71. Sensei Shou from hell!
"Every body has a weakness Veera, for example Achilles with his heel. Superman with his kryptonite..."
"News flash, you guys aren't exactly...weak to anything."
"Not true Veera. We are exceptionally weak when we get attacked by Dark Leaf." Shou said reminding Veera easily of the powerful drug.
"I won't use it to fight the Weres like that."
He chuckled softly and nodded.
"Of course, you won't. Infact you'll have these instead."
Shou revealed an ordinary looking black pair of gloves on the table.
Veera raised a brow at him.
"What are those supposed to be?"
"Those are meant for you once you complete the training."
"Winter gloves?"
Shou shook his head and revealed his own pair to her.
"Don't be fooled by the way they look Veera. These gloves could aid you in combat some day." Shou fisted his fists and razor sharp claw like metals came out.
Veera stood their in amazement.
The gloves strongly looked like it belonged to one of the X-men.
"Wolverine?"
"These claw like gloves are meant for training the younger wolves. They eventually grow out of these gloves once their true claws come into play."
"So we're going to train in that?"
"Not today." He took of his gloves and shut the glove box.
"Why not?"
"First we need to work on your self defence." Shou tripped her up and Veera fell to the ground with a thud.
"Balance is key and so is how quick you move, Rookie Wolf."
"Rookie wolf?" Shou helped her up to her feet.
"That will be your name from now on."
Shou went on to say more things they were going to learn and Veera was amazed. Training was not going to be just in the dojo. So Shou measured her and weighted her as if he was going to be training the next MMA fighter.
"A good fighter must be flexible. So lets get you stretched out first."
"Show me you touch your toes Rookie."
Veera bent over and although he liked the view of her behind, he reminded himself not to get side tracked. He could see she had trouble touching her toes.
He went behind her and pressed on to her lower back.
Veera yelped in pain, as she felt the burn in her thighs and stood up.
"Ouch."
Shou smiled.
"Remember this is just the beginning, you must prepare to be flexible because flexibility is essential when it comes to kicking at the right time."
"What about strength?"
"Well, I was going to give you steroids."
"Shou. No I don't do drugs!" Shou tripped her up yet again for calling him incorrectly in the dojo.
"Sensei."
"Sensei, please no drugs." Veera said getting back up to her feet.
"Rookie don't worry, drugs don't work on you except for Gold dust."
She was reminded quickly when Ares used it to knock her out. Shou had another idea too, infact this idea involved Ares and all he had to do was bite Veera more than once. However, that plan had to wait for now.
"Now as you can see I have laid bricks on side. Your mission should you choose to accept it is to pick up each brick and place it to the other side."
Veera looked at the pile of hundred blue bricks. How hard could that be? Veera turned her Sensei in a questioning manner.
"What happens if I don't accept the mission, Sh...Sensei?" Veera quickly corrected herself before she called him by his true name.
Show chuckled and shook his head.
"Rookie if you don't accept any missions I give you then you will have to face the Master Ares or Troy for that matter."
"Wait I thought Ares said that Troy would come out to 'punish me?' If I broke the rules. He never mentioned anything about the missions?"
"Rookie, c'mon you think Ares would let you off if you chose not to complete the mission?"
Veera's heart skipped a beat and immediately got to work. She didn't want to know how or when Ares would to be out to get her, but for now, she wanted to avoid him at all cost and focus on what was important. The training.
Shou saw Veera laying the bricks neatly from one side to the other. They were quite heavy for her to carry but she was doing well for now. Once she was done, she jogged over to him.
"So what's next?"
"The same mission, only this time I will time you."
"What?"
Shou pulled out his whistle and Veera got to it again.
She worked off a sweat doing this and this time Veera ran out of energy and fell to the ground in exhaustion.
"Get up Rookie!" Shou blew his whistle and Veera groaned out. Veera saw a very different side to Shou. He had lost his cool calm composure with her and had replaced his nature of that of a strict drill sergeant.
"I don't see you moving Rookie, I SAID LETS GO! (blows whistle again)"
Veera was surprised by his shouting at her and unfortunately she slowly completing the mission.
After four hours of doing the same mission, Veera was tired.
"Get your lazy A$$ off the ground now Rookie!" Shou fired and Veera wanted to cry badly, but held her tears in. The training suddenly had quite a physical impact on her body. Shou continued being the commanding officer towards her and was determined to push Veera to her limits.
"Do you feel like quitting Veera?" Shou asked having a glass of cool water in front of her.
Veera was dying of thirst and she reached out to get the glass.
But Shou deliberately splashed her face with cool water, making her gasp out in surprise. His training and shouting was a wake up call to her. She angrily looked at Shou who hid his grin. Good, he was firing her up.
"No coach! No!"
(Whistle blows at her face)
"DO I LOOK LIKE A COACH?!"
You look like a psycho with a split personality disorder, Veera thought.
"NO!"
"WHO AM I VEERA?" Shou shouted riling her up.
"SENSEI SIR!" (Whistle blows in her face.)
For the love of god! Quit blowing that whistle!!!
"YOU GOT THAT RIGHT, BECAUSE I'M GOING TO TAKE YOU PLACES YOU'VE NEVER REACHED SO YOU BETTER KEEP UP!"
The days training ended and Sensei Shou looked back at Veera with a smile.
Veera looked puzzled and stood straight as a soldier with a poker face.
"You did good today Veera. Now clean the Dojo and you can leave."
"Do, do I really have to?"
(Whistle blows)
"YES SENSEI!"
"Remember don't break any rules Veera." Shou left the Dojo and Veera finally collapsed on the floor out of exhaustion.
Shou walked towards the garden and got a phone call from his half Italian cousin.
A: How did she do?
S: She worked up a sweat
Veera had a long way to go with her physical strength.
A: Did she feel like quitting?
S: For a split second, there was a moment where I thought she would
A: So what happened?
S: She's a fighter Ares.
Ares felt proud and nodded in happiness. However a part of him was still scared. She could never go up against Judy. Worst came to worst, he'd have to bribe that B1tch just so she could go down on the first round.
He had assigned Shou as her Sensei to break her courage down. He wanted Veera to give up.
He felt horrible, but the sad truth was Veera could never defeat a Were in her current condition. Not even if she wore those special gloves, the Weres were too powerful and could make her a cripple if they lost their cool with her.
Ares would loose his cool if that ever happened.
A: I can't let her fight, you know that's dangerous for her human body.
Shou on the other hand strongly disagreed on this. It was true, they could never turn Veera into a Were like them, however there was nothing in the book that said they couldn't make her physically strong like them.
S: Correction Ares. She's part human, we can't make her quicker however I have a theory when it comes to her physical side.
A: We're not drugging her.
S: That's not what I meant.
A: What do you mean?
S: Veera can be stronger Ares, all you have to do is bite her again.
Ares chuckled as if he cracked a joke.
The canines had a strong venom in them. Ares had been careful not to release any venom in her the night he first bit her.
A: No, look I've already claimed her and the day I did so she passed out.
S: Hear me out. Grandma told me that in order for Veera to get stronger you have to bite her for more than ten seconds.
Ares recalled biting Veera for the first time for no more than three seconds. If he bit her for more than ten seconds he would no doubt put her life at risk. His venom was powerful, he couldn't take that risk and poison her with it! Was his cousin crazy?!
A: No, absolutely not! That's too dangerous, what if she slips into a coma, or worse!
Troy growled not fond about this idea.
S: Ares think about it this way, If you bite her properly then you not only will you give her strength, you won't have to hold back with her during happy hour. Speaking of which, I can't believe you haven't gone 'down on her' yet? You know, if you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son, If you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son I got ninety-nine problems but a...
Ares cut the call on his insane cousin Shou. This wise ass was loved pulling his leg.
S: Hello? Ares?
Shou sighed and shrugged his shoulders.
Eventually, he hoped his cousin would come around, after revealing this fact.
Thinking of his lady love, Shou grinned to himself and proceeded to take a visit down to a villa nearby...
