118. Matteo vs Leo pt 2

Meanwhile Leo chased hard.

C: What are you doing?! The girl is taken, you fool!

Cyrus was too not bothered about this chase. He’s mind was too absorbed in finding his true mate.

L: She’s not! Karina may have been marked but she hasn’t turned. What if that prick changes his mind and really turns her this time?

Cyrus gave up on convincing Leo. He was too hell bent on keeping that girl safe. But he knew all too well, that Leo couldn’t control his thirst. The real reason why he was chasing her was because he was hungry.

C: There are other preys out there you know?

L: I’m not going to eat her!

C: Yeah? Keep telling yourself that. Truth is, you caught scent of her blood and you want her bad.

Leo shut his wolf out and chased him harder.

Soon after, Leo caught up to them leapt over Knight stopping him dead in his tracks.

L: Put her down wolf, I’m taking her back with me.

Knight growled back at Leo.

K: Taking her back? You just want to give her a spanking, don’t you? You dirty cop! Karina is my lamb, and I won’t give her so easily to you.

L: Fine I guess it’s your funeral teen wolf.

Loud growls and snarls from the wolves facing each other erupted and Karina panicked looking back at Leo’s wolf who was glowing his eyes madly blue at her. She whimpered as they started running towards one another.

“Ggg…Guys?”

Matteo charged with speed, and Leo having grasped hold of his wolf speed attacked Matteo from the side, bashing his head on his side, making him fly up against the tree. Karina yelped out, loosing hold on Knight’s back, and fell to the ground heavily.

M: KARINA!

Before Matteo could even hit the tree, Leo leapt to the air and brought his body down heavily biting and clawing at his neck like a mad wolf. Matteo growled out of pain and shock.

Karina slowly came to and saw Leo’s wolf turning around to face her. Fear spoke in her eyes as his sharp teeth growled at her dripping with saliva.

Karina went on her front side, whimpering scared trying to get to Matteo unconscious wolf.

She suddenly heard fast bone cracking behind her, and saw Leo jogging towards her in his now naked body. Afraid, Karina tried to crawl away from him controlling her fear.

“Karina!”

“MATTEO!! KNIGHT!!! WAKE UP!!” she yelled at the unconscious wolf.

Leo got to Karina and grabbed her foot and turned her around. She yelped crying for Matteo as Leo pulled her body into a sitting position. Karina gasped looking back at his blue glowing eyes.

Leo growled down at her looking at her dominantly.

“Pppp…Please! Let me go Leo. I’m sorry. I’m sorry!” She said knowing that he was angry at her. But Leo didn’t care about her apology right now.

She was in pain. She was an innocent girl caught up in horrible mess.

Leo looked at the blood trickling down from her temple. He brought his mouth holding her cheeks with his hands and darted his eyes upon her bleeding wound.

He growled licking at her wound and Karina whimpered freezing as he did so. No matter how blood thirsty he was. Leo reminded himself that she was his friend. A friend that he failed to protect. Just like Veera. But there was still hope. At least he had the chance of getting her away from this mess.

But first he needed to make amends. Karina was looking at him like he was going to hurt her.

“I’m not a monster.”

“You killed him!” Karina teared looking back at Matteo’s wolf Knight.

He may have knocked him out, however Leo could still hear the beating of that beast’s heart.

“I killed the monster that did that to you. Can’t you see I’m trying to protect you?” He moved her hair to the side revealing her mark. Karina gasped pulling her shirt back over her mark, hiding it from his gaze.

“Well. Time to go.”

Leo pulled Karina up to stand, however her body ached from the height that she fell at.

“No!! MmmMatteo!” She went forward in her limping state to get to him, but Leo pulled her towards him making her gasp.

“Listen to me Karina. You go near that beast, he will kill you this time, and I won’t let that happen. You know why princess? Because you belong to me now.” Leo picked her up bridal style and Karina put her hands on her face crying out Matteo’s name.

“Stop this please! Leo, you don’t know Matteo! He won’t hurt me!!”

Leo clenched his jaw. He was annoyed by the fact that he was siding with that fool than listening to him.

“Karina, you’re confused right now.”

“I’M NOT!” She fired angrily, and Leo growled back fiercely at her, making her freeze in his hold. She slipped out hot tears as Leo carried her away.

Leo then suddenly came to a stop, and sensed that they were not alone.

Suddenly a round of loud claps were heard amongst the dark trees.

Six figures emerged out of the woods.

“He’s come a long way hasn’t he?” The blonde girl wearing a red attire smiled back at the new wolf.

“Yes, Gloria he has.” Said her mate Nico.

Leo saw Franko and his mate Sienna growling at him too.

“Put down the girl Leo.” Kian said glowing his eyes green at him.

Leo growled holding on to Karina like she was his possession.

“You see what I mean Karina? They’re not going to stop until they make you part of the pack.” Leo said.

“Well of course she’ll be part of the pack. Won’t you dear girl?”

Karina nervously gasped out at that notion, holding on to Leo tightly. He was right all along.

Suddenly a mad growl erupted and in came a bleeding Matteo in his now naked form standing beside Leo.

“No one harms her!”

Leo and Matteo looked at one another putting their gritty differences to the side. They understood one thing through their silence. That when it came to Karina, they would always protect her.

“Matteo calm down, you need medical attention.” Sienna reminded looking at her little brother, who was ready to fight them with his claws out.

“Leo.” The familiar sound of that voice made him turn around.

Cora stood facing her ex with a worried expression.

“What’s wrong Cora?” Leo asked.

“It’s Veera.”

G: Twenty says he won’t come.

N: Fifty says he will.
