Karina sat across from Jack back in her room.

She was upset with him, for not helping her escape. She couldn't believe he turned into one of them.

"So you decided to become a dog?" She said coldly, making her sigh at her choice of words.

"We are known traditionally as Werewolves, but we prefer to be called Weres. Not dogs Karina." Jack frowned at her.

Karina scoffed rolling her eyes disapprovingly at him.

"I can understand where your hatred comes from. Your parents.."

"Were killed by the damn dogs!" She said aggressively, cutting him off easily.

"Wrong. They were Rogues. We are not like those ruthless a$$holes Karina. We know self control, and we protect the community including humans from them."

She shook head and walked back and fourth in her room, arguing with Jack once more.

"How can you say that I'm safe here, when that psycho there back almost bit me!" She fired remembering crazy Mateo.

At that moment Kian, Cora and Mateo came inside her room.

C: What's going on?

K: This hot tempered teen likes Leo, babe.

Cora looked at Karina briefly and then turned her attention back towards her cocky looking mate.

C: Tell me you didn’t kidnap her?

K: We had no choice.

Cora sighed out and went back outside, to cool off. Damn Werewolf mafia. She didn't approve of him kidnapping little kids like her just to get to Leo. Kian saw that Cora was upset with him and knew he'd have to work hard again to make up with her. But first he had to make his cute little (stolen) friend feel at home.

Kian approached Karina and pulled out a rose from the back, giving it to her.

Her eye began to twitch with annoyance. Karina at this point was a boiling mess, seeing Kian, holding a rose for her as if was damn, Valentine's day!

J: She's seriously p!ssed at you Kian.

K: I can see that.

"I'm sorry I took you, from your boyfriend."

"Leo is not my boyfriend?!" She snapped, controlling her skipping heartbeats. Secretly Karina couldn't deny the fact that she'd like to be his Leo's girlfriend. But seriously what was wrong with her? He was strictly forbidden pursue because he was sexy old guy that she couldn't have! Damn their age gap.

"You sure?" Kian teased riling her up again, and Jack held in his laughter seeing Karina go red with embarrassment and fury all at once.

"You kidnapped me just so that you can call him out?"

"Yes, you're the bait."

"Well you're wrong! He won't come!"

"We'll see, princess." Kian held out the rose.

Karina fake smiled and grabbed it from him and snapped the rose stem in half, showing her disapproval. She then went to scream and charged at him fisting her fist to the side and going in for a punch.

K: Here we go.

Kian easily blocked her attack and growled down at her, telling her easily to calm down. Fear took over her as he glowed his eyes at her. She was trapped in his hold and Karina's eyes watered when Kian broke out. What was this crazy guy thinking in that crazy head of his?!

Karina went to pull out of his hold, but Kian grabbed her over his shoulder and spun her around in a circle making her squeal out of surprise. This time Jack couldn't hold back his laughter and neither could an entering Mateo.

"Stop! Put me down! Put me down!!" She fired whilst she started hitting his back.

Kian put her down as requested.

Karina fell on the ground out of dizziness.

Jack tried to help her up but Karina slapped his hand away in annoyance, and got up to her feet, glaring back at Kian who just playfully bullied her. Kian picked up the rose (she threw) from the ground and snapped the half broken stem even closer with sharp claw. Karina froze as he came closer, and he retracted his claws seeing that it made her extremely scared of him.

He put the rose behind her ear, making her look fiercely cute in his eyes.

"There. Doesn't she look beautiful?" Kian pinched her cheeks making her glare at him.

"Like a rose." Jack joked.

"She looks so cute Kian, that I can almost bite her." Mateo said with no joke, making Karina feel creeped out and scared sh!tless of him. A shiver easily went down her spine when he winked at her.

J: Stop scaring her!

M: I can't help it!

Karina backed away from him Kian. She wanted to remove the pieace of rose from her hair and throw it at Kian angrily. However she held in her intentions. What the hell would Kian do to her if she seriously p!ssed him off? Her eyes then locked towards Mateo and she stepped closer to her the only one, who made her feel safe in this room. Jack.

"Look. I just want to go home?" She simply said politley as she could, controlling her water works.

"Karina sweetheart play nice with us. We'll send you home in good time." Kian rest assured.

Karina looked at Jack who nodded his head. That did make her feel a little better, but she didn't want to stick around, since she obviously didn't trust them. Especially Mateo, who clearly said that he wanted to bite her! No. Not going to happen. She'd have to be brave and fight him with all she had if he decided to do that to her.

Her eyes darted breifly towards the window and door, to which Kian easily took notice off.

"I need to go back home, right now!" Karina demanded in a commanding tone.

Her girlfriends were in trouble. Only she could save them, but instead she was stuck here, wherever the hell here was!

"Are you in a hurry to see Leo?" Kian asked in a teasing manner.

M: Whose Leo?

K: The guy she's crushing on

Jack chuckled and knew Leo would find it annoying as hell when he got the chance to tease him.

"I don't want to see Leo, if his involved with you filthy loose dogs!" Fireball was on fire.

Mateo growled angrily making Karina step back until she was glued to the back of the wall.

K: Wow, she's rude.

Kian controlled his inner wolf who simply wanted to bend her over his lap, and give her a good spanking.

J: Easy, giver her some time she's just scared and angry. She had a rough past with the rogues that killed her parents.

Jack quickly explained making Kian realise why she was hostile towards them.

M: We're not rogues, and we're certainly not dogs either.

Mateo said glowing his green eyes briefly at her.

Kian sighed out and looked at the troubled teen staring away from Mateo's gaze.

"Don't call us dogs sweetheart." Kian said, and Karina folded her arms over her chest still keeping up with her cold tone towards him.

"Whatever, can I go home now?" Karina fired keeping her fear on hold, she had no intentions of showing them she was weak infront of them, However she was slowly loosing that battle mentally, knowing she was soon going to crack if they didn't leave her alone.

"You will if you co-operate?" Jack said making Karina looked at him surprised.

Co-operate?! That crazy douchebag (Mateo) almost bit me and you want me to co-operate after kidnapping me?! That's a big fat NO JACK! Karina held in her angry thoughts and looked at Jack with a 'seriously?' look.

"Wow, I thought you were my friend Jack? You're supposed to be a cop. You're supposed to be walking out the door and escorting me back home." She knew a 100% that Leo would.

"I sent in my badge last week. I'm part of this pack." Jack said proudly making Kian smile.

"You can be part of the dream team too, teen wolf?" Kian added giving Karina an open invitation.

J: Stop it, she's a kid!

K: True, I guess we can wait until she's eighteen?

M: Yes, I'd like to volunteer to claim her.

She shook her head with a big fat NO and snapped her attention back to the pack leader. Kian. Who had suddenly fallen silent and no doubt communicating with Jack and that other douchebag privately, through their mind link. If only she knew what they were talking about?

Karina feared the worst. What if they were planning to kill her, I mean, she'd been taken by the mafia. What if Kian was lying and planned on keeping her like some kind of maid or even worse a slave?!

"I need you to send me home right now, ok ...Pppuppy?" She stuttered out nervously. She was loosing her fiery act.

K: Puppy?

J: Yeah, the little dragonfly just called you Puppy Kian?

M: I heard it too.

Mateo and Kian chuckled at her careful choice of word. Jack hid his laughter and smiled at Karina who was doing her best from saying the offensive D word to them.

"I think she means Papi?" Kian whispered cheekily out loud at Mateo who was standing next to him. Mateo flashed her an amusing grin.

Karina ignored that comment and Kian picked up on her sudden restless behaviour. She suddenly went over to Kian and held on to his jacket surprising him. His inner wolf sensed that she wasn't afraid of him but something else was clearly bothering her and she was trying to control her lump in her throat.

"Please! Send me home! I need to go home!" She fired out in a desperate state.

Kian put his teasing play on hold. What was this persistent teen up to now?

Kian embraced her in a warm hug and Karina couldn't help but hug him so lost and stressed due to a huge level of worry. Plus, she was using her clever intuition of emotional black mail to be sent home early.

Kian's inner wolf easily picked up on her strange behaviour

K: She's not afraid of me, is something bothering her? Has she told you anything?

Kian asked staring back at Jack in silence as he calmed her down.

J: She wouldn't speak to me much after I told her she wasn't going home right away.

Kian pulled her away and wiped her tears away. Karina sighed out controlling her sudden emotional state with him going silent. She looked down not meeting his eyes.

"Karina, what's wrong? Talk to me?" Kian said feeling brotherly towards her.

However, she couldn't hide the real truth from him much longer.

"My friends, they're in trouble. I need to find them before another stupid drug dealer tracks them down and makes their life hell."

M: She sounds like she's telling you the truth bro?

K: She is, I was there and heard everything that crazy a$$ said to her before I killed him.

Kian sighed out and sensed his mate Cora standing out the door. She was obviously worried about Karina now too.

K: I'll have my men look into this.

J: Those b!tches, I think I know who she might have been involved with.

Jack said having done his previous search on her before she started doing community service for his Grandma.

"You're staying here for some time until Leo gets here." Kian said finally letting go of her.

K: Mateo guard her.

M: With pleasure.

J: Wait you're making him watch her?!

Jack wasn't too happy about that.

K: Listen Jack. You're still new to this, and there is much to learn. For example just now. Karina faked cried on me. She's going to run, I can feel it. She knows you too well to fool you and you're unfortunately soft on her, because of her past. However Mateo is not. He's the perfect wolf for her since he can pick up on her lies easily and will handle Karina with great care.

Kian looked at Mateo stritcly.

M: Scouts honour.

Jack was speechless.

It was true, Karina was a clever fire cracker and Jack easily trusted her. He was right. He couldn't tell when she was fake crying either. Damn. This clever brat was good at acting.

Kian and Jack went to walk away but Karina's heart flipped stones when she noticed Mateo wasn't leaving, and staring back at her with a playful grin.

"Wait! Jack where are you going?" Karina grabbed his hand preventing him from leaving her.

"I have business to attend with Kian, so Mateo will watch you." He flatly said.

"Jack?!" She shook her head at him and gestured with her eyes easily telling him 'No, don't leave me with this a$$hole!'

Jack hated doing this to her, but it was for her own protection.

J: Mateo, play nice.

M: I promise, I'll be on my best behaviour with her.

Jack ignored his lustful gaze at her and knew that he could trust him. He turned towards a worried looking Karina and gave her a reassuring squeeze of his hand. He looked at her worried looking big brown eyes and that said 'Hey. Everything will be ok.'

"Don't do anything stupid or Mateo will bite you." Jack said strictly making Karina go speechless, with his sudden threat. He gave her a sweet smile and kissed her forehead and then pushed her into Mateo arms, quickly.

Karina yelped out in surprise when he back hugged her, trapping her in his hold quickly, and darkly chuckled as if he was her bad villian in her book.

Mateo growled playfully besides her ear. Making Karina freeze in his hold and saw Jack closing the door behind them.

"Hmm, what will I do with you now?" Mateo huskily said against her ear making Karina nervously gulp.
