Chapter 27
Tyrone's voice was still so soft and the words that came out made me feel sad.
Despite what Cecil had told me, it was Tyrone who had snatched and burned my body.
But I thought at the time that Tyrone was innocent and that he must have been devastated to learn that his lover had become a vampire.
Not to mention my status as a hunter.Tyrone, as the leader of the hunter camp, had to burn my body in front of the Petermen in order to stop them from feeling scared.
Only then will the Peterman trust the hunters again and give them commissions and shelter.
I thought I could understand Tyrone, but at this point it still hurt to hear Tyrone's own words that he burned my body.
Tyrone didn't take Katelyn's word for it, which I expected. tyrone is a natural leader, calm and attentive, never blindly gullible.
But I don't know whether to be sad or happy. Doesn't Tyrone want me to live?
I didn't hear a hint of joy in Tyrone's tone.
There was a sudden silence next door for a moment, and I guess Katelyn was thinking about Tyrone's words as well; after all, if I hadn't experienced the whole rebirth thing myself, I wouldn't have believed that someone who died could continue to live in a different body.
This is simply too psychic.
Sure enough, Katelyn's voice rang out again and she said, "You're right, Tyrone, they must have scared me on purpose. But it's true that Cecil hooked up with a vampire, what are you going to do with them?"
"Kill them all of course, I'll have someone looking for Cecil and the vampire tomorrow." Tyrone said with a grin.
I couldn't help but cringe, my chest feeling as uncomfortable as if it was clogged.
It's amazing that Tyrone was so cruel to my brother that he believed Katelyn without even bothering to look into what happened.
I soon found out why.
I didn't want to hear any more of their conversation, I wanted to grab Katelyn immediately and make her give up the antidote before I killed her.
So I walked over to the liquor cabinet and picked up a wine bottle that looked a little familiar, but I didn't have the extra energy to think about it at the moment.
All I want to do is break this bottle to lure Tyrone away, then I'll take the opportunity to teleport over and grab Katelyn.
But when I heard Katelyn's voice again, I froze.
Katelyn said to Tyrone in a woman's characteristic sticky voice, "Tyrone, you are the best man in the world. Honey, can you kiss me?"
Katelyn is an indiscreet woman who likes to seduce men and use them.
And Tyrone is focused on healthy sexual relationships and never messes around, and he doesn't like women like that.
I never thought they'd have any kind of fling.
It must be Katelyn who is hitting on Tyrone, yes! That must be it, Tyrone must have rejected Katelyn.
I grip the bottle in my hand and nervously wait for Tyrone's reply.
But after waiting for a while, all I heard was incoherent, ambiguous gasps from next door.
They're kissing!
"Snap!"
My fingers suddenly loosened uncontrollably and the bottle fell to the floor, landing in a shower of glass shards.
Before I could react from the shock, the door in front of me was opened.
I saw Tyrone, whom I hadn't seen in a long time, wearing only a nightgown, the open collar of which revealed the traces of his recent dalliance.
I stared at him blankly, suddenly forgetting what I had come here for.
Until Katelyn followed suit, pointing at me menacingly and screaming at Tyrone, "Oh, she's the vampire that came with Cecil to sneak up on me.Tyrone, you have to help me kill her!"
Tyrone's eyes are cold, and when he hears Katelyn's words, he suddenly lowers his eyelids and looks at me with a half-smile.
I suddenly had a bad feeling that this was the look Tyrone only got when he was torturing vampires.
Tyrone has a hobby I don't really like - he likes to torture vampires. Every time I've met one, I've looked for an opportunity to just kill the vampire.
When I saw him make that face, I immediately ran for the window.
I didn't want to explain to Tyrone the truth about me being Cheryl, I was afraid he wouldn't believe it, and even more afraid he wouldn't let me go if he did.
But I couldn't beat Tyrone and had to run away in disarray.
Although I was fast in my teleportation and escaped Tyrone's apartment without incident. But Tyrone was fast too, and I could feel him not far behind me.
I ran forward frantically, all the scenery around me becoming a vapor. But I could hear the constant sound of something being hit in my ears.
The sound made my head spin, as if I would be the one to be hit next.
"Okay, that's far enough." Tyrone said suddenly.
Then my body suddenly couldn't move, and Tyrone was slowly closing in on me.
Trone's POV
Katelyn and I were kissing passionately when the sound of breaking glass suddenly came from next door.
I remembered with a start that I had just forgotten to lock the door to the wine stash in my rush to open the door downstairs.
I immediately ran over and then saw a strange woman.
It's not entirely unfamiliar, and a bit familiar.
I kept my eyes on her, and it was when Katelyn said she was a vampire that I finally found the woman deep in my memory.
She was the first person I bit after becoming a vampire, but it didn't kill me. At the time I was still a bit alarmed at the change in me and let go of her after half the blood I had sucked.
I don't know her name, but she definitely knows I'm a vampire.
I wanted to kill her immediately, but she got away before I could make a move.
I immediately grabbed my shotgun and went after her, but Katelyn caught up with me.
That stupid woman! All she does is cause me trouble!
I'll just have to rely on my hunter abilities to hunt down that vampire for now.
After running through the jungle for a while, I finally got rid of Katelyn. and, I soon caught up with the vampire girl, then used my creator status to control her to stop.
I was the one who turned this girl into a vampire, so I am the creator of this girl. The creator can control the descent's body at will and drive them to do everything, including kill themselves.
Well, it looks like I'm destined to have a full meal tonight.
Maybe I can torture her painfully before that.
