61. Where are we going?

Leo was in a foul mood.

He found out, that once again Veera had healed his wounds and went away, and further more. He was furious at Cora who told him that she had taken all his soldier pills and washed them down the toilet.

"You did what?!" He pinned Cora against the wall and hit his fist heavily against the wall, causing his knuckles to bleed.

"FUCK!" He retreated his self back, noticing his girlfriend, quivering lip. He cursed out again and started walking back and fourth.

"Leo, please calm down!!" Cora said whilst controlling her tears.

"Calm down?! How can I be calm when you TURNED on ME!" He shouted and shook her by the arms.

"YOU ATTACKED ME!" Cora fired and Leo took a lamp and threw it against another wall angrily. Clearly the side effects of the drugs hadn't quite worn away.

"I WAS TRYING TO GET TO VEERA, YOU WERE IN MY WAY!!!"

Jack quickly came into the room and stood by Cora as a support looking at Leo who was yelling at him.

"AND WHERE THE HELL WHERE YOU HUH?! WE COULD'VE TAKEN THAT A$$HOLE AND GOT VEERA BACK SAFELY!!"

Jack stayed silent.

While the three were in the grotto last night, Jack here was having a private meeting with Franko, Nico and Gloria. They had openly invited him to get bitten by them and Jack was very very tempted to try out this new *GIFT* they were telling him about. To break it down simply, they wanted him to be apart of their pack. An open invitation to their werewolf club. But sadly. Jack cautiously declined the invitation. When asked the reason why, he simply stated, he wouldn't do it if Leo wasn't going to support him.

Looking at Leo now. He knew for sure, he wouldn't support him.

It would be bad for Jack, if he became a Were, and Leo ended up hunting him down.

It was somthing Jack wanted to avoid.

Nico, Franko and Gloria understood, coming from his perspective.

Although, he much prefered taking the *bite* without the trouble of eating those pills with the terrible, tempermental side-effects. After seeing Leo loose his cool like that, Jack threw away his pills away.

Nico seeing a diffrent side to Jack asked him to try and convince Leo, to see if he would be intrested in?

Leo, intrested in becoming a Were? Now that was crazy.

"Who the hell was that guy anyway, Cora?! Why was the cheating mongrel, sleeze ball all into you! You damn tramp!" He snapped, coldly at her.

Cora recalled when Kian stepped in to save her from Leo's wrath last night. Cora was not only fuming at him, but she was shocked that Leo didn't have an ounce of regret of what he just said to her.

"DUDE! CORA IS YOUR GIRL!!" Jack finally snapped

"ATLEAST HE WASN'T A PSYCHO LIKE YOU LAST NIGHT LEO!" Cora fired and Leo laughed at her in a dark humour.

Alot of shouting and slur of bad language followed. Kian, on the other hand was listening outside of the room, with the Were guards watching him closely. They had orders to tazze him if he went out of control again.

Kian smirked and at Cora defending him.

**K: You hear that guys? That's a point for me.**

The Were guards, remained completely poker faced about his little excitment, over the human girl.

Kian was tempted to knock the Were guards out since he was a powerful beta, but he did not want to p!ss of his Alpha or his commanding betas. Especially Nico and Franko. They saw Cora in a diffrent light and were very protective around her. After the ruckus last night on the beach, Kian had momentarily lost control of his inner wolf, and almost bitten her. But today, he was feeling much fresh and well digested.

Kian was not going to let his wolf do that to her again.

Cora stormed out of the room with her small bag and saw Kian's face lit up as she met eyes with him. Cora was not expecting to see him any time soon, and she relaxed seeing the Were gaurds who greeted her in a respective way. Cora briefly smiled at them and ignored the wild looking one.

"Hey, I just came by to apo.." Cora put her palm up and shook her head at him. She looked at him in disgust and recalled the events that happened on the beach with her.

"Not a good time Kian!" Cora snapped. Giving him a disgusted look, Cora avoided the sudden chills down her spine and walked away angrily.

Kian sighed and nodded. She needed time and space.

The Were guards followed her acting like her personal body gaurds and Kian followed behind them.

Meanwhile.

Veera and Ares were now on a plane heading towards a diffrent location.

"Why aren't we going to Italy?"

Ares grinned seeing as she was speaking to him. Ofcourse Veera was upset with him for putting her sneekily on his bed like that, but at the same time, she knew he was thinking about her comfort too. She couldn't be mad at him for too long.

"Well I just don't want any interuptions from anybody, especially your annoying guy friend Chiko, whose not only sent you twenty miss calls and eighteen missed video calls and fourteen voice messages..."

**T: Sheesh, talk about desperate!**

"His name is Leo, and I'd like to have my phone back please."

Rolling his eyes at her, Ares gave her back her phone. She smiled and kissed his cheek. Ares interlocked her hands with his and gave her hand a sweet kiss. Veera looked out the window of the plane.

"Seriously, where are we going?"

"New Zealand."

"Wait, I thought your business is in Italy though?"

"It is, and it's also in New Zealand too."

Ares talked about his corporation some more and Veera nodded in understanding. Ares was a very very busy man not only handling his pack business, but also his hotel bussiness.

After a long journey.

Ares and Veera arrived at their hotel suite.

Veera felt nervous looking at the big bed infront of her.

"Would you like to get a seperate room?" Ares asked, making Veera surprised.

**T: Are you mad Ares, that's our mate?!**

**A: I know.**

"No, umm, I'd don't want to."

"Why is that?"

Because, I know I can trust you and I know for a fact that you won't hurt me. Veera kept her thoughts to herself.

"Because I like you." She went on her tip toes and kissed him on the cheek, feeling quite bashfull. She saw him blush and smiled down at her. Her stomach errupted with those wild butterflies and she chuckled like a little school girl in love. She had no idea, how much she turned him on. The power she had over him was incredible.

"But then again, you're right, maybe I should get another room? I mean who knows what will happen if I sleep close to you?"

"You're right, I can turn into a beast and eat you up." Ares playfully attacked her on her neck and tickled her up. She laughed as he did so and Ares closed the door behind him.

That night, Ares did nothing to her, but cuddle with her. The thought crossed his mind many times to claim her, but he knew Veera was tired. He would never pressure her or rush her into somthing she was not quite ready for, and so Ares made other plans to entice her, during the week. Oh yes, he was definetly going to take her V card, but he was going to take his sweet time, in making her feel very, very, special.

Meanwhile, Cora a very moody Leo, and a conflicted Jack were back on a plane to their hometown.

Kian, on the other hand discreetly decided to follow the love of his life and made sure that he won her love once and for all.

All whilst two unknown passengers kept their eyes on Veera's friends.
