88. Moon of life pt 1
"Ares?"
Veera stared at her lover who suddenly bent the knee Infront of her.
He reached inside his coat pocket and brought out a small red velvet box.
Veera put her hands on her mouth, from the sudden shock and excitement she was feeling.
"Veera, you're the moon of my life..."
Rita's eyes were full of rage.
"How dare you! Don't you dare think about proposing to her you dog!" Rita fired.
**T: Lady, if you weren't related to my sweet beloved, I'd feed you the 'dogs' myself!
**
**A: Focus Troy.**
Veera dropped to her knees and controlled her waterworks. She held his hands and Ares smiled lovingly at her.
However, not all in the grand hallway were feeling the romantic vibes.
"Are you crazy?!" Rita fired angrily at her niece
"Don't listen to her, continue." Veera squeezed Ares’s hands for support.
"I know we haven't known each other for that long, but these past three months have been incredible. Trust me I wanted to propose to you tonight beneath the stars, but since things escalated too quickly, I had no choice. Rita, I really love your niece."
Veera’s eyes watered when he presented her the ring.
“Veera Chanda, my mate, the love of my life, will you marry me?”
Rita’s eyes fumed and she went to grab her niece however the security personal at the estate, stopped her.
Veera smiled and nodded her head.
“Yes! Yes, of course I’ll marry you!”
T: YES!
Ares smiled back and kissed her hands as he put the ring on her finger. They both hugged and kissed and Ares picked Veera up from the ground, giving her a big bear hug.
A sarcastic clapping sound was heard and the couple looked back at Rita. Veera let out a sigh and held Ares hand in hers once he set her on the ground.
“You’re making a big mistake.”
“No Aunt Rita. I’m not. I love Ares and Troy.”
“Whose Troy?”
“My other half.” Ares answered making Rita look quite puzzled for a second.
“You mean his beast?!”
**T: Excuse you?**
“Yes, I love his wolf. I love everything about this man and his animal.”
**T: Purr.**
**A: Behave.**
“Rita, please I understand that you see me as a bad guy, but I’m not. Please can’t you see that I will do everything in my power to keep her safe?”
Rita sighed.
“The Red Tenshis will come after you both, and when they do, don’t say that I didn’t warn you!” With that being said, Rita stormed out of the estate leaving Veera hurt and speechless.
Ares hugged her and kissed her forehead.
“I won’t let anyone, take you from me.”

Meanwhile, back in Milan.
“Leo, don’t come here.”
Kian sighed from the director’s chair, whilst Jack filmed in the dungeon like room.
“C’mon we’ve been at this for over an hour girl. Karina, I need you to cry.”
Karina yawned out whilst being tied behind the chair. Jack rolled his eyes. His only mission was to save Leo from the drugs and so was Cora’s. Cora had contacted Leo
many times, but he simply refused to take any of her calls.
Jack still hadn’t spilled the beans to Leo that he was officially part of the pack.
