122. Invasion pt 2

“Valerio! Why aren’t the Air or the Water asparas not taking down the intruders!!”

“Perhaps because they were all invited to see match here and I believe the wolves that invaded our zone have killed majority of them.” Valerio easily explained.

“What about the rest?!” Orlov fired with a growing tension in his gut.

“It seems that they have fled due to the invasion sire.”

“Those fools!”

Rita burst out laughing. She had never seen him so shaken up. She thought he had an impressive army under his belt. Clearly, he’d been bluffing.

“Damn it! If Angelo (the second senior Apsara leader) hadn’t left!” Orlov fired half of the seats around him (except for Rita’s) he still could have had a chance with the battle he thought. Together with Angelo, Orlov was invisible.

Valerio quickly iced the fire nearing Rita’s seat before the flames reached her.

Rita was surprised to Ares had managed to track Veera down. She was so glad that he’d come to her protection and due to this amount of love her cold heart melted for the hate she once held for him.

Ares Cascata. The Alpha and love of Veera’s life. If Rita was infront of him, she would no doubt drop to her knees just like Emerald. Everyone in the Arena could feel his might power radiate all around.

This fireball had no chance.

“What you going to do now oh mighty Orlov?” She sarcastically said earning a glare from the warlord.

Orlov clenched his jaw and then looked at Valerio. Rita was clearly mocking him. He wanted to prove her wrong. Fine, so what if Angelo was gone? Valerio was the next power Apsara in his gang.

“Get in that arena and kill him!” Orlov ordered.

Valerio’s green piercing eyes darted towards the arena. The wolves were about and clearly they were out numbered with more wolves descending upon the island.

“Sire Orlov, I think we should…”

Orlov fumed his eyes with green flames shutting any kind of suggestion Valerio had.

“Are you going to let a wolf take your bride just like that?”

Valerio looked back down towards Veera. A part of him adored her, yet another part of him didn’t want anyone, especially a wolf to have her.

“Valerio, don’t do this!” Rita warned, knowing Valerio was a good Apsara. But the evil one over there was forcing him.

“I won’t let him have her.” Valerio said darkly, darting his eyes on Ares.

With a motive to kill, Valerio jumped out of the high wall and landed in the Arena.

Orlov smirked.

“That man is walking on thin ice.”
