67. Truth Hurts

"John?!"

The blonde headed man asked looking like Bradley Fine from the movie Spy.

At this point, Veera had failed to remember his name. She was too shocked and couldn't think quite straight as she blurted out yet another name, hoping it was the right one this time.

"Joe?"

Wrong, it's not Joe, or John!" he snapped in irritation and pulled her with him. Dragging her downstairs where Judy sat on a coach, whilst sipping on a glass of champagne.

Judy was most digusted with the human who had cleverly lured Ares into bedding him. How dare she. She still failed to belive that Veera was his mate.

Veera was pushed down on a chair, whilst 'Joe' (as she previously named the intruder) sat her down with force.

She saw Ares on the coach passed out.

Troubled stirred in the air, as she looked at Judy and Joe who she'd seen at the business meeting earliar in the day.

"Ares?! Wake up!" Veera shouted making Ares heavy eye lids open up breifly.

Judy was amazed, the drug was meant to have knocked him out for another hour but it looks like Ares was somehow fighting the drowsy effects on him. Judy cursed lightly. This wasn't in her plan and she didn't dare to drug him up some more. Another dose of what she blew on him, would end his life. Somthing, Judy wanted to avoid.

"Judy, what's going on?" Veera asked as 'Joe' put his hand on her shoulder, preventing her from getting up.

"What's going on, is you're about to die sweetheart." Judy snapped her fingers and Veera froze as John pulled out his claws.

Veera controlled her beating heartbeats of fear. She wanted to cry, she wanted to whimper but right now, was not the time or situation for her to do so.

Clearly, she could sense the hostility towards her.

Ares, came back to consciousness and looked around the room. The one that had knocked him out, sat before him holding a glass of champagne and then he heard a rather trembling heart beat. His eyes snapped towards where Veera sat with her almost watery eyes. His mate was frightened, and this p!ssed him off greatly. He growled up instantly seeing Thomas out with his claws standing behind Veera's chair, ready to do the worst.

"Not another move Alpha Ares, or Veera here dies." Judy warned, flashing her yellow eyes at him.

"DD...DDo as they say Ares." Veera said with a nervous sweat drop. Judy's lips curled with her sinister nature. She loved being in control and she loved the fact that Ares was powerless, in for a moment. Veera was truly his kryptonite.

Thomas knelt down besides of Veera and smelt her head. The stupid Were had grown rather curious about her scent. Veera closed her eyes, and turned away from his face. Thomas took her chin and made her look at him.

"She's quite a snack." Thomas sneered, making Veera feel absolutely disgusted.

**T: This Avere la faccia come il culo!**

Troy was itching to grab Thomas and throw him out of the window, but Ares (who wished to do the same) controlled his very angry wolf.

"Thomas don't play with your food yet, we have unfinished business here." Judy said avoiding the game of Twister on the floor. Obviously she came just in time to interrupt him getting laid with her.

Troy grew silent but Ares could tell he was conjuring up ways to kill both of the foolish wolves that got in between him and his mate tonight. He could snap both their necks in a blink of an eye, but seeing as Thomas had his sharp claws resting on the nape of Veera, Ares patiently waited for the right moment.

"What is it that you want Judy?" Ares asked, keeping his tone calm and collected, keeping his eyes glues on a nervous looking Thomas.

Judy looked at Ares seductively and pushed him back on the couch and sat on his lap.

"Isn't it obvious?" She licked his cheek making Veera clench her teeth.

She saw her kissing his cheek, and Ares pulled away from her, But Judy growled forcefully kissing him on his lips.

"Get off him!" She suddenly snapped, making Troy suddenly wag his tail at her.

**T: Yeah b!tch, get off me!"**

Judy then laughed and got off Ares relunctantly and turned towards Veera, looking very, very annoyed her way. This little brat.

"You're in no position to tell me what to do."

She pulled on her collar and glowed her yellow eyes at her. Veera showed no signs of fear this time, which ticked Judy off. The defiant little human was getting on her nerves. She saw her mark near the nape of her neck and pulled out her claws scratching at her skin.

Veera's eyes went wide with pain, as she controlled her scream in her throat. Instead she trembled with fear seeing Judy smirk at her.

Troy growled darkly.

**T: This pûŧŧāňa!**

Ares stood up and pulled her harshly away from his mate, making her crash against the wall. He was about to attack Thomas next but a dark laugh stopped him.

Judy the crazy one got back up to her feet.

"I see you truly love her, which really is a shame Ares, because I am ten times much better than her!" Judy attacked Ares on his back and Veera saw them almost phasing into their true selves.

"STOP!" Veera screamed and this time Thomas pulled up a chair and sat besides the tempting human to watch the drama unfold. He was enjoying watching Judy take on the Alpha.

"STOP! STOP!!" Veera shouted again seeing Ares darkly snarling and growling at one another.

No one was listening to Veera.

"You don't honestly think that a low life human such as her, can truly be one of us?!"

Ares grabbed her throat and pinned her to the wall.

**A: I dare you to say that one more time.**

Judy silently freaked out. She knew her life was on the line and she knew, what a horrible and dangerous game she was playing with her life.

"Ares don't kill her!!" Veera screamed and Ares controlled his strong urges to do so. Veera was not accustomed to his brutal ways when he dealt with his enemies. Judy was shocked.

**A: See that? That's called mercy, be thankful to her that she's the one that's giving it and not me.**

"Please!" She begged.

Hearing her command. Ares involuntarily stopped. His dear Veera had a big heart, Judy who was freaking out heavily inside knew, she had ticked of her Alpha, but at the same time, she clenched her teeth to see that Veera, a mortal had just saved her from him snapping at her neck like a twig.

Judy saw the control she had over him and confidently laughed, burying her fear away.

**J: Wow. Impressive isn't she? A mere human. Has got you wrapped around her finger Ares?**

She walked over to her and gave her a slap across the cheek. She didn't care she was adding more fire to Ares's rage.

"You're a pathetic weak little human Veera. You have no right, to be by his side." Her words stung her like the truth.

"I do have the right." Veera said bravely, looking up at her with tears escaping her now reddish eyes. She noticed the love she held for Ares, and Troy was moved by her words. Feeling jealous again Judy was about to slap her again, but Ares caught her wrist, and pushed her away.

"Enough!" Ares warned darkly against Judy's ear. In that breif moment, Judy trembled with fear. The next move threatened to end her life.

Thomas pulled Veera quickly and held her as hostage, making Ares freeze in his hold.

Ares grolwed heavily, making the floor and the walls vibrate with his rage.

Judy backed away from Ares as her feet threatned to buckle to kneel in submission. She was amazed to see Veera standing her ground without a fear in her bone. Just who was this damn b!tch?! Everyone fell to his feet when he growled angrily like that.

**A: Get away from my mate, Thomas.**

**Th: No can do Alpha Ares.** He shook his head at him, whilst trembling with fear. Another step closer, and Thomas would surely fall into submission too.

Ares growled furiously at him flashing his eyes blue at him. Troy was on the verge of taking over, and Ares was heavily controling him.

Judy, the laughing hyena continued.

"You have no right sweetheart. You're just not one of us, and you'll never will be a wolf. Infact. I find it really odd, that you didn't die when Ares bit you? Human mates are very, very rare. This is sad. Ares, you need a she-wolf who is brave and strong not like this weakling that'll easily break."

She used the last word making Veera feel very fragile.

Ares saw the hurt on her face.

But at that moment. Veera knew, she was telling her the truth, a hot tear rolled down her cheek.

"Don't listen to her Veera." Ares said and Veera fell silent.

A part of what Judy said, was absolutely correct. Veera was indeed a weakling.

"Why are you really here?" Ares snapped before she got more suspicious over who Veera was.

He knew Judy was an ambitious person. She slept around with the people she wanted to get good business out of, she even tried it with Ares numerous times, and tried to seduce him when he was seeing Gina at that time. Judy was greedy when it came to power.

But seeing her flung herself to the next rich guy, Ares was quite put off with her loose nature.

The hundred and sixty year old girl that looked no more than twenty-five rolled her yellow glowing eyes.

She pulled out a document, and made Ares read it.

**T: This gold digger!**

"You want me to give you all of my shares so you can be the next CEO here?" Ares raised a brow.

"Exactly." Judy gave him that 'bingo' tone

Veera was shocked. This was sabotage. How dare she use her as a hostage to try and take over. Veera realised that she was doing this because her business proposal had backfired this morning.

She still wanted to go ahead with the plans and build that wreck less hotel by the cliffs. She was insane.

"Don't do it Are MMM!"

Thomas held her mouth shut.

"Quiet, or I'll bite you." Thomas threatened. His mouth was watering away seeing the blood trickle down from her scratch wounds, and Thomas was desperately trying to control his inner wolf, who was craving to taste her.

Ares quickly sensed what that idiotic omega was up to.

**T: I'll knock his teeth out!**

Ares watched in a fury as Veera silently told him not to react with her eyes.

"Well, what will it be? Your hotel or your stupid precious human's life?"

Without a word.

Ares grabbed the paper, and signed the document.

Veera's eyes went wide, she couldn't believe he just did that.

Judy's eyes gleamed with excitement. Tomorrow she couldn't wait to declare to the board, that Ares had given up his precious title in a heartbeat.

Ares handed her the paperwork, and looked sharply at Thomas, whom he was itching to kill.

There were a hundred times that Judy wanted to see her dead. But Judy wasn't stupid. She knew, Ares would flip his switch and kill both her and Thomas in a heartbeat if that happened.

No, she got what she came here for and now was the time to get out, before Ares here decided to rip the document. It seemed, he wanted no further interruptions when it came to his mate.

"Before I forget. If you try to come after me or my cousin Thomas in any way, remember I have a video tape with you charming the pants out of the Mr Tanaka's wife, Mrs Midori, from Japan. She invested a lot after you slept with her."

Ares resisted a growl. This hungry power whore had been spying on him.

**T: This sly B1tch**

Veera's heart was stunned when she heard this.

Ares knew he'd have to explain his playboy ways with her later. He was a changed man, now that he found her.

"Where's the proof?"

Judy showed him a clip of him and the Ares grabbed her phone quickly thrashing it against the wall.

Judy laughed again.

**T: Where's the mute button? Someone stop her annoying laughter!**

"I've made copies, so you destroying this won't really bother me."

Judy turned on her heel, and put a hand over Veera's shoulder, coldly. Even after the brat saved her life from Ares's wrath on her, she didn't have an ounce of courtesy to apologise to her, let alone be thankful to her.

"Word of advice, little girl, break up with him. Because you'll never survive the big bad wolves that will come after you."

Chills ran down Veera's spine as she walked out the door with Thomas, who gave one last long look at Veera before tunring away.

Veera saw Ares fuming, and he wanted to go out and chase both of them down, but Veera hugged him from the back, stopping him. Sighing, he turned around to face his wounded mate.

"Why?! Why did you sign the document?"

Ares jaw clenched. He'd have to deal with Judy and Thomas later.

Turning around Ares took her hand and made her sit on the couch. She watched in silence, and Ares got a bowl of water and some bandages.

"You'll be fine by tomorrow." He carefully, wiped her blood away but Veera hissed in pain.

Troy thought of dark thoughts of torturing Judy once he caught her.

"Why?" Veera whispered holding back her tears.

Ares kissed the back of her cold hands. He felt her controlling her shock.

"Because, I love you. I'd give up anything for you, Veera."

Veera's eyes teared up and, she hugged him. She couldn't belive Ares loved her so much. Ares relaxed and carefully hugged her back stroking the back of her head.

"You're crazy!" Veera said and hissed in pain.

Ares pulled her away carefully.

"Hold still, I need to clean your wound Veera."

"I'm fine! I'll heal."

"But I can't let you bleed like this."

"But it hurts.." Veera whined.

Then Ares sighed putting the wool of cotton away and holding her wrists gently in his hands. Veera gulped as he leaned towards her face and gave her kiss. Ares pulled away and looked down at her bleeding wound.

His eyes now flashed blue and Veera knew.

"Troy, wh..what are you doing?"

"Baby, you're hurt so I need you to relax and let me *take care* of this."

His hot breath came on her nape and whilst feeling the pain and excitement of tingles on her skin, Veera fell silent, as Troy licked at her wounds with his hot tongue carefully making her gasp out. As much as he was turned on by her sounds, he knew now was not the time to make love to her.

Her blood entered his system, and Ares and Troy both felt a wild energy flowing inside of them. Veera was not only delicious but they could feel her strength and power coming from her blood. Troy pulled away, and carefully bandaged her up. Her blood was incredible. After tasting Veera, he vowed to kill anyone that even dared to bite or taste her.

He saw that, Veera had fallen asleep and carefully picked her up in his arms.

The passionate night he wanted to have with her, was undoubtedly postponed, due to the un invited guests.

Judy could have the company for now.

Thomas could be her puppet for as long as he liked.

After putting a blanket on Veera, and kissing her cheek.

Ares picked up her phone that was from the ground.

It was Franko calling.

Ares answered.

*"What happened? I heard her shouting and calling someone 'John?'"*

John? Ares made a mental note to ask Veera about calling the perverted prick Thomas John, later. He was definetly on top of his 'To kill' list.

Ares explained what happened and Franko cursed. He couldn't believe Judy of all the trusted Weres on the board went that far. Franko had to call off his men to go after Judy and Thomas, since she was black mailing Ares.

"Kyou (Mr Tanaka) is a good friend of mine Franko. We don't want to go war with him thanks to Judy."

*"She played dirty chess!"*

"Franko, I need you to fix this for me, because if I see her, and I will. She will be good as dead."

*"What about Thomas?"*

"Leave that dirty omega to me."

Ares cut the call, and got back to bed with Veera. He held her close, taking in her wonderful calming scent. Tonight Judy and Thomas were going to party however it won't be for a long time.
