62. This is not horse riding!

"Why don't you freshen up first? I'll be back soon." Ares said and Veera caught his hand.

"Where are you going?"

**T: Yeah Ares, where are we going?**

Troy asked rather annoyed to leave her in the room by herself.

He was hoping to join her in the shower, and 'play' with her.

Ares controlled his excitement, thinking about it.

"I'm going to make quick arrangements for our day tomorrow, that's all."

Veera smiled looking quite interested.

"What sort of arrangements?"

"You'll find out tomorrow." He kissed her cheek leaving her in suspense.

After Ares left, Veera decided to have a quick shower, she brushed her teeth and changed into her not so sexy pyjamas.

Ares still hadn't come back and Veera did her best to try and stay awake.

She was feeling excited and nervous and suddenly imagined how he would really 'take her.'

Just thinking about him taking her V card made her nervous. What would he be like?

The thought made her blush.

She rolled in the bed, left to right just thinking about it.

Veera sat up and decided that the minute Ares walked through the door.

She was going to make the first move, and pounce on him!

That would get him off guard.

But then she also thought about other naughty moves.

Ares came back and closed the door quietly behind him.

He had his quick shower. He came out wearing his slacks and a vest top and slid inside the covers with her pulling her close, carefully.

"Goodnight tesoro." He kissed her cheek and switched off the lights.

The next morning.

Veera woke up and found Ares fast asleep next to her.

She blushed seeing his charming sleeping face.

Veera carefully went to touch his thick dark eyebrows and then brushed her fingers over his beautiful luscious lips.

His handsome face made her smile.

Suddenly Ares playfully bit at her finger and Veera gasped in a startle as he snapped open his eyes.

Veera blushed and sat up on the bed as he smirked at her, with her heart skipping a beat.

"What were you doing?"

"Nn..nothing!" A stupid smile played on her lips and Ares grabbed her trapping her beneath him.

"That didn't 'feel' like nothing to me." Ares looked down at her and before she could reply, he crashed his lips with her.

He pulled away and sat up kissing the back of her hands.

"As much as I want to continue this beautiful moment, we need to get ready."

"Ready for what?"

"Well first we're going for a business meeting and then we'll go for horse riding and then we'll go hiking."

So that's what he was up to last night. Veera smiled at his plans.

"Wow, that sounds like an adventure?"

"Trust me, it will be." For you Ares ate his last words.

Feeling nervous and shy, Veera didn't invite Ares to join her for her shower. I mean yes, he was her boyfriend now, but she was still shy around him. Besides, it was too risky for her to loose herself control over him. No, no, no. She was not going to jump his bones, today. Not even tommorow. Veera loved having self control.

Ares respected her wishes and behaved himself. He could now relax, knowing she was warming up to him slowly and he could take his sweet time seducing her. Troy wagged his tail already coming up with wild ideas to bed her tonight.

After getting ready and eating breakfast, Ares then guided Veera to his business meeting.

He opened the door for her, and Veera was surprised to see a group of people sitting at the table.

"After you." Veera reluctantly came inside and noticed women and men sitting in their business suits.

She suddenly felt under dressed with her simple casual wear, of jeans, a hoody and trainers.

Veera smiled and was about to sit down at chair near the wall but Ares took her hand and guided her to sit at the head of the table.

"Good morning everyone, sorry for being late. This is my girlfriend Veera, who'll be joining us for todays meeting." Ares stood by her chair and looked at the board of members.

Veera smiled and some gave her a look of appreciation whilst others disapproved of her casual appearance, and non Were-ish self. A human as a mate to the Alpha was just simply. Unheard of.

"Nice to meet you Miss Veera...sorry what's your last name?"

**T: Cascata.**

**A: Soon Troy, soon.**

"Oh, it's Chanda." Veera stated making Ares smile down at her with other thoughts flying in his head.

"Miss Veera Chanda, and how exactly are you associated with our CEO?" A lady in the suit asked sharply making Veera, slightly nervous.

What an excellent question. How the hell was she supposed to answer that? Oh we met in the alley way when he was litrally dying and I just happened to run into him and save his a$$. Veera didn't want to disclose the fact that she was somthing else to the board.

"Judy, that's a personal question." Ares said not happy with her.

But she knew she was going to face these questions sooner or later. People were bound to talk and she couldn't have rumours flying around about her.

Veera took notice of some sort of discomfort on his face whilst he saw the blonde haired woman with a big bust.

"No, it's ok. Ares is actually a close friend of mine. Infact. We hit it off in Hawaii? Didn't we babe?" Veera said winking at him quicky, leaving out the part where he actually kidnapped her without her permission.

"We sure did." He kissed the back of her hand charmingly making her blush.

Judy rolled her eyes and the tension died down.

A board member then played the slide show showing a great location of the hotel.

"I mean, it's practically a killer sea view and the guests would no doubt love it.." Judy said backing the board member up.

Veera was quite fascinated to see the presentation and Ares looked down at her.

"So what do you think?" Ares asked.

Veera was surprised that he was asking her this.

"I mean, I'm not an expert and the location looks great, but..."

"But what?" Judy asked sharply. She was the one showcasing this project on the HD tv screen.

"You're building a hotel near a cliff, don't you think it's risky, because of the...oh I don't know? Landslides? The erosion of the cliffs will not support your hotel in the next five years if you build it too close, just for the 'killer sea view.'" Veera said using her choice of words, making Judy glare at her.

Ares smirked internally and looked at the board, with a strict poker face.

"I agree. Besides. I'd got some reports earlier from Nico saying it wasn't safe building our next project here. Any, how it's extremely way out of town and quite remote, the territory hasn't been explored deeply and we do not want to build on a green zone..."

Ares said and brought along his chip that he plugged into the computer and discussed what kind of location he was after.

The board agreed and Judy clenched her teeth at Veera and sat down in her seat reluctantly.

"So I will give you two more months to find a suitable place."

The meeting went on and the board members agreed. Judy was not happy.

After the meeting was adjourned. Veera smiled at Ares and he opened the door for her again.

She saw him in a different light. Smart, formal and so sophisticated.

"Did you like the meeting?"

"I think you did a great job in there."

**T: Oh I think I found myself a Cheerleader...**

Ares linked her hands with her and kissed her on her cheek.

He quickly went to his room and changed out of his outfit, into a more trekking one.

They went outside and a car was waiting for them.

An hour later they arrived at a bridge and Veera looked around seeing a group of crowd doing nothing but Bundgy jumping of it. Veera was not scared of heights.

But as she heard the screams of the tourists jumping off, her fear kicked in.

"Ares?"

"Yes, babe?"

"I see no horses? Are you sure we're at the right place?"

"Yes, we are, now c'mon we're doing this."

"What? Oh no!! No!! Ares, you said horse riding, this is not horse riding!"

**T: Horses unfortunatly fear us, so there will be no horse riding today, however, you're most welcome to to ride my *pony***

Troy wagged his tail, just imagining her, making Ares rather tempted to change his plans.

**A: Knock it off Ginuwine!"

He quickly controlled his sexual tension around her.

"You're not scared are you?"

"Ha! No." She lied trying to sound brave.

Ares was not going to let her escape. He wanted her to face her fears. She was progressing with her swimming quite well and he made many adventurous plans for her.

"Then this shouldn't be a problem?"

"Ares, why don't I watch you do it?" Veera asked hoping he would change his mind.

"Ofcourse I'll do it, but I believe in 'Ladies first.'" He winked knowing all too well that she was going to runnaway from him, but before she got the chance to do so, Veera picked her up over his shoulder and she yelped, hitting his back.

After setting her down, Veera glared at him and shoved him away.

"I hate you for this!"

Ares put her hands up in a T and made close her legs together. He put on the weight gear securely wit the belt going around her waist.

"You won't after this."

"Wait! Wait, Ares!!" She panicked and Ares put a helmet on her.

The fall from the bridge, practically screamed death, and Veera got nervous looking at the wild rough, currents below in the river.

"Oh my god, I'm going to die! What if the rope snaps?!" She asked making Ares roll his eyes at her. He had done bungy jumping since the age of thirteen and he too had the same fears as her. But that all died down once he jumped.

**T: No it won't.**

He rubbed her shoulders for her to relax. Veera's eyes watered and she hugged him feeling really frightened. Veera loved adventure, but she was adventurous in eating food and cycling and possibly rock climbing. No scratch that. She sucked at rock climbing. She never thought she would be doing this out of the blue.

"Ares, I didn't want to say this, because I wanted to seem cool infront of you. Well news flash. I'm not. I'm a whimp!" She hugged him and whimpered. Ares consoled her, and gave her time to calm down. He loved how honest she was with him.

Ares shook his head at her. Veera was not a whimp. She had bravery in her, especially when they met for the first time. No human in their right mind, would approach a Were in his full form, yet she did. She also made a brave move to save her aunt when she came running looking for her. She was his defensive little bird, and he knew, that sooner or later, he would have to train her to become stronger if he was possible half way around the world, for his business trips.

"Hey look at me, you can do this."

"Why are you making me do this?!" She growled at in fury and panic at the same time.

"I'll tell you once you jumped."

"But I don..MMM!"

Ares kissed her passionatly and Veera hated the fact that he was interuppting her crucial moment like this. She kissed him back and her knees suddenly felt weak. Ares knew he had hit her nervous spot and slowly broke the kiss.

He hated pushing her away.

But today.

He grinned back at her and did so. Veera gasped realising what he did, and cursed under her breath as he flashed his eyes blue at her. She saw Troy for a second, and then he returned back to his dark coal eyes.

"Ares NOOO!!! AHHHHH!!!!!" Veera let out a loud yell, as she was pushed backwards.
