Chapter 54.

"I lose, I concede, Duster," At the crucial moment, Collier turned human and offered to concede.
If one side conceded defeat, the other side would not be able to continue with the attack.
I could tell that Duster was still on the verge of a rampage, and he must have been resigned to letting Collier go just like that.
But the people watching the match started blaming Duster, and they were really biased towards Collier.
Duster gave Collier a vicious look and had to let go of him and turn around and walk out of the ring.
This made me feel angry and heartbroken.
Maybe these stupid werewolves really hated Duster because of me, but it was a fact that Duster had won, and they should have trusted their leader.
Seeing Duster come out, I immediately greeted him, worried, "Duster, how are you doing?"
I looked over to him and sure enough, I saw a gruesome wound on his small arm.
Duster's eyes softened at the sight of me.
He lifted his arm to look at it and said casually, "It's nothing, I was careful to avoid Collier's trap after I knew he was playing a trick."
"Duster, you're amazing. Never mind those who are prejudiced against you, I think your strength is what makes you best suited to be the leader of the werewolves." I complimented Duster sincerely.
"Really, Cheryl, you really think so?" Duster's eyes glowed as he looked at me.
"Of course, that's what I really think. I'm sorry for the injustice you suffered and I hope they will regret what they did today one day." I said.
Duster had a rare coy look on his face and kept his head down and grinning and giggling.
That's when Collier came out of the ring as well. He was immediately surrounded by a crowd of people, some comforting him, some concerned, and some whispering curses at Duster on his behalf.
I frowned and couldn't help but turn around and glare at them with bloodshot eyes.
"Damn it, you guys better shut up.Duster is the winner." I reprimanded them coldly.
"Okay, Cheryl, stop it." Duster tugged on my arm.
I turned to Duster then reluctantly, "Come on Duster, let's get out of here, they're not worth guarding."
"Look out Cheryl!" yelled Duster to me.
Duster was still a step too late, and just as his voice rang out, a hot burning sensation came down my back.
Immediately after, Duster swung his fist at me with a face full of rage. I subconsciously closed my eyes as Duster's fist passed by my ear and struck the man behind me.
Duster immediately pulls me to him, nervously checking my wound. I turned my head toward the wound as well.
It was a silver stick needle used to knit sweaters and it was still stuck in my back, the wound was splitting in both directions.
"Cheryl, this silverware needs to be pulled out as soon as possible." Duster looked at me worriedly.
I glared hard at my sneak attacker - it was a girl standing next to Collier.
She had just taken a hit from Duster and was now leaning weakly on Collier.
"Fine, pull it out for me, Duster," I said coldly.
Duster didn't hesitate and pulled the silver weapon out of my back without waiting for a response.
The sharp pain lasted only a few brief seconds, followed by a searing sensation that was still bearable.
"Duster, how dare you hurt your own kind for a vampire, you have no business being our leader!" Collier rebuked Duster sternly.
"Maria was the one who hurt Cheryl first," Duster clenched his fists in anger. He took a step forward, holding me behind him.
"A werewolf's mission is to destroy vampires, and I don't think Maria did anything wrong."
Collier looked at Duster and snorted coldly, "You betrayed the pack, do you want us to follow you?"
"Cheryl is my friend. You were the one who said we would decide the leader by fighting, and now that I've won, are you going to backtrack?" Duster was getting a little emotional.
"Unless you are willing to kill this vampire, you are not qualified to be our leader." Collier said faintly.
"No way! I should kill you!" Duster said angrily, trying to go up to Collier and attack him.
The men around Collier were armed, and at that moment, they all raised their weapons because of Duster's actions.
I immediately pulled Duster back, "Wait, you calm down Duster."
If it wasn't for me, Duster would definitely not hurt his own kind, he would just get beaten up now that he went over there.
Duster also saw the weapons in the group's hands and his eyes became very frustrated.
"Let's go, Cheryl. i don't want to be the leader anymore." Duster whispered.
"What does that mean Duster, you want to be a rogue?" Collier looked at Duster provocatively.
Duster ignored him as he looked back at Rory and Gene and asked, "Rory, Gene, are you going to break away from the pack with him too?"
Rory and Gene frowned and looked a little hesitant.
"It's okay, boys, stay." Duster slapped them expansively on the shoulder.
Rory and Gene hung their heads, not objecting to the suggestion that they too would leave Duster.
Why did they do this to Duster?I felt angry for Duster.
"Let's go, Cheryl," Duster said out loud again, urging me on.
I didn't move, just stared hard at Collier's neck. I wanted to bite the sly werewolf, I seemed to see Tyrone in him.
"What's wrong, Cheryl? Is something wrong?" Duster asked me worriedly.
"I'm going to kill them." I said in a cold voice.
"What?" Duster looked at me in surprise.
"If you don't kill Collier today, he'll kill you in the future." I looked up at Duster and said coldly, "Collier and the girl in his arms, I'm going to kill them both!"
"There's no need for that, Cheryl, didn't you just talk me out of it?" Duster said eagerly.
I didn't answer Duster, just stared across the table at the two men with icy eyes.
Maybe it was Cecil's death that planted the seeds of hatred in my heart. Now the seed was watered by just a little anger and it broke the ground and grew into a big tree that eventually bore the fruit of evil.
I am no longer soft and merciful to my enemies, for I know they will not be kind to me either.
Violence ran wild in my heart and I lunged at Collier and the girl named Maria.
My only targets were Collier and Maria, but in an instant all the werewolves screamed and scattered, then they gathered in a circle, trapping me in the middle.
"Get out of the way! You bastards!" Duster hissed as he tried to squeeze in, separated from the circle by them.
"Cheryl, what's wrong with you?" He was pinned in the middle of the crowd, looking at me worriedly.
What's wrong with me? I felt a little confused. I didn't know why Duster was looking at me like that, the worried look in his eyes as if I was being manipulated by the devil.
But my mind was clear now, I just wanted to kill those two werewolves.
I ignored Duster, he would know that I had made the right decision. The werewolves also ignored Duster, they were coming at me with their weapons.
I felt extremely angry, I didn't understand why they were attacking me, I hadn't hurt them at all.
Suddenly, I felt a powerful force arise in my body. It was a familiar and unfamiliar power, as if it had appeared before.
Then, my feet actually left the ground and I floated in the air as everyone looked at me in surprise.
"Oh my god, is she a demon ......" I heard someone whisper in shock.
After floating in mid-air, my vision became more open and my eyesight instantly locked on Collier and Maria. at their terrified eyes, I lunged towards them.
Collier turned into a wolf, but all he did was run away, leaving Maria on the ground.
"Don't do this, Cheryl," Duster said, stepping in front of Maria and looking at me apprehensively.
"You'll regret this, Duster, they won't appreciate it." I gave Maria a cold look and turned to go after Collier.
I felt my speed get faster, with a steady stream of energy inside me, and I soon spotted the black wolf still running wild.
"Cheryl!" called Duster, still behind me.
But the only thing in my crimson eyes was the black wolf, and killing him was my only goal now ......
