33. Wild Ones

I walked in watching the foolish one getting tortured.

*WHIP*

*WHIP*

Hearing the whips on his back hard made me very happy.

The foolish one named Jack who almost tried to kill me, had been caught, whilst the red head got away.

Recieving whips behind his back he groaned out looking at Gloria angrily. He was going slowly mad since he was a drug addict.

"JUST LET ME GO!" He cried in pain.

Gloria grabbed his jaw tightly and looked down at him glowing her green eyes at him. Jack heart beats raced as he looked into her eyes with fear.

"Aww, you almost made me care." Gloria whipped him again.

Nico and Franko took a picture of his binded self and sent the pictures to Veera's ex boyfriend.

Hoping they would respond by now, they were surprised that not one single text message came back.

"They don't like you? Do they?" Nico said making Jack's head hang low.

He knew he was a bad friend, but he knew Leo would come back for him. He always did. He had saved him numerous times out of trouble and Jack had great faith in him that he would come back for him. Jacks body had become numb from the painful whips and his eyes started rolling back in his head.

"Enough. Give him water."

"Alpha, did you forget that he tried to kill you?!" Gloria said looking at Jack with disgust.

I splashed his face with cold water, bringing him back to life.

"Yes, I know he did, the question is why?" I looked down at him pulling his head back by his hair.

"YOU KILLED BOB!" Jack fired in the state of anger and exhaustion. I let go of his head, returning back to my seat.

Franko, Gloria and Nico looked at one another in confusion.

"Bob? We don't have many Bobs as enemies do we?"

"His talking about his dirty cop friend. Fat Bob." Ares grinned taking a seat as they went on with the interogation.

"Tell me Jack are Leo and Veera really a couple?"

Ares pulled out his claws and Jack nervously gulped. As a cop, he had been trained not to be a sni*tch, but since his life was on the line, Jack thought it was wise to tell him the truth.

"No. Jack and Veera are just friends, nothing more. Why?"

Franko, Nico and Gloria laughed at Ares who got duped by her.

Ares stood up and pulled Jack hair back and made him look at him.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive. That red head in the picture who is sucking off Leo is his girlfriend Cora." Jack said with all honesty.

So she played me in the ballroom. Ares thought as he saw her kissing Leo like that.

"Oh, she's a clever kitty, I like her." Nico said and Franko nodded in agreement, and walked out the room, making other arrangements to capture them.

Ares got a call on his phone and spoke to one of his Were guards that had split up all over town looking for the ones that took his mate.

"*We found the red head boss.*"

Ares saw a picture sent by the guard and saw Leo's girlfriend sitting on the beach crying.

"Watch her and don't let her out of your sight."

"*Got it boss*"

Ares turned to his beta brothers and asked them to go pick her up, with her boyfriend.

"Leave Veera to me." Ares reminded and both the brothers looked at each other, nodding at his request.

Meanwhile back in the hotel room. Leo called up the airport.

Leo tried to get their tickets arranged back to USA, however due to the bad weather all flights were cancelled, untill the next day. He had seen the threat messages on his phone and saw his friend getting whipped. He knew he had to go back for him.

Cora gave her clothes to change into and she hugged Veera glad to have her back safely with them. Veera hugged her back happy to see her.

"They got Jack havn't they?"

Cora sighed and looked at Leo nodding her head at her.

Leo and Veera still hadn't spoken about their kiss because Cora was around. Veera wanted to tell Leo, the truth but now since they had Jack, it wasn't exactly the best time to bring that matter up.

"You can't send me back Leo!" Cora fired, not liking the fact that he was sending her back. They were a team, they were all meant to go back togther. Jack had the Alpha, but both were shocked when he caught the poisoned dart like that.

"You're going back with Veera Cora and thats final!" Leo said strictly making Cora groan at him in frustration. Clearly she wasn't happy about him going after Jack by himself.

"You can't take him on your own stupid his the Alpha!" Cora stated.

"I'll figure it out, I always do!" Leo snapped, making Cora a little hurt.

"We're supposed to figure it out!" She said sadly. They were a team after all, but it looks like Leo had forgotten that.

Cora walked out of the hotel room angrily, to catch some fresh air on the beach.

Veera sat silently not knowing what to say. Infact, she hadn't said much after Leo rescued her from Ares. Ares who had been wounded yet again. Veera knew he was terrible guy that kidnapped her, but deep down in her heart, she knew he wasn't a bad guy. He liked her, but she also knew that he never went that far too hurt her either.

She sighed shaking her head.

He had a mate. Ex mate or a ex girlfriend, it didn't matter. The point was that they were meant to be together. Veera didn't know why he liked her so much, but enough was enough. Ares had to forget about her.

She was feeling really down and suddenly missing him.

"Hey, are you ok?" Leo got her a glass of water and Veera smiled at him shortly.

"I'm fine." She replied, drinking the water.

Leo put his hand on her shoulder looking at her tired eyes.

"He didn't hurt you did he?" Leo asked concerned.

Veera shook her head at him putting him at ease. He defintelty did *other things* though.

Leo sighed and pulled her in his embrace.

"Good." Leo exhaled out of relief.

Veera pulled away, and suddenly gasped, realising somthing. Cora was missing. She couldn't be missing right now. How could she not know! She should have stopped her from walking out the room angrily like that. This was no time to be out alone at this hour.

"What? What is it?"

"Tell Cora to come back now!" Veera got up to her feet looking out the balcony.

"Why whats wrong?"

"Leo, this is Ares's territory! His men are probably hunting for us now. She can't be out on her own!"

It was a miracle how they escaped in the car. Cora drove like Vin Diesel escaping the Were gaurds who chased after them in their car.

Leo cussed and grabbed his phone. He quickly called Cora.

Luckily she answered..

"*What is it now Leo?*" She snapped angrily like a tiger.

"Babe, I need you to calm down and come back to the hotel room, right now." Leo said speaking to her calmly.

"*Are you sending me back? Because I'm telling you right now Leonardo Montain, I will rip the ticket up infront you if do!*"

Whilst she was talking on the beach angrily over the phone, one of Ares's Were men found her and immdiately and walked up to her.

Cora went on fight mode, and took down one Were guard and killed him with the Dark Leaf dart that she had on her. She was one heck of a fighter when it came to the Weres. After defeating the guard Cora went to run away from scene but then someone out of nowhere pushed her back with a powerful force.

Her heart raced when she saw two men with green glowing eyes approaching her with a terrifying growl, after seeing one of their men dead on the beach, thanks to her.

Cora quickly got up to her feet and turned on her heel fast, running away from them, but one of them came fast from the front, grinning at her wildly. Chills ran down her spine as she looked at the one in front and to the one on her back.

"*Get lost*." Cora fired and kicked Nico heavily in his chest. However, Nico being a powerful beta instantly caught her foot and tripped her up on the ground with ease.

"Wow, she's got quite a temper Frankie." One snikered glowing his eyes green at her.

Cora's heart raced as she noticed she was now dealing with powerful looking betas.

"*Who are you?*"

"We're what you call double trouble *tigre carina*" said the wild one with a smirk playing on his face.

Leo suddenly heard growls in the phone and a ear piearcing chillful scream coming from Cora's mouth.

"CORA!!"
