129. Bad Guy Vs Veera

T: Hmm that was quick?

Ares snapped his eyes open and saw that Veera was standing Infront of him. Death had not got to him at all, thanks to his angel watching over him.

“Get away from my him!”

A root had spurted out from the dry dead ground, capturing Orlov’s leg into a thick strong spiral. The senior Apsara scoffed and ripped the root that had snaked around his leg.

“Is that all you got Veera?”

Orlov moved in a flash move and gripped Veera’s throat holding her high in the air.

Veera was in his strong crushing hold and Ares was slipping in and out of unconsciousness. Veera knew she had to do something to get to him and to also get this evil douchebag off her.

“What’s the matter? Can’t fight back? Or are you too weak and pathetic against me?!”


Weak and pathetic?!
Orlov was about to throw her away from his sight, but Veera kicked Orlov harshly between his legs making him groan out. He dropped Veera cursing out. Veera then kicked back at his chest making him fly backwards harshly.

Orlov felt the power in her kick and got up ready to throw his fire ball at her to defeat her once and for all. Unfortunately for him the cloud cover had blocked the Sun out. Orlov looked back at Veera going towards Ares to tend to his wounds.
He hated seeing how much love and affection she had for him.

“Veera! I’m not done with you!” Orlov yelled at her, to get her attention.

“Stay with me Ares, I won’t let you get hurt anymore.”

T: Veera, you don’t have to do this.

Ares caught her hand and shook his head. Veera knew he wanted her to leave the Arena. But she was done running. Orlov had not only hurt him. He had tortured her friend. He tried to sexually assault Rita and kill her. He had tried to break her up with Ares and most of all, that fire f^cker had killed her parents.

Veera put her palm on Ares chest, healing him up with her energy before he passed out. She sighed out of relief when she felt he was in a stable condition, but knocked out from the shock. She turned back around and faced her enemy one final time.

Veera picked up the gladiator sword and Orlov picked up his firey blue palms.

“Come at me b!tch. I’m waiting.” He grinned in a menacing way.

Veera saw Orlov arrogantly take his stance. The cloud cover past by making Orlov stronger as he stepped into the Sun’s light again. He generated his fire ball towards an oncoming raging Veera.

“Die you fire f^cker!”

Releasing his fireball attack Orlov cackled out at Veera.

Veera saw it coming at her, and she yelled angrily and slashed through his attack leaving him speechless and stunned.

The furious Orlov gathered more of his energy and started firing at Veera, who kept on dodging his attacks. After getting nearer to him and Veera stabbed him right through his chest. Missing his internal organ. His heart.

Orlov spat out his blood and looked shocked at the fact that Veera had managed to stabbed him, with an ordinary sword.

She withdrew her sword out of his chest and saw him collapse on the ground.

But Orlov was not dead.

He grabbed Veera’s ankle and brought her down to the ground.

Veera was exhausted and turned around with fear written on her face. Orlov cackled again and started to burn her ankle with his palm. Veera let out a shrilling scream and Ares shot his eyes open, glowing them madly blue.

“You think I’ll let you get away?!”

Suddenly a shadow loomed over Orlov and growled angrily grabbing his body. He slammed his body against the tree trunk and Orlov groaned out in pain as he weakly got up on his knees.

“Yes. Because you’re the weak little fool who can’t see me.”

T: B!tch.

Orlov aimed his fire palm towards Ares and suddenly realised that his energy was down.

T: Would you look at that. He’s all smoked out.

Ares pulled his claws out and slashed Orlov across his body making him loose both his arms. Orlov fell on his knees yelling out in pain and with a final move, Ares slashed of his neck with his razor sharp claws. His head rolled out.

A beam of light shot through the air making Orlov’s body turn into ash.

Ares let out a powerful growl warning the other security Apsaras to beware. Many that had witnessed Ares kill Orlov ran for their lives. His pack members instantly fell on their knees In absolute submission to their Alpha.

Veera finally relaxed after seeing Orlov gone.

Ares quickly got to her and noticed that Orlov had left a burnt mark on her ankle.

T: That fire f^cker.

Veera steadily got up and limped on her foot, whilst hugging Ares out of relief. Ares embraced her in his strong arms making her feel safe again.

“He’s gone now Veera. You have nothing to worry about anymore.”

Rain started to pour down and Veera pulled away looking back in her lover’s eyes and crashed her lips with his.


Suddenly, their little moment was interrupted when a volcano erupted on the island making everyone go on panic mode.

The Island shook like it was having an Earthquake. The ground spilt beneath them, and Ares quickly pulled Veera to his side, and blocked a piece of the Arena wall that fell over them.

T: Well, that’s not good.

Nico then came down in his full form and in no time, Ares and Veera both got on him, fighting the rubble and the Earthquake away.

After coming out of the Arena, the little Earthquake had stopped, unfortunately the erupting Volcano had not.

After arriving back to the plane, Nico, Ares and the rest of the pack members had quickly changed, from their outfits that they brought along for the trip.

“Is everyone here? Good. Let’s get the hell of this island guys!” Franko said and everyone was in agreement apart from one wolf.

“Wait, two people are missing.” Sienna said doing a quick head count.

“Who are they?” Ares said feeling a little annoyed that he couldn’t go back home and tend to his mate’s wounds.

“Leo and Karina.”

Matteo growled out in annoyance and took of in a rush to look for one missing person in particular.

M: That crazy girl! I told her not to go!

“Leo is missing?” Veera asked worriedly.

“I’ll go find him.” Cora said quickly.

“Wait. I’m coming with you!” Veera said worriedly. She went to walk towards Cora but her ankle hurt like hell thanks to Orlov, injuring her. A short wince of pain escaped her lips and Veera froze quickly bending her bad leg.

Ares sighed and picked her up bridal style, making Veera sigh out.

“Ares put me down! I’m fine.”
“No you’re not.”

“He’s right Veera, you can’t come with me. You need to heal.”

“And I will, now put me down Ares.”

T: Nope.

“Cora, Kian, Franko and Sienna will split up into two teams to track down Leo and Karina. I want them back here within 3 hours or I’m leaving this Island with out you guys. Is that clear?”

“What?!” Veera and Cora both exclaimed in unison.

K: Babe he’s just joking.

C: I don’t think he is.

“I’m not joking. Besides, we need to get to safety before more of the fire f^ckers and the water f^ckers arrive. We don’t know how many are on this Island and we don’t have a full pack house to defend ourselves.”

“Hey, you got me Ares?” Veera said full of confidence.

T: Why am I turned on by her fiery nature?

“I know. But you’re still not going.”

“Veera, don’t worry about Leo we’ll find him and the girl soon enough.”

“Have faith in us Veera, we’ll bring them back.” Sienna said.

Veera sighed in defeat and nodded her head at her team. She watched them phase into their wolves and leave.
