133. Love you to The Moon and Back

A month later.

After finally getting out of the island.

Aunt Rita had come in terms to the fact that Ares was the right person for Veera. She gave them both her blessings.
The wedding was held in a grand hotel out in Italy.

VIP guests from all around the world attended the fine occasion. It was a rare sight

Ares wore a dark navy Valentino suit. He removed his triangular shaped yellow handkerchief from his upper pocket and replaced it with a red rose instead.

Veera kept her hair curled from the back and decorated her hair diamond tiara gifted to her by Gloria and Sienna. She wore a beautiful pearl white silk lacey flowing gown making her look like a classy swan.

Sienna teared up looking at how beautiful she looked and Veera hugged her chuckling at her.

“It’s just make up! Quit crying. Besides you girls look flawless too.”

“I’m sorry, but you look beautiful.” She gushed out making Gloria also teary eyed.

“Well tonight is your night, and I’m sure when Ares sees you in this he’ll be blown away to the moon.”

Veera chuckled.

Suddenly a knock on the door came.

Gloria opened up.

“Nico? We still have another half hour to go before we bring her down.”

“I know chica, but try telling that to him.”

“Ares?”

With the mention of his name, Veera quickly hid behind Sienna.

“What’s he doing at the door at this hour?”

“Ares you can’t see me! It’s bad luck!” Veera shouted dragging Sienna to the side with her.

“Ladies, please excuse us.”

Gloria smiled and stepped out the door with Nico.

“Alpha! You can’t be at the door right now!”

Sienna and Veera chuckled.

“Please let me in, I promise I won’t look.”

Veera sighed and nodded her head and whispered something quickly to her ear.

Sienna kissed her cheek and closed the door behind her.

“She said you got to come in walking in backwards.”

Ares nodded.

T: Well, let’s hope we don’t crash and fall on the bed.

“Baby, I’m coming in.” Ares announced.

“Ok.”

She heard the door opening, and heart fluttered with excitement sensing him enter the room.

“Ar..Are your eyes closed?”

T: No.

A: Troy!

“Yes.”

“Ok, I’m walking backwards too.”

Ares bumped into a side table, and Veera stubbed her toe.

“Ouch!”

“Baby?”

“I’m ok, but is this really important?”

“Yes, I wanted to give you something?”

Following the sound of his voice, Veera finally bumped her back into a warm one.

Ares held her hands and chuckled out with her.

“What’s the matter Ares, everything ok?”

“I’m fine, I just got worried that you may be having second thoughts about us?”

“Are you crazy?”

Veera turned around, keeping her eyes closed and back hugged him.

“Do you know how much we’ve been through? I care about you two so much Ares and Troy! I wouldn’t be here right now if I didn’t love you.”

Ares turned around in her hold and hugged her. Veera gasped and prayed that his eyes were closed.

"Tesoro. Mia amore.”

“Ares?”

“Here, take this and wear it for me.”

He gave her something in her hand and let go of her.

“Ares?”

After a minute of silence. Veera opened her eyes to see Ares had gone from her room like a silent ghost. She fell on to the bed revealed that he hadn’t seen her. Knowing Troy, he would been tempted to lock the door.

She was made the flower girl.

Did she want to be here?

Not really.

However due to some complications In her home town, and the drug lords still being after her, Ares had offered her a place in the pack now that Matteo’s mark was on her. She was happy to comply so long as Matteo kept his distance from her.

She was now living with Jack who had taken the role of acting as her guardian until she was eighteen. Karina quite enjoyed his brotherly company but found it annoying that him and his on and off girlfriend Judy could be quite loud when she came over to stay, whilst she was studying.

Karina threw the rose petals on the rich green lawned grass to welcome the bride, just as the orchestra started. Karina saw him staring at her in her olive green dress.
$hit! He was here. Of course he was here. Matteo gave her one of his special’s smirk. Karina looked away from his gaze, pretending like she didn’t notice him and carried on. All whilst she was secretly happy to see him again.

Sienna and Cora next walked down the aisle in their beautiful yellow dresses, with Gloria and Emerald following along next. A lot of eyes fell upon them, earning some wolf whistles from the crowd.

T: Where is she?!

Ares and Troy had secretly been having nightmares about their beloved disappearing. They would be p!ssed off of another crazy Apsara came to kidnap her away. Security was on high alert tonight, thanks to Franko looking into it.

The crowds suddenly stopped gawking at the brides maids as Veera finally graced the ground.

T: Oh my…
A: Moon.

Veera was about to walk down alone.

When suddenly a man whom she thought was never going to make it to her wedding surprised her.

“Leo?”

Ares looked sharply at his least favourite person in the crowd.

Franko was chosen to escort her down the aisle. Not him.

“Wow. You look amazing V.” He simply said.
Veera smiled and hugged Leo warmly. He returned the hug.

Ares although standing was furious. What was he planning to do with his beautiful bride?!

T: Ok, that’s it. I’m going to kick his a$$, he’s picked the worst day to cOckblock me!

Ares was on board and was about to go after him, but Nico stepped in his way.

“Relax brother. He’s not here to kidnap her.”

Ares calmed down when he saw Leo, now escorting his bride down the beautiful aisle.

Veera was so happy, her best friend was walking her down the aisle. Leo had come in terms of being a wolf since he couldn’t deny the fact that he felt more stronger and healthier than before. The bonus side to being a wolf was that he was ten times more better at his job than before.

Even if that Alpha douchebag over there gave him the gift.

Leo refused to be part of Ares’s pack.

Ares had plenty of vacancies open in his pack, but there was no way in hell he would let that cOckblocker be part of his pack. And if he did insist on joining, Troy would no doubt make sure he’d kick his a$$.

No matter how bad they hated one another, today was Veera’s day. Veera whom they both loved and adored, and due to this reason.

They decided to be civil with one another, on the beautiful full moon night.

Leo finally came down the aisle with her and gave Ares a mild irritated look, before giving her hand into his.

“She’s all yours.”

Leo kissed the back of Veera’s hand making her smile.

“Thankyou, Leonardo.”

Leo stepped away and Veera looked back smiling back at Ares.

“Hey handsome.”

“Bellissimo.”

Veera blushed at the way Ares stared at her. Clearly, she had his attention in the beautiful cheque stunning lacey wedding dress plus she wore the rose he gave her.

Then Veera leaned in and whispered something that was troubling her.

“Hey, you’re not going to bite me again are you?”

T: Babe, we’re like so past that chapter c’mon.

Ares chuckled shortly in his deep tone of voice.

“You’re already wearing my love mark, there’s no need to make you pass out on this beautiful night mia amore.”

Veera smiled and relaxed.

Nico smiled at the couple and started off being the priest of the ceremony.

“Dearly beloved, we’re gathered here tonight to witness a special occasion of two souls coming together…”

Veera and Ares had completely zoned out the crowds and the long speech that Nico was given until he gave a nudge to his Alpha brother.

“What?”

“The vows bro.”

T: I love you to the moon and back.
A: That’s it?
T: Pretty much.

Ares smiled and held Veera’s hand preciously.

“Veera, ever since you saved me in that alleyway, I knew you were the one for me. I love the way you smile, how you cherish and fight for your friends and family and how you always do your best even when the odds are against you. You are the moon in my eyes and I want to love, hold cherish and be a loving husband and father to our future kids. I’ll love you in sickness and in health until death does apart.”

A couple of sniffles from the crowd were heard and Veera smiled fighting her waterworks away.

“Ares and Troy. You’re both one soul to me, and I couldn’t be happier to have found you. You have taught me a lot about love, taught me how to fight and taught me to be brave when I thought I wasn’t. Baby, I love you I want to be your woman, your wife and the mother of our kids. I love you to the moon and back and one day when my powers fade, I’ll still be by your side no matter what, in sickness and in health, until death does us part.”

T: Don’t cry. Don’t cry!

Ares was all smiles and kissed her hands in his preciously.

Nico then presented the rings and Veera and Ares wore them.

Ares pulled Veera in for a heart warming kiss, making the crowds cheer and stand up from their seats. Everyone clapped and the music and a great show of fireworks started.
Everyone danced the night away with their mates.

Even Karina was dancing with Matteo and actually having fun with the rest of the pack members.

Everyone accept a lone wolf.

Leo.

He walked away after seeing Veera his best friend happy and in the arms of her husband. He smiled knowing she was in the right hands and walked away exiting the garden, with one thought in mind.

The girl he couldn’t stop thinking about.

The girl that he brought back home. Not only was he in awe of her, he’d come to realise that she was feisty girl who wasn’t his greatest fan since she found out that he was a wolf. Kaila the girl that he kissed at the party all those years ago turned out to be an Apsara. He wished to know more about her and made sure to keep his eyes on her.

There was something about her that intrigued him. She was this gravitational pull that he simply couldn’t resist.

He pulled out his phone and smirked to himself.

The locator showed that she was on the move.

“Where are you going?”
