Chapter 51.
It was Tyrone and Katelyn.
"Hell, didn't Burris say they'd be going to the manor?" Cecil grumbled with an annoyed frown.
I gave Cecil an unpleasant look and defended, "Burris has his moments, Cecil, you should let go of your prejudice against him."
The corner of Cecil's mouth twitched sarcastically, "My dear sister, would you already help him chastise your brother now that you're not even married to him?"
I was about to retort to him when Cecil slammed his foot down on the gas and lurched towards the two in front of me.
The kid must have done it on purpose! I gave him a hard stare, thinking that I would teach Cecil a lesson later.
But for now we should work together to solve the two big problems in front of us, the one big problem of Tyrone to be exact.
Katelyn's eyes were red as well, but I was sure she was still the lowest of the low vampires.
The car was certainly no match for the vampire's speed, and despite the fact that Cecil had the accelerator pushed to the floor, Tyrone and Katelyn disappeared a second before the car hit them.
Without stopping, Cecil continued on the accelerator and drove forward, driving up the ring road again.
It was like Tyrone and Katelyn were a hallucination of what we had just seen.
But the next second I thought that, the roof of the car dented after a loud noise. Almost simultaneously, the windshield in front of us shattered.
I grabbed Cecil's collar and quickly got out of the way, and the next moment the car was dropped by Katelyn into the cliff next to the ring road.
Tyrone and Katelyn were standing across from us, Katelyn's head seemed to be cocked to the sky and I had no idea what the stupid woman was showing off to me.
"Long time no see, Chris," Tyrone greeted me affectionately.
He had that familiar smile on his face that I used to just find charming, but now I just felt sick to my stomach.
I suddenly realized that I would have thought Tyrone was the most handsome man before, probably because I rarely went out and my eyes didn't work too well.
"Why do you keep coming after me?" I questioned him in a cold voice.
Tyrone obviously didn't know I was Cheryl, yet he kept refusing to leave me alone, which I thought was odd for that.
"Oh, that I guess I should explain, because I don't want to hunt you down now, you have a greater use." Tyrone said with a false smile on his face.
I frowned at him, holding back my inner discomfort as I waited for his answer, all the while looking for a chance to take Cecil away.
Although I was currently ranked as a Duke, Tyrone was also a Duke. And since he was a Duke with more fighting experience than me, the best strategy was to leave first.
"I'm your creator, you should know that. I used to worry that your presence would be discovered by the residents before I tried to kill you. But I'm following Prince Dennis' orders to capture you now." Tyrone explained.
"So, I see. tyrone, do you know who I am?" I asked him with a sudden smile.
Tyrone's face didn't change much, and I knew he thought I was playing a trick.
But actually I was suddenly thinking of something interesting.
"I'm Cheryl, Katelyn told you a long time ago, but you don't seem to believe it until now." I smiled and gave Katelyn a look.
At my words, Tyrone's expression finally loosened and seemed a little shocked and questioning.
"You may not believe it, but there is indeed magic in this world that can bring souls back to life. I'm Cheryl, we had a sweet relationship once, don't you really remember that Tyrone," I looked at him with fake disappointment.
Tyrone looked at me for a long moment and I frowned at him.
Katelyn looked a little anxious and couldn't help but pull on Tyrone's arm, "Tyrone, she must be lying to you, Cheryl is long dead, don't you die seeing that? Let's get her back."
I felt a little ridiculous, even I saw the truth and this stupid woman still thought Tyrone loved me deeply.
But to my shock, Tyrone changed her face in a flash, her eyes quickly building up with pitiful tears.
"Are you really still alive Cheryl, I miss you so much."
He looked at me painfully and took a step closer towards me, but hesitated to go too fast.
Tyrone acted like he was really crying for me, but I definitely didn't believe it, I was just shocked by how fast he changed his face.
Before he could close in on me, I took Cecil back a little further and looked at him with a smile, "Yeah? But Cecil said you burned my body."
"I'm the head hunter after all, and you were already dead at the time, I had to do that. If you were alive, Cheryl, even if you were a vampire, I would have protected you." Tyrone argued.
"Ha, that's funny, aren't you a vampire too Tyrone," I said looking at him sarcastically.
Tyrone looked at me, unable to argue any further, the smile on his face fading to a stiff one.
"But it's okay, I like you so much, I believe you have your reasons." I suddenly said softly to Tyrone, my eyes looking at him obsessively.
"Sis!" Cecil looked at me in shock, "How can you forgive him? Besides, you have Burris ......"
I suddenly wanted to laugh a little, the silly boy must think I'm a philanderer, but I had to hold it in.
"That's nice of you to think that, Cheryl," Tyrone said as he tried to lunge at me again.
"Wait a minute!" I raised my hand to stop Tyrone and looked at Katelyn before I told him, "If you really want to be with me again, kill this woman for me!"
I pointed at Katelyn.
Tyrone flinched and followed my finger back to Katelyn, then slowly walked towards her.
Katelyn stared in horror and shook her head slowly, pleading with Tyrone, "No, Tyrone, she's lying to you. You can't kill me, you'll regret it ......"
Tyrone took a step closer towards her and Katelyn fell to the ground with her legs weak with fear.Tyrone stepped forward and bent down and grabbed her by the neck.
I winked at Cecil with a sly look in my eyes, and it dawned on Cecil that I understood what I meant.
"Click!" A strange sound escaped Tyrone's mouth.
I turned my head curiously to look over, but he was in front of me in an instant. With my shocked eyes, he choked me with the same hand that had been holding Katelyn a moment ago.
Tyrone looked at me and smiled sardonically, "Cheryl, is that what you want to hear? But Katelyn is still of some use to me, I can't kill her, and you don't have the right to negotiate with me."
Sure enough, Katelyn wasn't dead, she was still sitting on the floor with a horrified look on her face.
Tyrone's acting was so good, not only did he fool me, but he fooled Katelyn as well.
"Bastard, you let go of my sister!" Cecil tried to step forward to free me.
Tyrone hooked the corners of his mouth, gave Cecil a somber look, and said coldly to Katelyn, "Katelyn, if you're still sitting there, then you're really no use to me."
The next moment, Katelyn and Cecil were tangled up in a fight.
Apparently, Katelyn was the better fighter, not only did she understand the fighting skills of a hunter, but she also had the speed and sharp claws of a vampire.
I felt worried and anxious inside for Cecil, but couldn't break free of Tyrone's grip.
He didn't even bother to use his creator status to control me, the comfortable look on his face like he was enjoying my struggle in his hands.
I hated Tyrone so much that seeing him now made me want to rip his head off.
I hated myself, too, for my own incompetence.
"Ah-" A gruesome cry of pain was Cecil's voice.
I jerked over to look.
One of Cecil's arms had been ripped off by Katelyn, and Cecil was rolling from side to side on the floor in pain, blood spurting from the broken arm.
"No! Cecil!" i was frantic to get over there, but I was tightly restrained by Tyrone.
My eyes turned bloodshot and I stretched my nails, aiming them at Tyrone's heart.
"Dammit! Let me through or I'll rip your heart out!" I threatened Tyrone.
Tyrone looked at me with disdain and his eyes turned blood red as my body suddenly couldn't move.
He cupped my jaw and turned to Cecil, his disgusting breath spraying in my ear as he said, "Cheryl, if you were sure you could kill me, you wouldn't just threaten me."
"Just watch, Cheryl. how will Katelyn torture Cecil?" Tyrone asked me with a smile.
No, I've never been more desperate.
Intense hatred almost stabs me in the heart, and even tearing Tyrone to pieces won't ease my feelings right now.
Katelyn took a step closer towards Cecil, her features even twisted from the viciousness ......
I closed my eyes in despair, unable to bear watching any longer, I couldn't imagine how Katelyn would torture Cecil.
