have your energy back, please feel free to place your spell.” Alannah smiled at Kaleigh. She was happy to have a kindred spirit in her son’s mate. She believed Kaleigh was even stronger than she knew, and once she started practicing more of her powers, Kaleigh would be even more impressive than she already was.

“Thanks, Luna. I will do it after dinner. I feel myself getting stronger with each spell I do.” Kaleigh looked over toward the Beta and his mate.

“As the Luna said, I would like to go to the place where Amber had her accident. I think we may be able to get some answers there. I will also place a spell on Amber that allows her wolf to talk to my wolf, Skylar, without Amber’s knowledge. That way, Nia can let us know if she notices any changes. Nia was very concerned for Amber, and she was on the verge of leaving her. I think we stepped in just in time to hopefully save them both.”

“Kaleigh, you don’t know how much it means to us that you are willing to help Amber. Many others would have just locked her up and forgotten about her. You are going out of your way to help her. Kaleigh, you will be an incredible Luna.” Carla smiled at Kaleigh sitting across from her. She had never thought that this young woman would be the one that could save her daughter. If Kaleigh is successful, they will owe her for the rest of their lives.

“I am glad that I can help. I will let you know if we find anything tomorrow where Amber’s accident was. I will also tell you any information that Nia provides to us. Please let me know if you think of anything that may help us. I will be placing the spells after dinner.” With that, they all started eating their meals.

Kaleigh was thinking of the spells that she would place and of their trip tomorrow to where Amber had her accident. She was still lost in thought when suddenly she had a sharp pain in her head. Kaleigh closed her eyes, grabbing her head and moaning in pain. Dominick immediately pulled her onto his lap.

“Kaleigh, what’s wrong?” Dominick was scared. He had never seen anything cause her pain like that before.

“I don’t know. I suddenly had a sharp pain in my head, but it had already started subsiding as quickly as it came.” Kaleigh leaned against Dominick, thankful for his touch to help ease the pain she was feeling. She glanced at the others around the table, and they were all looking at her with wide eyes. Actually, they were looking toward her neck. Kaleigh looked down to see what they were staring at, and she gasped. The stone in her charm was glowing bright green.
