35. Welcome back, Veera.

Veera woke up with a fright thinking about Troy in his wolf form out to chase her.

Thankfully it was just a dream.

However, she was worried since Leo had not come back. At all.

Knowing they were no doubt hunting for her, Veera quickly grabbed Leo's oversized hoody and cap to seal her indentity. She had to get to the us embassy and request for a new passport and claim that hers was officially "lost" but she knew all too well that Ares still had her passport.

Wearing her sneekers, she made sure to conseal the tazzer she carried. Pepper spray was out of the question since it didn't work on them and Veera. However Veera saw a sports shop near the hotel and quickly went inside, and bought herself a metal baseball bat.

She was not going to go down without a fight, this time.

Four Were guards followed her discreetly keeping Ares updated on her every move.

He was thrilled to find out that she was well equiped.

However this was Veera, she was a fighter, but she wouldn't harm a mosquito unless it really bit her.

Knowing all too well that Ares had her friends Veera went towards a phone booth and dialled at one of his hotels.

A receiptinist answered her call.

"*Blue Waterfalls Hotel how may I help you?*"

"Yes, I would like to speak with Mr Ares Cascata?" The pr!ck whose a$$ I saved and also the one who stole my friends from me. Please? Veera held in the rest of her thoughts.

The receiptionist was bewildered since this person was asking about CEO, who wasn't present at the hotel.

"*I'm afraid his not in today, can I take a message? Whom may I ask is calling?*"

Veera hung up the phone and sighed.

This was obviously not going the way she wanted it.

She knew Ares too well. Even if she answered the phone, he would tell her to come and get her friends herself. But she had no back up. All she had was her bravery.

She had to know, if they were alive or not.

A car suddenly pulled up to where she was standing and this time Nico and Gloria came out of the car

"Honey, we're not your enemies." Gloria said looking at Veera, who was about to turn on her heel and runaway from them.

Looking at Gloria and Nico, Veera knew they meant no harm. She also knew that they packed alot of claws too and there was no point in fighting them. No her real enemy was Ares, she had to save her strength for him.

"Veera lets go, Ares is offered to make a deal with you." Nico said, carefully taking away her bat away from her.

"A deal?"

Gloria took her hand squeesed it with delight, glad to have her back already.

"Yes, just hear him out?" Gloria said sweetly making Veera sigh.

"Please little *cervo* your friends are waiting for you." Nico said sweetly opening the door.

Wanting to see her friends more than anything, Veera immdiately got into the car.

"They're ok aren't they?" Veera asked and Gloria replied with a dull sure.

"Well if you must know, Jack got whipped."

"Whipped?" Veera said surprised as Nico explained more.

"You see Veera, he tried to kill Ares, our Alpha. Thats what happens to our enemies when they attack us."

"Oh my god! Is he dead?"

"We all wanted him dead, however Ares has a big heart, his only kept him alive since his your friend, who came to save you with the other two."

"What about Cora and Leo?"

Nico and Gloria laughed.

"You mean your fake boyfriend?"

Veera akwardly nodded to that.

"Well, Franko beat him up to a pulp and broke his wrist."

"HE WHAT?!"

"Little *cervo* (deer) calm down, his reasons were just. You see Leo not only attacked Ares and tried to kill him, but he went and kidnapped you. Franco is very fond of you and loves you very much in his own way. So when he found out that Leo took you away like that and almost killed our brother last night, you can see why he reacted the way he did."

Veera sighed and shook her head.

"What about Cora?"

Cora got a surpise in the morning no doubt when she screamed in *pleasure* from the both of them turning her on more than Leo ever did.

Nico and Gloria looked at one another discreetly and then back to Veera, keeping her in the dark for now.

"She's fine." Gloria simply said now arriving back at the castle.

Veera felt nostalgic coming back here suddenly, but she was also reminded by the fact that her friends were here.

She had to save them before Ares killed them, or worse. Troy.

Walking into another private room, Veera saw her friends tied up and bonded behind the chairs. All three of them were gagged and were screaming at her in their muffled voices, for her not to come any further. But Veera couldn't quite understand in this dark room and proceeded to come closer as she realised one of them was severely wounded.

"LEO!" Veera said first coming straight at him, looking at his bloodied face and broken wrist.

Her eyes watered as she was just about to run towards him, but a figure stood in her way blocking her.

"Welcome back Veera." Ares said glowing his eyes dangerously blue at her.

Veera pulled out her tazzer gun from her back jean pocket that Gloria and Nico failed to notice.

Ares raised a brow at them and Gloria hid behind Nico's back not wanting to face his wrath.

"I swear, we thought she just had this bat Ares." Nico said in his defence.

Ares walked over to her dangerously looking Veera dead in her eyes.

"Whats the matter Veera? Go ahead, use your tazzer gun." He insited as Veera walked back carefully, gulping nervously.

"Stop! Don't move Ares, or I swear I will!!" She warned. Ares looked at her strictly listening to her every heart beat.

He stopped for now and sighed.

"Why did you come back Veera?"

"Let them go, Ares!"

Ares walked over to Jack and stood behind at the back of the chair. Jack heart beats flied as suddenly Ares took out his claws and grabbed his jaw. He ungagged his mouth and Jack shamelessly cried looking at Veera in.

"VEERA HELP!"

"It's ok Jack. I'm going to get you out of here. I promise." Veera said calmly, looking back at Ares.

"Let them go Ares."

Ares grinned at her slyly.

"My thoughts exactly. But now here's the thing *tesoro* I can't do that, what happens if they come back for you? I will have to kill them now, now won't I?" Ares went to raise his hands and Jack closed his eyes in fear almost peeing himself.

He looked down at Jack with a sudden hunger.

"Eyes. Lungs. Pancreas. So many snacks, so little time." He darkly chuckled against his ear making Jack cry more.

"STOP OR I'LL SHOOT!" Veera said shouted warningly at Ares who looked at her feistyness of bravery coming put of her.

"Go ahead, we both know you won't!" Ares taunted and as he was just about to slash at Jack's throat Veera gasped and aimed, with tears escaping her hand shook as she fired the tazzer at him.

The current passed through him and Ares looked at Veera in shock. Ares grolwed widly glowing his eyes blue and now dangerously pink at her. The current was not at all strong enough to bring him down, and was strangely turning him on. Veera got p!ssed of and pressed on the button harder to bring him down, but Ares darkly chuckled looking at her.

Somehow, when she had healed him the second time, it was like she had given him an imence amount of healing power and energy. A tazzer could bring any Were to his feet, however it looked like that the weapon was useless against him.

"ARES!!" Nico and Gloria said suddenly growling at Veera who looking at Ares, with her hearts racing widly. Franco, Gloria and Nico were the most shocked that their Alpha was still standing. They all looked at Veera knowing all too well why she was indeed special to their Alpha.

Franco came quickly and grabbed Veera taking the weapon away from her hands.

"Veera don't be foolish." Franko said holding her in place as she tried to escape. Veera head fell low as she cried in Franco's hold.

"Please, let them go. Please don't harm them. I'll...I'll do anything!" Veera said defeated as Franko held her tightly from the back.

"Anything?" Ares asked and Veera slowly nodded her head at him.

Ares came forward and looked at Veera holding up her chin. Franko let go of her as Ares held her in his hold and crashed his lips with her. Veera fought the attraction with him heavily and pushed him away from her angrily. Ares winked at her wickedly and spoke against her ear

"That is why we are here. Cooperate, and they might just survive. That is the deal." Ares licked her neck biting it teasefully making Veera immdiately surrender. She held back her moan, but it was too late when he kissed her deeply with a sudden passion.

There was no need to bite her. She was here wasn't she?

Leo looked devestated and Cora was avoiding Nico and Gloria gaze at all cost. Jack looked shocked at Veera who knew was about to sacrifice
herself for them.

Ares pulled away and smiled down at her.

He turned around with her linking hands with her and spoke to his un invited guests that almost tried to kill him.

"You're very lucky she's your friend." With a snap of his fingers, three Were guards freed them all from their restraints.

"Veera, you have fifteen minutes to say goodbye to your friends before I fly them out to their town for good."

"What do you mean for good?"

"It means, they will never be allowed to step foot in this country again."

"Ares, you can't do that!" Veera snapped at him and he turned around glowing his eyes blue at her wickedly.

Veera pushed his chest away and shook her head quickly rephrasing her sentence.

"I mean they are my friends. I would like to see them again."

"You shall, when you *behave*" He said the last word sounding like Master and Veera gulped as he walked out the door with the rest of his betas.

Veera quickly went to Leo and tried to heal him, but Leo was heart broken.

"You love him don't you?"

"Leo, let me heal you, you're hurt."

"No."

"Leo, Is this how you're going to say goodbye?" Veera cried and he turned around hugging her tightly. Veera touched Leo on his face and wrist quickly healing him and Leo sobbed, kissing her face and cheeks.

Cora was heartbroken seeing two bestfriends part like this. She hugged Veera next and kissed her cheeks asking her to stay strong. She also quickly whispered to her to be careful of Nico and Gloria who just might take advantage of her soon. Veera laughed and also shuddered at the thought. She saw Jack last and Jack pulled her into a hug too.

"I know I haven't been a great friend. I know I'm been foolish, but I'll never forget your kindness Veera."

Veera hugged him back and rubbed her hands up and down his back, quickly healing his wounds on his back like they weren't there.

Franco opened the door and Veera's friends finally gave them her a group hug.

"Thankyou all for coming to save me. I will never forget you guys. We will meet again. I promise."

Everyone nodded to that. This wasn't the end. Leo and Cora would always find a way with Jack on board too.

With a tearful goodbye they left Veera all alone in the castle with the rest of the wolves.
