I can't believe I finally have her back in my arms.
For weeks I have been struggling with sleepless nights, fearful that I had lost her forever. My worst nightmare was when I learned she was the King's fiancé, a Lycan with the highest authority. See, my pack is fearless and invincible, but against Lycans we don't stand a chance. So going to war to get our Luna back should be an irresponsible decision, and besides, none of our allies would support us in this, despite a signed agreement.
And just as I feared the worst, the Moon Goddess herself came and settled the dispute.

I smile and caress her face. "I do intend to, my dear. We will go through the formalities first. And then we'll be alone". Horrified, I stare at the place where I felt the movement. "Hey, did he really kick me?" I ask in surprise. "I'm his father!" Rain laughs. "I think he wants to let you know he'll be here soon and you need to get ready," she tells me. "Thankfully, they were nice to me and kept quiet today. When they make havoc, I can't leave my bed all day," she continues. Again I kiss her belly, the feeling of finally becoming a father is overwhelming. Two pups from Rain and I.
"You have me now and I'll take care of you," I promise. "Our dream has come true, Rain." I pull her close to me again, my Luna with my pups.
Half an hour later, I see we are approaching the pack.
Looking at Rain now, I notice that she has fallen asleep. She is snug against my chest, probably my heartbeat and warmth have lulled her to sleep.
"Rain, we're here. Look, the airstrip is full of wolves waiting".....
