125. Karina on a Plane
The private jet circled around the mysterious island. Nico had already deployed his security warriors from another plane.
Franko and Sienna had joined in the action as soon as they neared the beach, killing each red robe they saw on sight.
Karina unfortunately sat on the seat right opposite of Leo, her former crush as he stared down the window.
“This is where Veera is?” asked Leo is disbelief. For they had flown at to the middle of nowhere, across the vast Atlantic Sea.
“According to Ares’s GPRS signal yes.” Nico said.
“Is…Is that a floating island?!” Karina asked in awe.
Gloria was suited up in her army gear like her mate.
“You two ready to go?”
“What do you mean you two? Hello! I’m like right over here guys!” Karina complained.
Gloria, patted her head and pinched her cheeks wide like annoying big sister.
“We need you to guard the plane pan cakes.”
“Pan cakes?” Karina scoffed at her sudden nickname, and glared back at Matteo broke out in a soft chuckle.
Nico headed towards the door, as the airplane landed on a higher ground.
“Guys we have to go now.” Nico commanded and Gloria headed over towards him as he opened the door, and jumped out from it.
Karina hated the fact that she was being not being included.
Matteo got up to leave, when suddenly his hand was grabbed. It seemed he was quite closer to her now that they shared a kiss and the fact that he marked her didn’t bother Karina anymore. Karina was simply glad that Leo had calmed down, and decided not to hunt her anymore. Although he still had strong determination to still keep her safe and keep her away from Matteo real bite.
“Matteo? You’re going to go too?”
“It’s my duty to protect the Alpha Karina.” Matteo brushed her cheek causing her cheeks to heat up. He leaned down to give her a sweet kiss but Leo, rudely interrupted this mode of passion, with a short cough.
Karina awkwardly looked away as Matteo shot daggers at Leo, who seemed un-phased by his affection towards her. As far as he was concerned, he was still going to keep Karina, away from Matteo’s fang after he saved Veera.
He put his grudge on hold. The people that kidnapped Veera were quite powerful beings, and they all knew they were going to need everyone’s help in order to defeat the enemy.
“Matteo!” Nico called out from the door.
He let out an annoyed growl and started walking away to Nico’s order.
“I’ll be back soon.”
Karina sighed out, then looked back at Leo.
“What, are you standing there for? Aren’t you going too?” Karina snapped at him quite annoyed with him for many reasons.
“Of course I am, right after I do this.” Leo caught her wrist fast and pulled out his hand cuffs, and cuffed her to the chair she was sitting on.
“Oh you prick! Leo, what the hell!!”
“Karina. I love your whole ‘you’re going too?’ act. Truth is you just want everyone to leave this plane so that you get yet another chance to escape. Well. Not on my watch, pan cakes.” He turned on his heel after using Gloria’s nickname on her.
“Leo, stop don’t go! Get me out of these cuffs!! I promise I’ll behave. I won’t escape!”
C: Liar, liar, pants on fire.
L: Nice try Karina.
“No. It’s dangerous on this island and I don’t want you wandering off. Of course, if you still disobey me, then there are other ways I can make you stay put on this plane?” Leo reminded her easily of his spanking activities.
“Urgh! I hate you!”
Leo winked and leaned down and placed a kiss on her cheek, making her clench her jaw and scowl at him.
“No you don’t.”
As much as she hated his guts right now, Karina still tried to get his attention. She hated the fact that he could read her like a book, unlike Matteo who was more sweet, kind and gentle towards her. Leo was the opposite.
“Leo! Wait!! LEO!!!”
Leo jumped out of the plane door, and shut the door behind him.
Matteo grabbed Leo by his collar and growled at him angrily.
“Did you really need to cuff her, you dirty cop!”
“Dirty cop?! Who’s the one that marked her without her consent bitch?!”
They both growled angrily towards one another.
Gloria sighed out and so did Nico. They couldn’t afford these two fighting over that girl right now.
“Take Matteo and join the others, Gloria. I’ll handle cop wolf.”
Gloria agreed and grabbed Matteo before those two engaged in another fight.
“Boys, save your fight for later. Infact we can settle this dispute soon, once we save Ares and Veera?” Nico advised, calming both of their hot heads down.
Gloria and Nico broke them up and Matteo and Leo agreed.
“Fine. We’ll have a fair fight, the one that wins gets to take Karina home.”
“Fine, and if you loose dirty cop, I get to keep her.”
Leo scoffed and shook his head at Matteo, who did the same. It was fair to say they hated each other guts.
Karina sighed out watching the Weres a$$holes that brought her on this crazy trip in the middle of nowhere finally leave. She sighed out and looked down at the stupid cuffs Leo had put her in.
“Hmmm? How hard can it be to get out of these?”
