83. Mateo's feisty little lamb Pt. 2

Karina headed down the stairs and saw this place was some kind of huge Villa.

She kept out of sight of the maids passing by. She couldn’t escape with no form of weapon on her. Karina found her way to the kitchen and luckily no one was in there. She saw the knife shack on the counter and she was just about to grab it, but that plan back fired when she heard a couple of old maids heading down the hall.

She quickly spotted a frying pan, and grabbed it from a nearby island table. The knife would have been better, but this iron pan would have to do for now. Satisfied with what she had, Karina headed back towards the open garden, and bolted towards the woodlands.

She wasn’t look forwards when she suddenly crashed into a sudden wall.
A man without no shirt on turned around.
He took notice of the pan in her hand and returned his attention back at her.

"You lost baby girl?"
The man had an accent and Karina shook her head. She tried to get by him casually, but he blocked her path.
Karina went on warrior mode and started swinging her pan at the man, who looked at her quite amused and surprised. He held his hands up and gave her space to calm down.

Unfortunately, her adrenaline rush was too high.
He chuckled at her, making Karina glare at him.

"What's your name, little lamb?"
She backed away only to bump into another man. The man grabbed her pan from behind her making her completely defenceless. Sh!t! What was she going to do now?!
Karina gasped controlling her heart beats as she saw his yellow glowing eyes.

Weres.

"Non dovresti essere qui fuori."
The second guy went to grab her and Karina shoved him away, when she couldn't understand him.

"I... I don't want any trouble." She said controlling her fear level around them.
"Then go back inside the villa girl." The first guy said.

After seeing Kian bang that big breasted girl like that, she shook her head.
"I'm not going back there!" The pan was out of the question; however, she was still in luck when her eyes darted towards the ground.
She picked up a nearby log looking at the two men, who simply chuckled at her.

**M: Let her run. **
**E: Are you crazy? Kian will kill us Mateo. **
**M: Relax Enzo, Kian knew already that she was going to do this. **

"Ok, go ahead, you can run."

Karina was shocked. They were letting her run away?

Something was obviously going on. Whatever it was she definitely didn't want to go back to the Villa.
She quickly went to run but Mateo suddenly pulled her elbow and scented her deeply by her neck. Karina looked up at him knowing exactly what he was doing. He was sniffing her out like a dog.

He growled looking at her rather curiously as her heart thumped out of fear in his hold.

"You smell good." He whispered dangerously close at her ear and flashed his eyes green at her, instantly scaring her to her core.
Karina simply controlled the wild beating of her heart, and smacked at Mateo's head, with her log.

“Get away from me dog!”
He groaned out in pain as he let go of her. A dog was a great insult to them and Mateo grinned at her pulling her elbow and stopping her attack swiftly with his hand.

“What did you just call me?”

M: This feisty little lamb.

“Don't touch me!" She snapped angrily holding her log like a weapon. Mateo let go of her letting her keep her thick log.

Enzo chuckled and Mateo cracked a grin at her, oh yes he was going to have great fun baby sitting her for a while.

"Better start running, before we alert the boss."

Fearing Kian, the most, Karina didn't think twice and ran away from them.
Soon after Jack came by looking for her. He saw her running off into the distance.

"Why the hell is she running? Didn't you guys stop her?"
"We tried, but the girl hit me." Mateo went down on all fours.
"Stop! Don't."

It was too late, Mateo grinned and phased into his wolf chasing after her.
"Enzo?! Why are you standing for c'mon let’s go!" Jack said getting down on his fours, but Enzo stopped him
"Mateo knows what his doing." Enzo said and Jack sighed. Sure, he could turn into a wolf, however, he was not as fast as the betas. Yet.

Karina ran and ran. She knew she was no doubt going to be hunted.
That look in that guy's eyes was crazy. As if he wanted to eat her. She had to get out of the woods fast, and find the road and do her best to hitch hike.

Suddenly she came to a staggering halt when she came across a rather large wolf who was eating the flesh out of dead deer.
Picking up on her scent, the wolf turned towards Karina.

The wolf was a guard; however, it was dead hungry. Karina was the perfect prey.
It licked its bloody k-9 teeth and snarled at her.
Sweat escaped from her head and hands. She gripped the log she was holding on with dear life.

She was dead.
But she didn't let her fear get to her.
Her sudden inner warrior kicked in and Karina faced the wolf with a sudden fury.

"I bet I look tasty huh?"
The wolf gave her a toothy grin.

"Well, I won't let me eat me! So let's dance b!tch!" She charged, with fear and anger, yelling towards the wolf with a charge.
The wolf was surprised by her courage to face it and charged at her hungrily.
With a mean growl, Karina stopped in her tracks as fear completely took over her and she came back to her senses to retreat back. But it was too late.

She shrieked on the top of her lungs when it lunged at her, probably for calling it a b!tch.
This was not how she imagined she would die. Especially not out in the middle of the woods.

Suddenly a black wolf with green glowing eyes defended her and bit hard at the hungry wolf.

**T: Mateo, what the hell?**
**M: She's not the meal of the day, Trevor! So back off, the little lamb. Is mine! **
Trevor backed away not knowing why Mateo was protecting an intruder, but he didn't care since he caught sight of another deer.

Karina shakily stood still watching the black wolf circling around her like she was his sudden prey.
Mateo was quite surprised by the girl’s bravery. He hadn't seen many girls her age charge at a wolf like that.
There was no way she could out run the wolf.

She was trapped and the wolf knew it.
Suddenly the wolf drew closer and Karina's heart hammered in her chest. It’s glowing eyes looked at her dangerously and it’s eyes then darted towards the log she was holding.

Fear made her drop the log as it backed her up against a tree.

**M: Good girl.**
Mateo liked her scent.

It stopped by her feet, and Karina froze when she heard fast bone cracking.
The wolf phased back into its normal human self, in a knelt down position.

The man rose up naked, scenting her from her body up. Karina’s heart wildly beat as she controlled her large lump in her throat. The man came into her view and he now rested his hand on top of her head, supporting his body weight, of the trunk of the wide tree.
Karina gasped recognising him earlier.

"You?"
"Happy to see me?" Mateo grinned his pearly teeth at her.
Karina's teeth clenched as he kissed her braided pony tail from the bottom.
She went to shove him away, but Mateo was well aware of her feisty nature and caught her wrist.

"Feisty little lamb, aren't you?"
"Let, go of me." Karina spat at his face. Mateo sighed out calming his annoyed inner wolf.
"You'll just run if I do that. And this time I'll let my friend eat you." She gasped terrified of his sudden threat.

Karina then saw his eyes darting towards her parted lips, but she slapped him across his face and did her best to twist her hand out of his hold. She wished Leo was here to save her, but she didn’t exactly know where here was?!
Mateo had never been slapped by a girl. He was much loved by the she-wolves that danced for him. However, this little feisty cutey wasn't a she-wolf.
He grabbed her jaw as anger took over him. He growled at her deeply clearly telling her to ‘behave’. Karina heart hammered in her chest as she tried her best to pull his hand away from her jaw. Mateo wouldn’t allow it. He turned her face to the side, whispering at her.

"My turn."
He slid his cheek against hers, and licked the side of her face making her scream in fear.
Mateo controlled his inner wolf before he got too wild around her.

"No! No! Stop!" Karina shoved him away and Mateo moved away, letting go of her as he calmed down.
However, she was running towards the wrong direction.
He caught her again, and pulled her by the waist, back hugging her easily. Karina froze freaking out by the way he held her when he was naked.

"This was just a lick from me sweetheart. Next time you run; I'll do more than lick you." He warned and scented her by her neck warningly, making her completely freeze.
Tears rolled down her cheek as Mateo, grinned at her. He looked at her like she was his sudden new toy to play with.
Just to scare her even more, Mateo pulled out his canines and grazed them towards her neck, making Karina’s lower lip quiver in fear and finally she whimpered in his hold.
“I’m sorry!” She stressed out.
“Please!! Ll..let me go! LET ME GO! I want to go home!” She cried out feeling hurt and broken.
Mateo retracted his canines and grinned scenting her by her neck and back hugged her as she cried. He wanted to offer her comfort as he knew the feeling of being taken once many ago when he only six.
Luckily, he was saved by Kian and Nico and became a rather strong Beta thanks to them.

"That's enough Mateo!" A familiar voice called out making Karina turn her head towards the side quickly.

**J: Mateo, she's too young! **
**M: I know. I'm just messing with her. **

Jack relaxed, the young werewolf boy almost had him.

"Jack!" She cried, confused yet relieved to see him.
Mateo gave a small peck on the cheek to Karina, making her gasp out. He let go of her, and Karina looked back at him creeping her out and ran towards Jack suddenly missing home.
