57. Trouble in Paradise pt 1

"I can't believe that I almost made the biggest mistake of my life? You know?" Mai carried on her act since Cora and now Veera were present.

"Oh, I feel like such a fool!"

"No Mai. You don't have be embarrassed at all. It's good that those girls stood up and we finally saw what he was really like." Cora said giving her more tissues.


Kian knocked on the door heavily and Veera and Cora sighed shaking their heads.

They knew at one point that Kian wanted to speak with her, but looking at a very hurt Mai, now was not the time.

"Baby! It's all photoshopped I swear!!"

"I have no Idea who the other girl is, and I'm not the father of her child!! Baby!! I'm serious!! I love you." Kian of course had to come back and relay his lines.

Mai cried and was taken away by Gloria and Nico who comforted her.

Cora stood up and opened the door.

Kian was expecting Gloria or Nico at this point but looking at a very cute angry Cora, he didn't mind.

"Leave Mai alone you big creep!" Cora kicked him in the balls and closed the door in his face.

Veera and followed Gloria and Nico out from another interlinking door.

Mai and Kian's role was finally over.

After dealing with Mai and booking her flight home for the next day, Cora and Veera retreated back to their rooms.

Cora started packing her bag and looked and Veera who wasn't packing hers.

"Ok, what's going?"

"What? Nothing at all." Veera walked back and fourth.

"You're a terrible liar. Spit it out V."

Veera sat Cora down on the bed and sighed.

"Listen, I know you'll think I'm crazy...but I've decided not to go back home as yet."

"It's him isn't it?"

"Him who?"

"Ares."

"Yes."

"If his playing with you I swear I'll kick him in his balls."

"His not playing with me."

"What about blondie?!"

"He broke up with her this morning."

"Speaking of which, where were you last night?"

"I was with him."

Ofcourse she was. She was getting it on with him in the elevator.

"Did he pop your cherry?"

Veera blushed at that thought.

"No."

"No?!"

"His not like that! I mean he wants to, but his just being careful with me that's all."

Cora found that hard to believe. Ares behaving himself with her was just unheard of.

"Listen, I'm your friend and I want you to be happy Veera I do. But I need you to realise that Ares Cascata is a dangerous man, and let’s face it. The dude has alot of enemies. I just don't want you getting hurt in his world." She said looking at her mark that had miraculously gone down in size.

"I know. I just, I can't help it. I really, really like him and his asked me to come back with him."

"When?!"

"Tomorrow."

Cora was shocked. That b!tch was doing it again! He was taking her but only this time, Veera was willingly going with him.

"Does Leo know about this?"

"He does, and he wasn't happy Cora."

Cora sighed and cursed lightly. She knew once Veera had made up her mind about something there was no turning back. It also upset her that she wasn't coming back with her tonight. Cora had been through alot in her life, and she'd almost lost her leg on the job. If Veera hadn't healed her she'd be wearing a fake leg. Veera was like a sister she never had. She always put other before herself. Now the big bad wolf was taking her again.

"I hate you for choosing that prick who hurt you here." She said gently pointing at her mark and Cora hugged Veera controlling her lump in her throat.

"But I also love you at the same time you stupid fool, and I want you to be happy." Cora finally admitted. She couldn't deny how happy she looked with him in the elevator. She'd never seen her that happy with anyone else before.

Veera hugged her back and laughed controlling her tears of happiness. Cora had accepted her romance with Ares.

They pulled apart and Veera sighed.

"What are we going to do about Leo?"

Later that evening.

Veera found her way to the grotto. It was located inside a mini looking cave with a waterfall coming over the entrance. Veera stepped inside the waterfall quickly and saw Ares who was already inside the pool. His eyes brightened up and smiled when she came inside.

She removed her towel she had wrapped herself around with and blushed madly as he wolf whistled at her. Veera was wearing a multicoloured floral print tankini. Blushing away Ares helped her inside the pool and swirled her in his arms, before setting her down.

"Hi beautiful."

"Hey, handsome." Veera chuckled and Ares kissed her cheek,

"So just that we're clear, we're going back to Italy tomorrow right?"

"Wait, you've decided to come with me already?"

"Yes!"

Ares bear hugged her and spun her in his arms laughing out of happiness. Veera couldn't help but laugh too. She wrapped her legs around his waist as he warmly hugged her.

They both stared at each other and Veera sighed looking away from him and resting her head on his shoulder. The tingles flew through them again and Ares sat down holding her carefully on his lap.

"I'm sorry about Leo, he shouldn't have hurt you like that."

**T: He was being an unnecessary b!tch**

Veera kissed him on his cheek and Ares hid his smirk. Leo was most welcome to attack him if he was going to get Veera to kiss away his 'pain'

Veera pulled away and looked at him.

"His just on this stupid 'Soldier' pills his taking."

"Baby, let’s not talk about Leo. Let's just enjoy ourselves tonight?"

Ares mischievously grinned and took Veera near the deep end, and she freaked out, holding on to him.

"Ares! I'm not good with the deep end."

"I know, but then again, I'll be your personal swimming coach when you come back with me."

"Tell me you remember how to float?"

"I..do."

"Then show me?" He challenged.

Veera pulled away from him and concentrated remembering what she was taught and she was doing it when right, but suddenly she didn't breathe right and panicked going under water.

Luckily, Ares pulled her back to safety and Veera breathed out hugging his warm body. "We'll work on it later?"

He nodded and took her back to the shallow end. Veera relaxed as Ares got out and got him and her a tropical drink.

Veera sipped it and licked her lips tastefully.

"Hmm this is good."

"So just that you know, I'll be going back with you for atleast two weeks?"

**T: Two weeks?!**

"Or you could permanently move to Italy?"

Veera splurted out her drink in surprise.

**A: Oh crap! I scared her."

"What?! Ares I can't I have a job back at home I can't leave my friends and Aunt Rita?"

**T: Yes you can baby girl! Do it for Troy!**

**A: Let's not push her. Eventually after we have truly claimed her, she'll change her mind.**

"You're right, I'm sorry. I completely forgot about them. You may do as you wish Veera, I will never hold you against your will."

Veera relaxed and hugged him. She looked up at him and gave him a sweet kiss on the cheek.

Suddenly her mark on her neck burned.

**T: Well there are other ways to change her mind too."**

**A: Enough, we already have her, there's no need to make her mark pain anymore.**

Veera turned around and hissed grabbing her mark.

"Baby, what’s wrong?" Ares said hiding his guilt.

"Nothing it just... pained me?"

"Here, let me kiss it better for you." Ares grinned and licked at her neck.

Veera blushed and as he did so. She was trying hard not to get aroused, but it was too late. He attacked her sweet spot, making her stir up inside. She closed her eyes and pulled him closer. A smirk spread through his lips as he kissed on her bite mark, full with passion.

Veera felt an exciting shiver pass through her and as she felt his hot wet tongue on her neck, pulling and sucking on it. Veera went hard. She bit down on her lower lip as she felt an amazing sensation tingling within her core. A gasp escaped as she contained her moan. Unable to deny the lust in her, Veera passionately kissed him back. Ares grinned and let her kiss him. Ares started his dominance of her mouth, and pulled at her lower lip, growling ever so lowly. She was fighting to taste him, and ran her fingers through his dark thick locks.

Veera sat on him now and unconsciously started to grind on him, whilst she kissed harder and hungrier this time. Ares had to control his large bulge as she continued giving him pleasures below. He watched her humping on him slowly and held her hips as she looked at him. He nervously gulped she rubbed her hands up and down his chest slowly.

"Veera." She saw him flash his eyes pink and then blue.

"Does Troy want to come out and play?" Veera teased as she trailed her hand right below, and she grabbed his member. He was hard. Veera blushed kissing him sensually and stroking him slowly up and down, making him very hot and bothered with her.

Veera chuckled and pulled away her hand.

"You're going to pay for teasing me like that, little bird." He growled lowly by her ear making Veera suddenly excited and scared.

Veera pulled away from him quickly laughing in excitement, and got out of the pool. Ares got out of the pool and play chased with her. He finally caught her and pushed her in the pool with him. Veera thought she was going to drown at one point, but Ares pulled her out of the water, and held her high in the air.

"Ares! Put me down!!"

Ares grinned and Veera shook her head.

"Don't!"

But it was too late, Ares threw her playfully in the water. She splashed and came back up since she pushed herself with her feet. Thankgod he threw her in the shallow end. Veera growled at him angrily and chased him and Ares grinned as she came on his back.

"You ready to go down with me? Better hold you breath sweetheart."

In a playful way, Ares also took the opportunity to teach her more swimming lessons.

Veera wasn't ready but it was too late to escape when he held her firmly on his back and dived in the water.

Ares let her go and turned around. Her mouth was filled with air, and she looked so cute. He grinned pulling her back up, and she breathed finally.

"See it wasn't so bad was it?"

Actually, it wasn't.

She shook her head and smiled wiping her face off the water.

"Want to try again?"

Veera was just about to reply, when suddenly a figure came into the cave.

"Get your hands of her you beast!!"

It was a very, very p!ssed of looking Leo.

**T: (GROWLS)**

"Leo, calm down!" Veera said standing infront of Ares who was calmly looking at Leo, trying his best not to kill him at this point.

"Veera, our flight leaves in an hour, get out of the pool and lets go." He said in a demanding tone, with his furious red looking eyes more redder than before. Leo stared at Veera,

Cora came in soon after a little out of breath.

"V, I tried to stop him, but he refuses to leave without you."

"Veera, is leaving with me tomorrow." Ares said looking straight at Leo who ignored him and looked at Veera instead.

Veera sighed getting out of the water and, quickly wrapped a towel around her body and then came towards her best friend.

"I'm sorry you had to find out about this way Leo, but I'm sorry....but.."

"But what Veera?" Leo gritted his teeth, controlling his rage with her.

Veera had trouble saying the next words, but she couldn't help it.

"I love him!" It came out as a very low whisper.

Leo looked more p!ssed off at Ares then ever. He smiled cheekily at her, and she blushed and returned her attention back to Leo. The angry one. Eventually, he'd have to find out about it, so why not now?

"You what?" His red eye almost twitched as Ares got out of the pool keeping his distance from her best friend before he decided to break his nose.

"There I said it. I love him! I love him!" Veera repeated more clearly and with volume this time.

**T: You tell him babe**

Ares hid his grin and looked back at a very heated Leo.

"You can't be serious V!" Leo snapped looking very irritated with him.

"You know what his doing? His just trying to get in your pants, and once his done his dirty deed, he'll dump you, like his previous whore! Do you know how many girlfriends he had in the past? Alot Veera. So you're nothing special. You're just his next whore nothing more."

Veera was hurt, she was surprised by how harsh Leo sounded but most of all, she was p!ssed of at him and gave him a very, very hard slap on his cheek.

**T: Ouch that was loud.**

Her eyes watered and Veera couldn't utter another word at him and she turned around, but Leo growled and got hold of her wrist making her turn around, harshly. Leo looked down at Veera in a way that showed possessiveness.

"We're leaving! NOW!"

"Stop, you're hurting me Leo!!" Veera cried out resisting his pull. This time, Leo was not letting go off her, and started dragging her away.

In a flash Ares caught his hand and squeezed it fiercely giving out a low growl at him.

"Let go of my mate." Ares said darkly, making Leo look at Veera and then back at him. He grinned wildly looking at Veera in a sudden lustful way.

"She's not your mate!" Leo sucker punched him with is other free hand and the two engaged in a fight.

Cora and Veera pulled Ares and Leo back.

"Stop it Leo!! You're not yourself!!" Cora tried to pull him away, but Leo was furious and pushed her away harshly across the cave, making Cora crash into a couple of chairs, hurting her head.

"Cora!" Veera screamed as she saw a trickle of blood running down her temple.

Leo wasn't even bothered to see Cora, and kept his eyes locked on Ares.

Both of them punched, kicked and attacked one another in a wrestling way. Troy wanted to pull out his claws and finish Leo but Ares held back on his intentions to kill him.

**T: Finish him!**
**A: We kill him, she'll never forgive us Troy.**

Troy growled not wanting to see Veera get hurt.

Ares threw Leo towards the wall, and he crashed, with a groan.

This time, Cora got up again, and went towards him. But Leo got up.

"I won't leave without you Veera! You're coming home with him! Not HIM! ME!" Leo snapped looking more angrily towards her, making Veera look at him worriedly. This was not Leo. This was a very very angry one.

"Leo, calm down please!" Veera said but Leo looked angrily back at Ares. Leo growled angrily at Ares and ignored Veera.

**T: Hulk mad? This guy just won't stay down?! His starting to p!ss me off!**

Ares was just about to make a move but Cora came infront of him and pulled out a tazzer from her side.

"I'll handle him." Cora said making Ares surprised. She could barely stand, but Cora was a fighter. She hated seeing her lover like this. The drugs had made him mad. Veera looked towards Leo who started laughing at Cora darkly. She had blood rushing down from her temple but Cora didn't care. She just needed to knock out Leo with her tazzer.

"Move out of my way Cora." Leo said annoyingly.

"No."

He was pissed of at Cora for taking out the tazzer on him. He was the enemy! How dare his girlfriend turn on him. Leo growled and attacked coming towards Cora fast. Ares moved too, but then suddenly stopped when another figure came in a rush furiously instead.

Leo was thrown back harshly against the rock wall and he stood up facing another Were.

"Hurting my lady, is a bad move you scum." Kian ferociously growled at Leo and then looked back at Cora who was startled to her core, as he glowed his eyes back at her, with sudden possessiveness.

Cora looked shaken up as Kian came towards her and touched her face gently and took a look at her wound. His eyes were gentle on her. Cora was speechless as Kian examined her wound and looked down at her with great concern.

Kian growled back at Leo who got up again and looked wildly back at Kian.

"You're dead."

"So are you."

With wild fire in their eyes, both the males growled at one another and fisted their hard fisted to their sides, and took off running at each other, ready to finish one another off in one move.
