102. What brings you here?
Karina.
She was on a mission to find Mia and Sara.
Those girls were in trouble, and only Mr Molson (the lousy teacher that Leo put in jail) knew where they were.
Visiting her teacher in jail was absolutely useless. That a$$wipe gave no indication to where her power puff buddies where and that scrawny ‘mole’ told her to k!ss his a$$. Urgh what a douchebag.
“Hi Karina?” Came a dark husky voice. A shiver easily went down her spine.
Karina was shocked to see Mateo waiting for her outside of her school. It had been over two weeks since she last saw him.
One of her class friends nudged her, seeing Mateo looking so hot and casual wearing his Ray Bans.
“Hey do you know him?” A girl asked.
Karina looked to see that Mateo had already gathered an audience around him. He could easily be mistaken for a model. However Karina knew for a fact he wasn’t. Seeing him here out of the blue, mildly disturbed her. She wanted nothing to do with him or his pack.
She was thankful that they had let her go, however she felt guilty for betraying Leo. Her first crush who’d she couldn’t stop thinking about. Was he even alive? Karina looked back at Mateo nervously, in her school uniform, that consisted of a white tee, a red string bow tie and navy blue skirt that came halfway across her knees.
More importantly.
That impulsive question burned in her head.
What was he doing here?!
She had nothing to do with them anymore.
So why was he here?
“No?” She replied making Mateo crack a wild grin at her.
Clearly his presence troubled her. Mateo ignored the stares he was receiving from a high number of young horny teenagers around him. The only teenager he was really interested was his feisty little lamb.
No? He tilted his head darkly with hidden amusement.
Wrong answer baby girl.
Mateo caught her hand and pulled her close making Karina let out a nervous gasp.
“No?” He whispered at her in her ear making her nervous heart beat out.
“Heyy…Mateo?” She nervously said keeping her tone as neutral as she possibly could.
Gossips and whispers flied with the flock of girls easily looking at them like they were some kind of secret lovers.
But that wasn’t the case at all.
“What brings you here?” She asked taking back her wrist and taking a step back from him.
Mateo loved getting her flustered around him.
“You.”
Her cheeks easily blushed when he grinned down at her and then picked her up over her shoulder, making her shriek out. Mateo casually kidnapped her in broad daylight with crazy sounds of sudden screaming confused fan girls.

Meanwhile.
Back in Sicily.
Gloria and Sienna had taken Veera out to find her wedding outfit.
Ares and Troy had made up with her ever since Leo escaped them.
Veera relaxed knowing that Karina would be well taken care of now that another wolf was guarding her.
She looked at herself in the mirror.
She’d always dreamed of this day, and she couldn’t believe in a few weeks’ time she was going to be getting married, to the love of her life. Ares had already shown her wedding gift that brought tears to her eyes. She was soon going to open her own studio where she could take pictures of couples, family and cute babies. But most of all, she’d be able to hire her own team and take photos and videos for wedding occasions. Veera was so excited, Ares wanted her to be happy and support her just as much as she supported him.
The dressing curtains drew and Veera turned around in her white wedding dress.
“Well?”
Gloria and Sienna held hands, admiring her beautiful dress, that hugged her. It was made from silk and had wonderful bead work of pearls.
“You look so pretty!”
“Beautiful and stunning, Ares will be blown away.”
Veera chuckled as the she-wolves came towards her and hugged her. They had already sorted out their bridesmaid dresses and Cora was soon to join them too. However one person was a miss.
Her other best friend, and room mate.
Emerald.
“What’s wrong, V?” asked Sienna.
“No, it’s just that I’ve been trying to get hold of Emerald but she’s hasn’t been responding to my calls or text messages, and Aunt Rita isn’t replying to me either.”
Sienna and Gloria looked at one another feeling sad. Family and friends were important.
“Don’t worry we’ll get your friend, not sure about your Aunt though?”
“Please don’t kidnap her, she has no idea whom I’m marrying.”
Gloria and Sienna chuckled.
“Of course, we won’t, who do you think we are V?”
“The Were-mafia.” She bluntly said.
“Well, she got us there.” Sienna agreed, as Veera shut her curtains, rolling her eyes.
Yes, she was part of the Were-mafia. But she’d make sure that after marriage, Ares changed his killer ways. He knew quite well, that she disapproved of him killing others and he would no doubt change his cruel brutal ways for her.

.
After a couple of weeks.
Veera started getting worried.
Sienna and Gloria had gone over to her home town in search for her best friend but it appeared she had gone missing for quite some time. Veera had contacted Emerald’s family to find out of she was there, but she wasn’t there either.
She sat up from her bed.
Ares opened his sleepy eyes and sat up in the bed with her.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” She smiled stroking his cheek.
Ares caressed her hand and gave it a sweet kiss.
“Veera, you’ve been tossing and turning in your sleep a lot tonight. Are you having second thoughts about us?”
T: Cold feet?
Veera felt hurt and hugged him.
“No! Not at all.”
Ares held her in his arms and returned her hug. He pulled away relieved that it wasn’t the case.
“What is it?”
Veera sighed and pulled out her phone from the side drawer. She showed Ares the image of her Emerald.
“This is Emerald.”
