96. Monster Issues pt 1

"I can't let you do that." Enzo said looking down at her with ut-most respect.

"Why not?"

"Alpha's orders."

Veera sighed and nodded. Ares had quite the power over his pack members. But it didn't matter.
She went to turn on her heel and then turned on her heel again, to blow gold dust on his face.
Enzo stumbled on his feet and he went to growl out to warn the others, but Veera was quick to clamp his mouth shut.

"Shhh, that's it big boy. Go to sleep."

Enzo couldn't fight the deep sleep taking over him, and soon fell limp on the floor.
Veera grabbed the key from his neck and unlocked the dungeon room.

She came down the stony staircase and failed to find the switch.
Luckily the light shone through the little window.
Seeing Leo laying on the floor, she quickly rushed towards him.

"Leo!"
She called out his name.
Leo, who had been sleep deprived and lacking food and water for days, woke up slowly with a blurry vision again.

"Karina?" He whispered out, with his dry throat.
Karina? Oh yes, she had heard about the teenage girl that he came to save. Poor guy, he must be so worried sick about her. She took his face carefully in her hands and saw his reduced reddish eyes.

"Leo, it's me. Veera?"

His vision cleared and Leo smiled, hearing her voice.

"V?"

Veera smiled and wiped off his cold sweat from her thin robe that she wore. She took of her robe and put it around him, and did her best to try and keep him warm. She quickly went over to the table and poured out some water in the glass.
Leo couldn’t believe she was here. What was she doing here, in the first place? Many questions swirled in his head but he didn’t care. He was just glad to see her.
But as soon as he saw the water glass in her hand, Leo closed his eyes and looked away bracing himself for another water slap. It pained Veera to see him so afraid like this.

Poor guy. They really tortured him down here.

"Leo, it's ok. Drink." She said placing the water to his lips.
How many days had he gone without water?
Leo drank the water and finished the water fast, chocking away at the end. Veera, she was always there even when he was suffering so greatly like this. He hated the fact that the Ares stolen her from him.

"More." He whispered at her and Veera controlled her tears and fetched him another glass straight away.
She gave him water again and pulled out two grapes from her silky pocket. She'd taken from the fruit table in her room.

"Eat."

Leo, had been starving for many days, that when he ate the juicy dark grapes from her hand, he couldn't help but shed a tear. The taste of the grapes made him feel alive again.

"Thanks." Leo looked down, controlling his tears. He was so messed up due to the pills, torture and his friend’s betrayal. Veera felt his pain and controlled crying Infront of him. She had never seen Leo look so broken like this before.
Veera hugged him and held him for a while.

"It’s going to be ok. It’s going to be ok Leo."
She felt guilty truly. Leo was here because she wanted to see him better again. But things were complicated since he had consumed a lot of pills.

"Free me." He simply requested.
That was out of the question. He was still strongly addicted to the soldier pills, and Veera or her friends couldn’t see him loose himself like this.

"Join the pack Leo."
Leo pushed Veera away harshly with hands.

"Get lost." He said coldly standing up on his feet, a little wobbly. Leo stumbled in his balance, but Veera quickly caught him supporting him.
He pushed her away again angrily.

“Get away from me.”
Veera stood up to her feet and looked back at him, seeing as his rage kicked in again. Those stupid soldier pills messed with calm nature.

"Why can't you just see that we're trying to help you?"
Leo scoffed and shook his head, now in control of his balance.

"By keeping me a prisoner? How is that helping me? HUH?!" Leo shouted out making Veera slightly flinch at his sudden volume of voice.

“Stop shouting, I’m right here.” She snapped back.

Leo chuckled sarcastically, seeing her new found confidence. Leo couldn’t help but look at what she was wearing and stared right at her chest. Veera quickly grabbed her thin robe from the ground and put tied it around her making Leo look away momentarily. He couldn’t deny the fact that she was looked sexy in her little silk robe.

"You've consumed a lot of soldier pills, and I can't have you loosing your life over them." Veera said ignoring his lustful eyes on her.

"I'm in control of how much I take."

"What will happen if you overdose? I along with Jack and Cora will loose our friend."

Leo scoffed and spit on the ground near her feet.

"You’re all traitors. Don't talk about friendship to me Veera. Remember I was the one that warned you about Ares. I was the one that tried to save you from that sly cunning a$$hole that has you all wrapped around his finger..I..." Leo lost his words to speak when he looked down at Veera's left hand.

"What's that?"
Veera looked down at her hand and held it closely near her chest.

"I'm getting married." She smiled.
Leo hit the wall in an aggressive manner, and shook his head.

"NO! Don't be stupid V. Please! He's going to turn you into a monster."
Veera rolled her eyes and shortly chuckled at his worried tension. Leo gave her a hard glare not finding it amusing at all.

"Leo, I get that you're upset with Ares. But you have to let it go. Can't you see that I'm happy?"

Leo shook his head at her and turned away, looking out the small window.
Veera wiped away her sudden tears and stood there watching him in silence.

"I won't be turned into a monster V." He said perfectly calmly.
Veera approached him carefully and gave Leo a warm back hug. He stood frozen for a second as she hugged him tightly, not saying a word.

"You will never be a monster to me."

Ares jaws clenched as he controlled a raging Troy inside of him.

T: Get your hands of him V!
Suddenly Leo broke out of her hold and slammed Veera up against the wall. Veera was shocked but tripped Leo quickly and choke slammed him on the floor.
Ares held himself back seeing Veera trying to defend herself against the drugged up fool.

“How dare you even think about turning me into a dog V?!”

"Calm down!"
Leo was amazed by what she just did, but tackled her again and tangled her wrists with his long chain shackles.

A: I told her not to come down here.

“Don’t you know the consequences. If I get turned into a beast, I’ll think like one, I’ll loose my human side and I’ll go crazy! Don’t you know, that I can end up hurting you if that animal part of me takes control?!”
Leo tackled her and flipped her on her back holding her hands down firmly.
Veera glared at him and gritted out.

“Then I’ll just have to put a leash on you!”
She grabbed his hair and wrestled with him some more. However Leo tackled her again and got on top of her holding her hands firmly down again with his iron shackles. He was amazed to see that she learnt how to defend herself like this.

"Interesting." Leo grinned, looking down at her darkly chuckling at her, quite amused with her clever threats.
Veera concentrated on untangling herself from his iron shackles but damn, he was too strong for her.

“What are you doing down here anyway, shouldn’t you be with your monster?”

“He’s not a monster!”

Ares loved the way she defended him.

“Yes he is. But you’re too blind to see that. But don’t worry Veera I still love you.” Leo said not giving up and stroked her up her thigh.
Veera looked at him angrily.

“Stop don’t behave this way with me!”
Leo chuckled and looked down at her with a heavy sigh.

“I can’t help the fact that you’re turning me on, V? Honestly you should have wore more clothes than coming to see me in your oh so sexy night wear.” Leo shamelessly kissed her chest and Veera smacked his face with full rejection.
Leo sighed out and looked down at her angrily.

This was not lust.

Leo wasn’t in love with her either. She knew he was scared of letting her go, and that’s why he was acting very possessively with her.

He was still mildly intoxicated with those damn pills that made him unfortunately angry and horny.

“I came to see you, to see if you’re ok? But I know now, you’re not!” Veera clonked her head with his and Leo let his hands drop, releasing his strength on her. Veera quickly freed herself and turned on her heel, but Leo grabbed her by her waist and back hugged her tightly.

“You’re right, I’m not, I’m p!ssed of by the fact that you’re marrying a monster!”

“Ares is not a monster, he’s a man that I love!”
Leo turned her around quickly and suddenly crashed his lips with hers. Veera angrily pushed him away and turned her face fast. She slapped Leo, who cackled at her like a mad man.

“What’s the matter didn’t you like that?”

T: Get of my girl!

“Stop Leo! This isn’t you!” She said but Leo refused and started kissing down on her shoulder, making her push him away angrily.
Leo was full of hurt he hated the fact that Veera was still in love with the monster that took her. How dare he! Veera belonged to him. If she could only realise how much he cared for her, perhaps there was still hope?
Veera slapped Leo’s face harshly.

“Get off me!”

A mad growl erupted through the cell. Leo was suddenly thrown across the wall angrily and Ares glowed his eyes dangerously blue at him. He charged at Leo and same.

However Ares easily sucker punched him. Veera yelped as Ares picked Leo up with one hand by his neck and growled out viciously at him, narrowing his stone cold blue glowing raging eyes at him.

“So you think I’m a monster?” Ares grinned and Leo coughed up blood as he squeezed his neck some more.
