50. Invitation

Two weeks later...

Troy and Ares made their plans of their own.

They needed to lure her out from her town since it was her safe zone from them.

Ares had difficulty entering her town since he was on the Mayor's most wanted list and he had his pack security armed with Dark Leaf.

Troy was getting relentless and frustrated and was attacking his enemies ruthlessly. Both of them were experiencing bad headaches to caused by the bite made by Veera.

Without his mate to keep him at bay, he was loosing his cool with everyone.

Franko, Siena, Gloria and Nico came together for a private meeting.

"We need to get those two back immediately." Franko said worried about Ares.

"How, we can't even get passed the town patrol?" Siena said with a heavy sigh.

"So what? We don't need to get her. She can come to us?" Gloria said cooking up a plan.

Nico kissed the back of her hand.

"What's your plan baby?"

Gloria took out her phone and instantly skyped with her, leaving the anxious betas in suspense.

It was in the mid afternoon and Veera was at The Grotto (the name of Emerald's company.)

She was now working part time there and also managing her other main job as a wedding photographer too.

After suddenly receiving a phone call on her phone, Veera was surprised to see who it was.

She excused herself from her little office area.

Going on the rooftop with some fresh air, Veera answered her the video call.

*"Veera!"* Emerald exclaimed happy to see her.

"Hey, Gloria, how are you?"

*"We're missing you so much here!"* Gloria chimed giving her a sad face. Veera wanted to see her too, and sadly missed not just her but she missed everyone else too. Even the Alpha.

"Aww, I miss you guys too!" Veera said honestly to her friend oversees. She was happy to hear from her.

*"I'm glad you do because now I want you to come out from your boring town and come see us!"* Gloria chimed and the betas smiled at her wonderful plan in the background.

"Yeah..I can't." Veera immdiately replied, fighting every nerve cell on her face to hide her saddness.

Veera wasn't stupid. She knew Gloria was trying to play cupid yet again with the one Alpha she was trying to avoid. After her pleasurable dream she experienced with the 'Masters' two weeks ago, Veera was more than determined to break the crazy bond.

*"Babe, why not?"* Gloria asked trying to figure out how she could lure her out from her little town.

Well, I don't want to run into Ares, Veera thought thinking about him, making her mark suddenly pain her.

*"He misses you very much you know?"* Gloria sighed looking at Veera who was holidng back her tears when she said that.

Veera missed him alot too.

"Oh..well I don't" She replied with a lie making Gloria almost roll her blue eyes at her. Gloria knew she was still playing hard to get so she avoided bringing Ares up again.

*"Hey, did you like my present I gave you?"* She teased with a big grin on her face making Veera nervously laugh.

Veera rolled her eyes and shook her head at her in embarrassment as she remembered what she gave her.

"You crazy girl. I will never trust you to get me gifts!" Veera blushed remembering her take out the neatly wrapped box that had a dildo inside it.

Gloria laughed. She loved teasing her.

*"Did you use it?"* She inquired cheekily.

"Eww you crazy girl!! I'm not telling you!"

Veera did get lonely at one point thinking about Ares and Troy and did try to use it but she didn't get turned on by it at all, so she threw it away the next day in frustration. What was she thinking? This was not like her at all.

Gloria chuckled at her and so did she, in her embarrassment. Veera quickly changed the topic.

"I do want to see you guys, believe me I do, but I can't see Ares. Last time he kidnapped me, bit me and wanted to marry me?" She reminded her instantly making Gloria shake her head and chuckle at her.

*" C'mon. You have to admit. Those were good times!"* Gloria reminisced hoping to be her bridesmaid one day. Veera rolled her eyes at her. Good times?! Veera clearly remebered him drugging her and bringing her to Italy for some more lovely fun. But she couldn't deny that she didn't like it. Even if Ares had kidnapped her. He had been nothing but kind to her all that time. True. He did tease her but never once did he ever go that far to hurt her.

*"Hey how is Cora? Me and Nico miss her alot!"* Gloria asked about her cop friend that Nico captured when she tried to rescue her.

**((Flash back))**

Veera had a girls night with Cora after her return. Cora was so glad that she was safe but she also couldn't help but ask about Gloria and Nico.

"They didn't do anything to you did they??" Cora asked after Leo and Jack left to use the washroom.

"Like what exactly?" Veera questioned a little confused as she hesitated to answer.

Cora was trying to dodge this question but Veera wanted to know what she was trying to hide.

"Just tell me already, what happened between you, Gloria and Nico?" Veera sipped on her club soda and Cora finally decided to tell her.

"We had a threesome."

Veera spluttered her club soda out and looked at Cora containing her shock. But then again, didn't she have a strange threesome with Ares and Troy in her wild dream too?

"You what?!" She focused back on her friend who drank a shot.

"Look, it wasn't me, the crazy guy Nico drugged me and asked me all these questions with the Victoria Secrets blondie and then I started seeing both of them as Leo! It was crazy. The heat got crazy in that room, and I started taking of my clothes, and I don't know what sh!t they drugged me with, but I was high and excited and soon I realised what I was doing, and whom I was kissing but I couldn't stop! The worst part of it, was they were actually really nice and gave me some kind of wild pleasure I had never experienced with Leo before. Veera. I actually liked it! Oh my god. I'm the worst grilfriend ever. I'm so bad. I'm going to hell aren't I?"

Cora started crying and Veera quickly consoled her. Veera shook her shoulders and Cora sniffed controlling her waterworks.

"Cora you're not going to jail. You were drugged and they shouldn't have taken advantage of you like that." Veera sighed remebering Nico and Gloria who were no doubt trying to get information about them all.

"No, but they didn't! I just..." Cora couldn't stop thinking about the wild couple Nico and Gloria and sadly and secretly missed them.

"Never mind V, lets have another shot and forget about them ok?"

Veera sipped on her club soda.

"Yeah, she's well and remembers you two quite well." Veera said keeping it a secret that Cora also missed them too.

Nico chuckled in the background, and Gloria discreetly nudged him.

*"Oh good, we hope she can join when you visit us?"* Gloria asked with a hopeful girn and Veera sighed. There was no way she was allowing her good friend get caught up with them again all too soon.

"I'm not coming Gloria, sorry. What if Ares plans to kidnap me again?" She said worriedly. Although secretly, Veera wouldn't mind being taken again. She shook her crazy thoughts of him and stayed focused.

The betas looked troubled and then Nico mind linked her quickly.

**N: Gina**

Gloria chuckled to that, knowing all too well where he wanted the conversation to go.

*"But you don't have to worry about him, Gina and him have gotten back together."* Gloria lied like a pro and Nico winked at her.

Gina. Who could forget about the jealous ex?

"They have?" Veera's heart cried inside, but she remained calm and poised looking at Gloria who immediately caught on to her hurt.

Gloria smirked discreetly letting her know even more.

*"Yes! You see after you left, Gina quickly made her move on him."*

This was of course a lie. Gina had tried so many times to entice and seduce the Alpha in bed and wore very very provocative outfits around him, but quite frankly Ares nor Troy were interested in her that way. Feeling hurt and rejected, Gina still give up the hope to quit her love for him. She was a gold digger that wanted to get married to Ares and get half of his shares.

"Oh..so his moved on?" Feeling like she was suddenly been stabbed with knives in her back thanks to Gina, Veera controlled the lump in her throat.

She suddenly had a wild urge to have a cat fight with her.

But who was she kidding?

Ares didn't belong to her. Anymore.

*"Completely so you can relax. Besides, it's not like I'm asking you to come back to Italy to see us."*

"You're not?"

*"No, the reason why I called you is because my friend's photographer suddenly fell ill, and she was desperately trying to find a good photographer so I thought, why not you?"* Gloria asked looking at her with the hopes she would say yes.

"Where is you're friend's wedding?" Veera got curious.

"Bali!"

Veera discussed more about her friends wedding with her and thought about Ares too. But now was not the time to think about the Alpha or Troy for that matter. Gloria was inviting her to do a job. A job that she was really good at, and earning money was priority for her since she was going to be moving out of Emralds apartment soon.

Still. Veera was caught up in the thought of seeing Ares again. Temptation was pulling her once again. She no doubt wanted to see him. But she did not want to see him with *her*

F^ck It.

If he could move on! Veera was no doubt determined to show him that she could too.

"I'll be there!"

Gloria ended the call, and Nico high fived her giving her a peck on her lips.

"Gloria, whose getting married in Bali?" Franko asked checking his FB for any recent announcements on his side. Siena did that too and shook her head.

"Yeah...I lied. No one is getting married." Gloria stated and then looked at them worriedly. She did not think this threw at all.

"Well, then we better get some actors that will." Nico said immediately making the arrangement, Siena and Gloria agreed and went out with Nico quickly while Franko made a phone call to his very troubled some moody Alpha brother.

Ares was in the middle of beating up a rogue who was caught stealing some very important documents from his office.

His headache hadn't calmed down and the rogue was being slammed across the wall heavily. Troy had no doubt taken over his control.

He was about to pull out his claws and finnish off them enemy from a diffrent pack but came to a halt when his phone rang.

Growling in a moody anger, Ares answered his brothers call, whilst looking at the bloody wolf who was p!ssing in his pants watching his wrath on hold.

"What is it Franko?"

*"Brother, I have good news about Veera."*

As Franko explained everything. Troy calmed down and closed his eyes as a smile plastered his face. As he opened his eyes, his eyes had gone back to his dark ones and looked rather merciful at the rogue.

"That's good to know." Ares ended the call and opened the door looking back at the rogue with a cold poker face.

"Get out."

"What?" The rogue squeeked out. He was confused because he did a foolish thing and got caught by an Alpha and was currently awaiting his death. But the rogue was confused. The Alpha looked in a rather good mood. Even after he attempted to steal the property deeds to his hotel. He was was asking him to go?

"I said get out, before I change my mind and end you." Ares said darkly to which the rogue quickly got up shakily and ran away from him.

Ares closed the door and relaxed putting the stolen documents back in his safe behind a picture.

His headache momentarily calmed down and it was due to the good news that Franko gave him.

Ares chuckled making Troy happy to hear, she was coming to Bali soon.

**T: Veera is coming! Ares lets book the top suite and.."
**A: Stop you're wild thoughts! As much as we want her, we must find out how much our little tesero wants us.**
**T: How do we do that?**

A wild idea struck his head and Ares chuckled deeply like a villain in a story.
