53. Jealous ex? pt 1

"Show me the love."
Mai and Kian posed happily for Veera as she started taking photos of them before they got inside the waterfall lake area. The place was utterly gorgeous and Veera was having fun with Cora who dragged her towards a natural slide area in the forest.

Nico and Gloria had joined them earlier, however they decided to retreat back to the resort to take care of some other matters with Franko and Siena.
Veera continued taking shots of the lovely couple inside of the water now whilst wearing her deep magenta bikini.
Mai was in her white and Cora was in her aqua blue one. Kian was in his dark blue trunks and he couldn't help but *whistle* at Mai but really he was whistling at Cora secretly when she was standing next to her.

But right now Mai and Kian were holding each other lovingly and staring deeply at each other like they were in love beneath the waterfalls.

**M: Quit drenching me!!**
**K: Will you quit being annoying and put your arms around my neck and kiss me!**

Mai kissed Kian on his cheek and swam away from him getting annoyed with his stupid direction.
Kian was not giving up and swam after her, grabbing her by her ankle and threw her in the air back in the water, making her yelp.

Cora laughed at their playfulness.

Mai got her revenge and drowned Kian playfully as best as she could and laughed it off when he resurfaced chasing her for revenged.
Looking at the love birds, Cora suddenly felt sad and sighed heavily.
Veera stopped taking photos and looked at her friend.

"What's wrong?"

"I suddenly miss Leo. I wish he was here play fighting with me in the water too."

Veera didn't have the heart to tell her that Leo had broken their trust and followed them here. She was certain that Nico and Gloria had gone to greet them personally. She had to distract Cora before she started getting quite emotional thinking about him, So Veera splashed Cora with the water on her face and Cora gasped in surprise looking at her.

"Well, tough luck Cora, you'll just have to play fight with me!" She teased and splashed her again making Cora laugh and lunge at her for her revenge. Mai joined into getting bored with Kian and Kian took this opportunity to play fight with Cora who was terribly missing her boyfriend at the moment. Infact, he charged at all the girls and threw them over his shoulders and into the water. Lucking for Veera Kian went easy on her and grabbed her gently by her waist before she towards the deep end of the lake.

Everyone had such a blast but it was time to get serious.

She got Mai and Kian at the right angle and took their shot and then she got a good idea, since they were in the water.

"Oh! Do the Dirty Dancing pose!"

"What's that pose?" Mai asked.

"Oh honey haven't you seen the movie?" Kian asked and Mai shook her head looking at him and fake laughing at him

"Basically, Kian picks you up and whilst you do the superman pose." Veera explained.
Mai still seemed to be confused about the pose and Cora caught on.

"I can show you on Kian if you like?" Cora asked and Kian's inner wolf was wagging his tail in joy.

"Sure." Mai said without a pang of jealousy.

"Are you ready?"

Kian nodded and smiled like an angel towards her.

**K: Oh yeah!**

**M: Stop flexing your pecks she's not into you!"

**K: Quit getting jealous!**

Cora leapt on to Kian and Kian easily picked her up like she was feather weight.

Cora smiled and held her position.

"See, that's the Dirty Dancing pose." Veera clicked and Mai clapped smiling away.

"Oh how wonderful."

Kian slowly, brought Cora down and discreetly scented her by the neck, and couldn't help himself and suddenly growled low, making her gasp of surprise.

When she turned around, Kian simply smiled down at her.

"Well-done."

"Thanks." Cora ignored what she heard and went back to her best friend.

"Babe are you ready to catch me?" Mai said coming closer to him.

**M: Quit starring at her!"**
**K: I'm sorry but she's hotter than you!**

Mai grabbed Kian's face and made her look at him.
"I love you so much babe."

**M: But if you screw this pay job up for me, I'll bite your tail so hard!**
**K: Chill out Bridezilla.**

Kian, picked her up over his head fast, making her yelp out of surprise.

"I got you babe."

"Oh, good! Mai you're doing great!! Hold that pose for five seconds!!"

A sudden huge splash interrupted them and Cora and Veera yelped out of surprise getting drenched.
When the person emerged from the water, Veera was surprised to see her.

"Babe! the waters great c'mon in!" Gina called out staring at Veera with a confused look, thinking ‘what the hell is she doing here?!’ wearing a rather skimpy purple bikini.

Suddenly Cora and Veera caught a huge shadow by the cliff and he leapt in the air doing a perfect somersault in the air and diving in like a pro.

Veera's heart skipped a beat as the manly figured immerged from the water looking like a god.
The minute he caught her stare, her mark on her skin burned. Veera winced in pain as Gina came over to him, smiling at him, rubbing her hands all over his wet hot body.

"That was such a good jump babe! Can you teach me how you did it?" Gina said ignoring Veera’s presence.

**G: What the hell is she doing here?**

**A: I don’t know Gina, and quite frankly, I really don’t care**

Ares on the other hand had to tear his longing eyes away from seeing Veera and keep his attention on Gina who was trying to get him laid since a week ago.

"Sure."

Gina kissed his cheek and gave him a hug. Ares hugged her back looking down at her lovingly.

Veera immediately disliked her when she was gluing herself on to him like that. She held on to her camera tightly.

She unconsciously took a step towards him and Ares immediately noticed this.

But Cora stepped in her way, looking coldly at Ares.

If she had the guts, she would have gone up to him and given him a tight slap for what he did to her. But seeing Mai and Kian present, Cora controlled her anger and grabbed her best friend’s hand.

"Guys, I think we’ll head back to the resort, but you guys carry on ok?” Cora said making them both looked confused.

**K: Shall we retreat back?**

**M: No not now, we need to look like we’re in love infront of them.**

Mai grabbed Kian’s face and started kissing him. Kian pulled away and smiled at her.

**K: Quit kissing me, it’s annoying fish!**

As the love birds had their inner quarrel amongst themselves. A heart break had officially started around a certain Apsara.

Veera on the other hand couldn’t stop looking at Ares who was ignoring Veera and pulling Gina’s hand near the waterfall.

Veera’s heart cried and her gut just wanted to pull Gina away from his side. More importantly, why the hell was Ares here in the first place, and why was he ignoring her like she didn’t even exist?!

She couldn’t stand this.

“Cora, I just need to talk to...”

"Uh-uh. No way. I don't know what's going on here, but Veera I'm not going to let you get caught up in his little web. You're too good for him! I'm not going to let my friend be taken away by him again! Besides look at him. His got a girlfriend, or is that his mate? Whatever it is, his clearly taken Veera.” Cora said making her see the obvious.

Veera’s eyes suddenly watered and Cora sighed pulling her out of the water. It wasn't her intention to seeing her best freind getting hurt like this, but Cora was determined to make sure Veera stayed the hell away from Ares.

Keep your emotions in check Veera! We are not going to fall for him again! Her heart rebelled.

Mai and Kian suddenly seemed to understand the situation and looked at Ares who discreetly gave them a nod whilst Veera was distracted by her best friend. Gina had no clue to what was happening, or even the fact that she was part of his plan. Kian and Mai retreated back with the girls.

It was a sad thing to do to her, but in order to win his true love, Ares had to bend the rules to his mischievous love game.
Troy wanted to do nothing more than to push Gina away and run towards her and embrace. He could feel the pain on her shoulder and her heart breaking. It was hurting him that he couldn't do anything about it because of Ares.

Endure the pain Veera.
