54. Jealous ex? pt 2

"Well isn't this a nice reunion everyone?"

Gloria asked sitting around the table with Nico, Franko, Sienna, Ares, Gina, Jack, Leo, Cora and Veera.

Jack and Leo had been ambushed by Franko's men and had taken their two other soldiers as captives obviosuly threatning them to show up to this dinner, because if they didn't well their two soldiers would end up as dead meat. Leo , on the other hand was in deep trouble with Cora who was fuming from the inside ever since she found out that her boyfriend still came after clearly telling him not to come.

Veera on the other couldn't help but stare at Ares who was looking back at her with a rather cold look. Troy was getting mad with him by the second since he wanted to nothing more and take Veera somewhere private to really have their own *reunion* of their own.

Gina caught her staring at Ares and she hated the fact that Gloria had hired as her friend's wedding photographer. Out all the top proffessionals she could have chosen, Gloria had to be so clever and request Veera to take their lovely snap.

If she was here to plan to get her Alpha back, she was dead wrong!

Veera looked away from his cold gaze and decided to focus her attention on Mai and Kian who were looking lovely this evening. Mai wore a lovely silk blue dress whilst Kain kept it simple with his formal white tee and black pants.

After getting a long lecture from Cora about avoiding Ares and ignoring him too, Veera was finding this extreamly difficult. Even tonight he looked dashing in his attire and, she was feeling like a magnet towards him. Espescially when her mark was still causing her a burning sensation.

*we are the only ones that can make your pain go away*

Veera suddenly remebered her hot illustrious dream with them, but she shook away her thoughts.

It wasn't real Veera. It was just a dream. She reminded herself.

Infact that was the last dream she ever had of *them*

Veera smiled at Kian and Mai and took a selfie with them too. Cora got up from the table and dragged Leo too. Veera wanted to calm Cora down, knowing that Leo had only come because he was just worried about them, but suddenly an unexpected voice called out to her.

"Oh Veera, can you be a darling and take a picture of me and Ares?" Gina asked as she sat on Ares's lap whilst he took a sip out of his wine glass.

Veera clucthed her camera tightly and approached them avoiding Ares's gaze on her like a bullet.

"Sure, I don't mind at all. You two make a lovely couple."

**T: Excuse you?!**
**A: Calm down Troy, it's her jelousy talking.**

"Thanks Veera! You hear that honey? We make a lovely couple?" Gina cooed pecking his lips.

*CLICK!*

Veera walked away busying herself trying hard not to be bothered by their presence.

Jack on the other hand saw this and got up from the table.

"Veera, is everything ok?"

"Everything is fine Jack." Veera suddenly got a wild idea and put her hands around his neck pulling him close.

"Why wouldn't it be?"

**T: ARES!**
**A: TROY!**
**T: WHO THE F^CK IS THAT GUY?**
**A: I DON'T KNOW, BUT WE ARE NOT ABOUT TO LOOSE IT DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!*

Gloria and Nico saw the tension in Ares's eyes and he abrubtly stood up from his chair, dropping Gina on the floor.

"Ouch Ares?!" Gina said feeling shocked at embarrassed that he just dropped her like a careless doll from his lap.

Veera pulled away from Jack and looked back, and as soon as she did, Ares gave his hand to Gina. She took his hand and helped her up.

"I'm sorry babe, are you ok?" Ares asked loving pulling Gina close and stroking her cheek making her blush.

Unable to see their closeness, Veera controlled her anger and looked back at Jack, putting her camera away, on her chair.

If he could move on, so could she!

"C'mon Jack, do you feel like dancing?" Veera asked Jack, who was quite surprised by her request.

"Umm..sure?"

"Great!"

Veera grabbed Jack's and lead him to the other hall where the music was playing.

When she got there, she saw that Leo had made up with Cora and was swaying in his hold.

Jack twirled Veera in his hand and Veera laughed, hugging him instantly. Sure Jack wasn't the one for her. But right now, she didn't care. She wanted to forget about Ares and stupid Gina, who was all over him.

"Veera, you look beautitful tonight." Jack started with his compliments and Veera couldn't quite hear him due to the loud sounds of the club music, so Jack pulled his head closer towards her and made it simple.

"You. Look. Great!" He winked and put his hands on her hips. She swayed to the beat keeping her hands on his shoulders.

"Thanks!" Veera replied with a short smile. She suddenly pulled Jack's white tie and hugged Jack as soon as she saw Gina and Ares nearby. Jack chuckled hugging her back and dancing again. Veera never meant to use Jack like this, she hated herse;f for giving him all the wrong signals tonight, but right now, looking at Ares and Gina dancing so closely like that was p!ssing her off.

She wanted to snatch Gina away from him and just grab Ares and kiss him senseless.

"Hey are you ok?" Jack asked snapping her attention back to him.

"I'm. Fine." Veera smiled covering up her lie. She turned around in his arms and leaned into him, and closed her eyes. She took Jack's hands and placed them on her hips and started swaying very sensually on to him. Veera hated doing this, but right now she was pretending she was dancing with Ares. Jack grinned and chuckled enjoying Veera's dance moves on him.

However.

This greatly disturbed Ares, who was itching to grab Jack by the neck and chokehold him this instant. He had his hands on his girl! That a$$hole, how dare he.

Ares couldn't help himself and growl and Gina grabbed his hand pulling him away from their sight.

**G: What are you doing?** Gloria asked taking his face making him look at her.

Even though Ares was dancing with her, he couldn't help but look at Veera who was completing ignoring him.

Veera was determined to get over Ares and started slow dancing on Jack making him suddenly blush. Jack pulled Veera closer, and put his hands on her lower waist. Veera turned around and grinded into him more and Ares was getting very, very, very annoyed with Veera's very turned on friend. Who was not only dancing with the love of his life, but that a$$hole was making her laugh!

Suddenly, Ares stared at her mark hard and Veera winced out in pain, backing away from Jack.

"Veera? Are you ok?"

"UmmHmm.." She smiled ignoring the pain on her shoulder.

Franko and Nico quickly caught on to the tension.

**A: Get him out of here, before I kill him!**

Gloria and Sienna easily distracted Jack and he made an excuse to Veera that he'd be back.

Nico and Franko on the other hand decided to dance with Veera and Ares sent Gina to his room. Gina was reluntant to go, but seeing him glow his eyes dangerously at her, Gina quickly obeyed.

Veera was enjoying dancing with Nico and Franko when suddenly both of them pushed her backwards.

Veera gasped when two strong arms caught her from behind. Sudden exciting chills went down her spine when she realised who it was without turning around. Immdiately her pain on her shoulder cooled down.

"Hello Veera." He spoke next to her ear making her blush.

Veera turned around in his arms and pushed him away angrily.

He was close. Way too close, and Veera's heart was flipping out with joy and sadness at the same time. Somthing strange was happening to her body, and Ares could feel it to. He hid a smirk seeing her troubled

She was on the verge of getting horny.

Ignoring this sudden feeling in her body she looked up at Ares and smiled at him, controlling her waterworks and happiness all at the same time.

Instead she pushed Ares away and shook her head at him.

"Excuse me Mr Cascata." She walked away immdiately getting away from him as best as she could.

**T: Are you just going to let her walk away?! Go after her you fool!**
**A: That's not how we're going to win with her Troy.**
**T: Then how?!**

Veera went to the little ladies room and splashed herself with water.

"Get it together V. You're stronger than this! You can't let him get to you!" She spoke to herself in the mirror and wiped her face off with a hand towel.

Veera re adjusted her make up one more time and then Sienna came in to the bathroom.

"Honey, are you ok?" Sienna asked sensing the hurt she refused to show to anyone.

"I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?" Veera smiled and grabbed Sienna's hand, distracting her from asking more personal questions.

This time when she went out on the dance floor, she saw no sign of her friends or Jack for that matter.

Sienna did her best to dance with her for a while, but Veera was getting worried.

"Have you seen my friends?"

"Yeah, I saw Cora and Leo leave with Gloria and Nico."

"Oh no." Veera said worriedly thinking about the two trouble makers. What were they doing to Cora and Leo now?! They better not be drugging them up and getting them into some weird sh!t.

"Veera, will you relax, you can trust them, they won't do anything to them." Sienna rest assured.

"Look they want to start fresh with them and they want us all to get along. They also took them to appologise about last time, since well they were enemies in the past, but not anymore."

Veera sighed and nodded her head. True, Nico did mention that they wanted to be friends, I suppose she could relax thinking that they were in good hands. But the question now remained.

"Where's Jack?"

"I'm not sure where he is?"

Wait. Jack was missing, and so was Ares.

It couldn't be?! Was Ares also privately beating up Jack somewhere?!

"Sienna, I need you to tell me where Ares is?"

"Sure, his in room 801 with Gina."

Gina?

Veera's heart broke hearing this and although she wanted to desprately wanted to break down and cry her heart out on Sienna's shoulder, Veera held in her waterworks. Mai and Kian were about happily dancing away and Veera was not about to spoil there beautiful party night before they got married the next day with her stupid heart break.

"Oh, ok. Well, It's been a long night Sienna, I'm going to head back." And cry myself to sleep or in the shower, one of the two, Veera thought quickly.

Sienna hugged Veera kissing her goodnight and Veera walked away from the dance floor.

She walked by the pool and made her way back to her hotel building.

She thought her sad night was over.

But as the lift doors opened up, Veera was surprised to see Ares standing inside the elevator looking at her very, very coldly.

"Well, are you getting in or not?"

Turn around Veera!!

Walk away, walk away!!

Don't go in!!

Veera's heart skipped a beat and her foot stepped inside unconciously.

Mind: Damn it!
Heart: Shutup!
Gut: I feel weird.

She stepped away from Ares and pressed her floor. Her butterflies were acting up and Veera

**T: Stop this elevator and grab her!**
**A: No!"

The silence was killing Veera and her floor was getting closer. She didn't want to leave Ares right not. Not when she was alone with him. Her mind was thinking about crazy scenarios with him right now. She wanted to be taken by Ares in the most wildest of ways. What the hell was wrong with her tonight? Most importantly, her mark was still in pain.

Veera sighed and pushed on the 'STOP' emergency button on the lift.

Ares was quite surprised she did that and looked down at her curiously. He noted that she was avoiding his gaze.

"We need to talk."

**T: Yeah we do!**

"About what Veera?"

Instead of asking about Jack first, Veera first and foremost inquired about what was seriously bothering her, about him tonight.

"So you and Gina?"

"What about me and Gina?" Ares asked looking down at her coldly, hiding his playful smirk.

"Make a wonderful couple." Veera added controlling her waterworks with him, and quickly looked away. Ares had a question of his own that bothered him greatly.

"You mentioned that tonight. What about your boyfriend?"

"His not my boyfriend!" Veera snapped and made Ares raise a brow at her.

Shoot! She was supposed to lie and say that he was!!! Damn it Veera, why are you so dumb around him tonight.

"Really? By the way you were dancing with him made me think that you were?"

"Ha! Well, for your information I dance like that with so many of my male friends." Veera boasted. She had zero male friends apart from Leo and Jack.

**T: I'll break their necks if they do Veera**

Ares chuckled at her statement.

"What's so funny?"

"Well Veera, I'm your male friend too, I was sad that you didn't grind you're fina a$$ on me tonight Veera?" Ares said looking down at her very, very seductively making her blush. Why the hell would he say that?! Didn't he have Gina to grind on him tonight and in his bed? The thought made her truly unhappy.

"Lets get one thing clear. You're not my friend Ares." She stated coldly.

**T: Good, never wanted the friendzone anyway**

"Then what exactly am I to you Veera?" Ares questioned her sharply doing everything in his power not to touch her.

What was Ares to him? Veera wished she could say boyfriend and lover to him and possibly a good friend, but she snapped out of her lust filled thoughts with him.

"Where's Jack?" She dogded his question.

**T: *Growls**
**A: Calm Down.**

"What about him?"

"I know you have him, don't you?!"

"I don't have your sleezy douchebag boyfriend Veera." Ares went to push the 'START' button but Veera pushed him back heavily, backing him up to the wall.

"Bullsh!t!" She fired angrily.

"Where is he?!" Veera fired ignoring his flashing blue eyes.

Troy was getting quite turned on by her closeness and Ares was holding him back as if he had a leash on him.

"Now. Why would I tell you?" He growled so lowly, sending wild shivers down her spine.

Veera could no longer take her personal heat with him and suddenly grabbed his collar and kissed him.

But Veera had lost her control and kissed him with a great passion. Veera missed him so much, that her tears escaped. Every part of her body was getting fired up with a great excitement and Veera tasted Ares deeply with her tongue as if she was thirsty for him. He growled lowly at her and Veera snapped her eyes open, seeing his eyes that had flashed pink.

She slowly and pulled away, catching her breath.

What the hell!!! How the hell could you kiss him?! His with Gina!!

"I'm..I'm sorry." She was about to back away from him and start the START button, but Ares crashed his lips with her holding her close.

"About what exactly?" He asked inbetween his firey kisses with her. His kiss with her intensified and Veera let out a gaspy moan when he kissed her mark, sending pleasurable vibes down her core.

"I, can't do this! We can't do this!" Veera looked up at him, feeling very very horny, and at the same time trouble with him. She was still holding back and Ares was ready to break down her walls.

"Veera, stop fighting me." Ares hugged her warmly and Veera sniffed hugging him back in silence, unable to control her horrmonal self with him. Her chest felt hard and her cave was slowly getting a rainy spell deep inside of her.

"Do you have any idea, how much I've missed you?"

"I...I missed you too." Veera held him closer, not wanting to move out of his safe comfortable hold.

But Ares couldn't help himself and wiped her tears away. He smiled down at her and them smirked at her deviously.

Veera gulped pushing away from him and backing herself to another side of a wall. She shook her head as he wildly looked at her with pink flashing eyes.

"Ares?" She whispered worriedly as he looked at her with his bedroom eyes.

"You've been away from me a long time *tesoro* and now, you must be punished." He pulled out his claw and trapped her against the wall, with her heart pounding away in a sudden excitement.
